A nice place to stop for a rich Italian breakfast or brunch. The venue, located in the historic center of Rapallo, resembles those you might find in London, in Portobello. We had a good experience the first time, so we returned for a second visit. The service is rather slow and the place is almost always crowded, so if you have outings planned, be prepared with your timing. Prices are average: €7.50 for scrambled eggs with milk, bacon, and two slices of bread, while my dish, with eggs benedict, salmon, and pancakes, was €8.50. It is true that almost €20 for breakfast might seem excessive to some, but such a breakfast should not be seen as an Italian breakfast, but rather an English brunch (breakfast + lunch) which is much more nutritious than croissants and coffee in the morning. Their menu, however, offers many choices, including fruit salad. I don't remember if they offer gluten-free dishes, but I don't think I saw anything about it. The black croissants are interesting. I recommend it.

Small place, but really very nice and charming. Attentive and very courteous staff. Wide selection to satisfy all tastes, from the most classic to the most unique. Gluten-free products are available, along with sweet and savory breakfasts and brunch. Highly recommended, I will definitely return!
