We went to eat at this charming and lovely agriturismo last Sunday for lunch to celebrate a birthday. We ate really well; everything was very tasty, the dishes a bit different from the usual offerings found in common agriturismi, and the portions were generous. The serving staff were very kind, knowledgeable, and well-organized. A special mention to the gluten-free menu that was served to my children (both celiacs): unlike other places, here they were able to enjoy the entire menu we had but in a gluten-free version, with some necessary modifications. What I appreciated most was that the dishes served to them were not at all trivial, as can be seen from the photos, which is often sadly the case in other places due to the lack of adequate training on celiac disease. In the photos, you can see the gluten-free appetizer they brought to my kids; everything was very good and plentiful. As a first course, they served fusilli with ragù (for the non-celiacs, they brought cannelloni instead of fusilli) and a lime and pepper risotto, followed by sliced beef with balsamic vinegar and a side dish of baked potatoes. I didn't photograph the first and second courses, but they were delicious and well-presented. For dessert, my children had the small 'spherical' tiramisù you see in the second photo, while we had the classic birthday cake with sponge cake, custard, and chocolate chips, both very good. Everything was served separately and with great attention by the staff. Finally, we took a stroll outside where we met several cute little animals. What can I say?! It was our first time, but it certainly won’t be the last!

Very nice location, though it doesn't give this impression upon arrival. Quite the opposite once you pass the entrance; the spaces are well divided with large rooms, allowing children to play freely and parents to relax. The menu also seemed good, with tasty appetizers both visually appealing and satisfying, but there were limited options for those intolerant to gluten and lactose. I rate the service as adequate. I was a guest at a baptism, so I can't comment on the value for money. The usual flaw was with the dessert; while the group enjoyed an excellent cake (based on comments), another guest and I with intolerances had to settle for the usual fruit salad, which can be a good alternative if made with seasonal and high-quality fruit. There's also an outdoor area for dining or letting the kids run around. My final rating is adequate. Anyway, approved by La Mela 🍎 #agriturismo #newtonsapple777 #baptism
