I can only say INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I got to eat a wide variety of sweet and savory dishes, savory brioche, filled pastries, mini pizzas, brownies, and much more.. the food is truly amazing, it’s one of the best shops where I managed to find everything gluten-free and lactose-free!!! Pastries were absolutely amazing! being gluten free, things never taste like gluten but these tasted like the real deal! It was so delicious and I highly recommend. The baker also gave us a great recommendation to go for gluten free dining!

I have been celiac for 28 years and I occasionally visit this place... but I realize that the quality keeps decreasing. Usually, I take takeout for lunch and some sweets. An example... This summer, I had a delicious pizza with very high-quality ingredients and some cookies that I didn't like much because they were too dry... Today I bought a pistachio cake and it tasted like a slightly dry paradise cake but definitely not like pistachio. Then I got a brownie that was good overall. And then I had the pizza you see in the photo. The pizza was dry; I even tried reheating it, but it felt like it was from the day before. It's not the only bakery in Bergamo, but it's a shame that such a nice place doesn't produce something of the highest level. The ingredients are always fresh, nothing to say about that, but a little more attention would be needed. Also, the selection is often very limited. I will come back anyway because I always hope to find something of that level again after the pizza from this summer. The prices, like all gluten-free places, are a bit high, but this doesn't depend on the venue.

Honestly the best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. We landed in Bergamo and came straight here after visiting two years ago for the first time. Their pizza is magic, the variety of other products is stunning, and the owner is very fun to talk to. Well done and keep it up Privo!

Objectively the best gluten-free bakery you can find in Bergamo and its province. Unfortunately, the prices are what they are due to being gluten-free, but they are still in line with other bakeries/bars that have fresh gluten-free products.

We were lucky enough to be in Bergamo for the reopening of Privo following the flood damage. It’s so rare to find a fully gluten free bakery and we were staying just a short walk away. I chose an apricot croissant and some focaccia, both of which were an absolute treat. Hopefully I’ll find time for another visit while we’re still on holiday.

I am not celiac, but I tried the products from this place because I tend to avoid gluten. I tried various focaccias, muffins, brownies, tarts with cream and fresh fruit, and I can say that they are by far more tasty, fragrant, and enjoyable than the average wheat-based products. A must-try!

This is all gluten free bakery. With a small place to sit and have a coffee with some of the delicious options. We spent there 2/2 mornings we had in Bergamo. We also took some home back to Austria to enjoy it even more. My favorite is pistachio croissant , my husband mostly loved the donuts.

An entirely gluten free bakery with a variety of options and a great price! Everything is fresh with quality ingredients and most have lactose free options too! Amazing bakery (and I would say restaurant because their savory option of pizza and focaccia are also incredible) with a modern but cozy vibe. The baker was also managing the storefront and was happy to explain to me what each thing was and the ingredients. Getting the warm bread straight out of the oven was amazing. It may not be in central Bergamo but it’s a short walk to Città Alta where you can enjoy the amazing pastries and bread that you buy (eat in is also available).

Since my girlfriend is celiac, we found this exceptional gluten-free bakery for our visit to Bergamo. She fell in love with it: perhaps it's the first time she could taste 'real' fresh bakery products, and I was equally impressed to not notice any difference in flavor compared to regular bakery products. We ate different types of pizza and then the very kind and young owner also offered us some delicious desserts! (I also thank him for the directions provided to reach the city center 😊). What can I say?! ... we can't wait to go back to Bergamo just to eat at this bakery (besides the fact that the city is stunning).

I bought some sweets for a celiac relative; the cake in particular was delicious, excellent dough and well-filled; they have a lot of variety of both sweet and salty fresh products and some packaged items. The products stay fresh for several days. I will definitely return and wish I had discovered it earlier.

I just left this little paradise for celiac sufferers, and besides highlighting the kindness of the owner (anything but taken for granted), I can only say how exquisite everything is: I tried the pizza, the olive focaccia, the orange biscuits and the lemon ones, the cookies, and the tart... perhaps the best gluten-free products I've ever tasted. Recommendation: if you eat the pizza, drink the craft beer, it's phenomenal! Congratulations guys and thank you.

A bakery and a pastry shop, but all without.....gluten! Normally, when looking for gluten-free products, the highest quality you can usually find is from specialized counters in a supermarket. Upon entering Privo, however, one discovers a world where the quality and care of the product reach the highest levels of artisanal baking, all with a great absence: that of gluten. The only note, but it can be imagined, is that for such high quality, the price is obviously not that of the supermarket counter. Recommended for all quality seekers.

Fresh and good products. If you're gluten intolerant, I recommend stopping here. The pastries are excellent, finding fresh ones elsewhere is very difficult. I rate it 4 stars and not 5 because I wish a place like this would use more naturally gluten-free flours.
