A delicate pastry shop, just as delicate as the taste of its mignon. Other users have complained about it, but I personally appreciated the idea of not displaying cream puffs, cannoli, and tarts on the counter, because it means preparing them on the spot, which is synonymous with freshness. I believe it also helps reduce waste of raw materials. The chantilly cream is simply out of this world: one of the best, if not the best among those from pastry shops in Piacenza that I have tried so far. Fresh, light, and delicious. The balance between cream, whipped cream, and vanilla is perfect. I approve of the decision to have a smaller variety of mignon, which nonetheless turn out to be excellent. For me, the saying has always held true: few, but good. It's a shame about the communication not being exactly top-notch from the staff girl: indeed, we repeated several times that we wanted a tray as diversified as possible, including pieces with pistachio and zabaglione. Unfortunately, we only had one pistachio cream puff, while all four cannoli were filled only with cream. It's a real disappointment since we would have liked a bit more variety in the pastries. However, the cream puffs were appreciated, as the pistachio tasted like pistachio and the hazelnut tasted like hazelnut, a detail that’s not at all taken for granted, as I have often found in other places where I couldn't discern the difference between the various creams. The zeppola was also approved, as despite being fried, it proved to be very digestible. Personally, I prefer pastry shops with a wider assortment, so I don’t think this will become one of my go-to places, but I’m happy to have indulged in this novelty. The interiors of the pastry shop are also very nice, and I greatly appreciate the space given to gluten-free desserts, even allocating an additional display case just for that. Now more than ever, we need this type of diversification in the food sector to allow people to enjoy life without sacrifices.

Finding fresh vegan sweets is not easy, so the Dante pastry shop has become a go-to place for when we crave something sweet :). Vegan and gluten-free pastry shop offering fresh, beautiful, and really tasty products at a fair price. Always kind and helpful staff. Maybe a bit inconvenient for parking, but it's worth it.

I called to ask if they have gluten-free brioche and they said no. I'm sad 🥹 I'm celiac and in Piacenza I can't eat brioche. Even sadder 🥺
