From the starters to the desserts, everything is great! Prices are medium to high, but it's absolutely worth it. They also have a larger workshop where they provide sweets and bread. A 100% gluten-free place that makes you almost doubt how good it is!
5
Everything was delicious. So many choices. The grandmother's tortellini were very good, but the hamburger was superb. For dessert, we shared the millefoglie, which was really crunchy and flaky, with a velvety and light pastry cream. A must-try if you're in the area.
5
everything strictly gluten-free, excellent pasta and the bread is super soft! you can be sure about it
5
Completely gluten-free menu.
5
simply fantastic!
5
simply stunning all gluten free small place, better to book
5
A bit small, but cute. Very good food, completely gluten-free and with possible vegetarian options. Homemade pasta and very good. I ordered a mixed vegan fried dish as a snack and a nice carbonara as my main. I recommend booking to secure a spot.
5
A must-stop if you pass through Milan. I recommend the saffron risotto with osso buco and the elephant ear cutlet. The desserts and sandwiches are excellent. It's advisable to make a reservation, everything is gluten-free.
5
A small but really nice place. A bit out of the center, but I walked there from the Duomo. A paradise for me, being celiac, and very much appreciated by my non-celiac boyfriend (he ate the bread saying "very good, it doesn’t even seem gluten-free"). We ordered some fried foods to share and then I had a sandwich (delicious!!!!) and he had a dish (a small pot) of carbonara. Generous portions, so much so that we couldn’t finish everything. Highly recommended for everyone, but especially for celiacs. Being able to browse through a menu full of dishes knowing I can choose from all of them is an experience that has happened to me very few times in 10 years.
5
Excellent gluten-free restaurant, very flavorful dishes, excellent service, and a very cozy atmosphere. We spent a few days in Milan and went there twice, it’s a magnificent place.
5
Charming and characteristic place, very welcoming. We tried some delicious burgers. If I may make a small note about the millefoglie, the type of dessert was highly appreciated but the pastry was a bit too hard. But everything was very good 😊
5
This place was so good I went twice during my stay in Milan. EVERYTHING is gluten free! 🤩 The first time I had the carbonara and it was so yummy, and the second time I had the bolognese lasagna and it was so good I got emotional over it. Truly divine. They also served free baguettes and I got the tiramisu dessert, all in disbelief that it is gluten free. So amazingly good. Very cozy place, too. I felt a little claustrophobic upstairs in the dining room so staff accommodated me downstairs and were so nice and helpful. I had a lovely glass of wine both meals and the pairing recommendations were on point.
5
Finally, a place where you can eat everything you want without the risk of contamination! The only downside is the limited space, so I recommend booking in advance... but the staff, super kind, will surely try to find you a table if possible (as happened to me). Excellent service, as well as the food! I will definitely return!!
5
I organized an aperitif in this bistro to celebrate my graduation party, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The atmosphere, although it seems small, is beautiful, cozy, and well taken care of in every detail! The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything; there were more than 15 of us, and even so, they managed to serve us everything very quickly. We also had the chance to meet the manager, and she was really very kind. It is a place specialized in gluten-free products, and I must say they were truly excellent. Being my first time eating gluten-free products, I was really very satisfied with the quality of the homemade items and their freshness. Really delicious. I will definitely be back!!!
5
A paradise for those with celiac disease, and you can't go wrong. Fried foods, bread, pasta, and desserts, all gluten-free. Their bread is delicious. I will definitely return to taste the entire menu. To conclude, a really beautiful and unique place. Very kind staff.
5
Loved this restaurant. Fabulous choices Completely gluten free. Such variety. Such fresh and delicious food. Went with three friends who are all gluten eaters and they too raved about everything we had . Service exceptional, staff speak several languages and bend over backwards to help. Well worth visiting this quant French inspired restaurant. My photos are poor.. Was too excited to even photograph first two courses!
5
It's always nice to be able to enter a place where you can have breakfast, brunch, lunch, etc. without fears of contamination and with the assurance of eating tasty things. A gem in the heart of Milan!
5
Fantastic. Everything is gluten-free and above all delicious, it's just a pity about the distance, otherwise I would come back a thousand times! The staff is very kind and helpful, the atmosphere is intimate and pleasant… everything is spectacular! Thank you for making the stay so enjoyable.
5
Exceptional experience. Everything gluten-free and we are already at the top having celiac children. Moreover, everything is delicious and the service stands out for its friendliness and courtesy. We had a great time and loved the location. We will definitely return. Spectacular cutlet
5
We stopped for lunch with a group of friends (including a vegan), and we ate very well! The hamburger bun was phenomenal! The entire menu is gluten-free, which is always the best news a celiac can receive.
4
A completely gluten-free locale, very beautiful, refined, and the food is very well taken care of. A bit expensive, but 'we're in Milan.' Another downside is the size; it's really small, so you need to book or it will be very hard to find a spot! The staff is really kind and knowledgeable, although the managers were, in our opinion, a bit cold and rude; maybe the problem is that we are from Romagna and are used to a different style, here 'we're in Milan.' Anyway, highly recommended, the 4 stars only to note the downsides of space, prices, and courtesy. In short, to choose in a conscious manner.
4
I had dinner at this very nice bistro with friends, including a celiac and I, who am vegan. They really have a great menu. The portions are very generous (even the glass of wine was really large). Excellent dishes (even the desserts, there’s even a vegan one which is very rare). The only small flaw is the extreme rigidity regarding booking times. For everything else, highly recommended.
5
They told me "we don't handle gluten at all," and I was very happy. The cutlet is amazing and the waiters are very nice💘
4
Very nice and well-kept environment, we happened to stop by because my friend is celiac and we were looking for a place where she could also find something good... we found it! The only downside: they don't have a great non-alcoholic selection for someone like me who's abstinent. I would have expected to find kombucha in a place like this, which is now available everywhere even in Milan. Good service, friendly staff. We will definitely return!
5
Everything gluten-free Great food and very friendly staff. To be repeated to taste everything 😋
5
As many have already said, it's paradise for celiacs (and not). A bistro-style venue where gluten is absent from all dishes and everything is truly very good. From croque monsieur to Milanese cutlet, from sachertorte to pancakes, all strictly gluten-free. I had a fully satisfying brunch menu. Reservations are a must on weekends since the place is really small. Unless you want to queue and wait, it’s definitely worth it anyway.
5
Very good gluten-free food!
5
One of my absolute favorite places. They have all dishes exclusively gluten-free and the quality is incredible. A must-visit for all celiacs and those with intolerances who find themselves in Milan.
5
I have been to this venue several times just for its wide range of offerings, which include breakfast, brunch, aperitif, and dinner. Special mention for the club sandwich, truly exceptional. The bill is a bit high but it's really worth it.
5
It's the best in Milan, a welcoming and quiet place. The menu is really varied and especially the food is amazing!
5
Excellent lunch. Fast service. Very polite waiters. Highly recommended. The best I have tried so far for quality and taste.
5
Paradise for a celiac. A dream to be able to choose EVERYTHING from the menu, even with lactose-free or vegan options. Friendly and smiling staff. Truly spectacular desserts. Reaffirmed by non-celiac friends who dined with us.
5
A treat for celiacs! Everything is gluten-free, but the most important thing is that it’s all delicious! Starting from the first courses to the main dishes... and dessert. Plus, the location is really nice. I will definitely come back!
5
everything gluten-free, amazing
3
Claustrophobic. Very small spaces, at some tables you touch knees, tables with dishes touching those in front. However, hats off to them for offering a gluten-free menu and the prices are pleasing. In fact, they have tables that are perpetually occupied. Prices slightly above average, but one must also consider the uniqueness of the menu and the central location relative to the center. However, I don't think I'll go back because I physically don't fit at the table, I'm 1.88 meters tall and weigh 98 kg, and my knees touch the table.
5
the paradise for celiacs. Everything gluten-free, from breakfast to dinner. Highly recommended.
5
paradise for celiacs…. local 🔝🔝🔝… homemade first courses and amazing desserts…
5
Definitely the paradise for a celiac. Lunch and dinners, but also brunch and aperitifs that are difficult for a celiac to enjoy in peace; their desserts and pastries are incredible!!
1
A definitely nice place, especially for people with celiac disease and their attention to intolerances. Customers for 6 years, bread made for the wedding, deliveries during covid to support the small business. Everything canceled from our reserved table that we booked days in advance at the indicated time of their shifts (12:15 or 14:15) with a phone number in their possession, but given away, without being notified or contacted for 18 minutes of delay. All shared with tones bordering on the surreal. A huge, huge disappointment; we are lost customers.
5
Today we were here to celebrate my birthday.. what can I say.. everything was delicious!! We had lasagna bolognese and roast beef, both were really good!! And for the first time, we tried the Lombard meatballs, and they were also fantastic!! Congratulations on choosing to make everything gluten-free!! I recommend this place for anyone who loves to eat good food.
4
Small but cozy environment. Perfect for celiacs. I ordered a Niçoise salad thinking it would be plentiful, but when it arrived, there were only 3 slices of onion and two leaves of lettuce. For 16 euros, I expected it to be a bit more substantial. Meanwhile, the dishes my friends ordered were definitely more generous! The meatballs are delicious! Bread and desserts, all gluten-free, are very good!
5
Great food, all gluten-free, a paradise for those with celiac disease. Very good appetizers, good lasagna. Very nice and welcoming environment, maybe a bit small. Excellent service.
5
excellent food from appetizers to dessert, exquisite staff, definitely a place to return to

Bistro in Milan is a true landmark for those seeking a completely gluten-free cuisine. I have had the pleasure of visiting this place several times and every time I was impressed by the quality of the food and the service offered. The venue is suitable for every occasion, from breakfasts to brunches, lunches, aperitifs, and dinners, making it perfect for both romantic dates and meals with friends or family. The staff is always kind and professional, making the customer experience very pleasant. It is advisable to book in advance as it is very popular. The menu is very varied, and there isn’t a single dish I wouldn’t recommend. From delicious starters like Milanese mondeghili, to first courses like gnocchi and gorgonzola, excellent sandwiches, burgers, and wraps, all the way to desserts, everything is simply excellent. The fact that everything is gluten-free makes the experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. Overall, it is a place I highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality gluten-free culinary experience. I will definitely return every time I have the opportunity to do so.
5
so many gluten-free options I tried the pancakes which were a bit dry but overall good the prices are a bit high but worth it
5
Wow!
4
Very beautiful and welcoming location, very good food. The entire menu is completely gluten-free.
1
very good food! It is necessary to book in advance, unfortunately the location is small and it feels a bit cramped.
4
Completely gluten-free bistro with delicious dishes! Friendly staff. The only negative note that makes me take away one star is the use of plastic bottles. Nowadays I would expect more attention to these details.
5
paradise for celiacs and lactose intolerant individuals ❤️
5
Great venue highly recommended! We were drawn by the possibility of gluten-free cooking for my partner and we were absolutely satisfied. All the products from bread, to beer to pasta are completely gluten-free and none of us (there were 5 of us) noticed any differences from food containing gluten... including the local bread which I must say... Really the best gluten-free bread I have ever eaten! Truly a nice place and the staff was very polite and had that extra touch of care for each individual customer that always leaves you satisfied!
5
One of my favorite places! It's perfect for having a nice aperitif. Everything is delicious, from the savory to the sweets, and the staff is very kind and quick. Prices are not too high considering the area.
5
Very good food, definitely safe because they only have gluten-free dishes. Unfortunately, the place is really tiny and not very suitable for families with children. Acceptable prices, considering it's located in the center of Milan.
5
Simply excellent. Everything we had (from sandwiches to dessert, including appetizers, first courses, and main dishes) was delicious. The place is welcoming and the atmosphere pleasant. But the classic 'cherry on top' is given by the staff: kind, welcoming, and friendly. It is definitely the perfect place if you are gluten intolerant or accompanying someone who is (or, why not, even if you don’t fit either of those descriptions: everything is excellent and delicious regardless) because, unlike many other places, there is no different treatment: everything coming out of their kitchen is gluten-free! Highly recommended from all points of view.
4
One of the best options for gluten intolerance. I tried lunch, dinner, and aperitivo: excellent products, all strictly gluten-free. Highly recommended! The location is also worth it.
5
I went for the first time yesterday for dinner, and overall I had a wonderful experience. The staff, the girl who served us, was professional and very courteous. There were two of us, and we ordered an appetizer to share, a first course, and a dessert each. We also ordered two glasses of excellent prosecco. Everything is gluten-free and lactose-free, a paradise for those, like me, who can only eat this way!!! For the appetizer, we chose a platter of cured meats and fried dough. Not only is it inviting from my photo, but it's also excellent in terms of the quality of each ingredient present and the chosen pairings. The fried dough was outstanding. I then ordered tagliatelle, available with cacio e pepe: fresh pasta and sauce cooked perfectly. The other first course was tagiolini with fish ragù. I didn't photograph the slice of sacher and the lemon meringue cake because they were so inviting that there wasn't time for photos! 😊 Since I was celebrating my birthday, they put a candle on my slice of sacher, and they really pampered me since I was given a package with a slice of pizza, a piece of focaccia, and one with three desserts, very good and homemade! Thank you again ☺❤ so sweet!
5
Highly recommended. It is truly a paradise for us celiacs. Sandwiches, focaccia, stuffed hamburgers as per the menu of excellent quality and super tasty. Good prices. I haven't tried the first courses yet, I prefer focaccia with porchetta. Everything gluten-free. Friendly and welcoming staff.
4
Spectacular brunch, served at the table to comply with anti-COVID regulations. Well cooked, the right balance between sweet and savory. The paradise for celiacs. Painful notes: there are 2 shifts for the brunch, half an hour before the first shift ended, the waitress came to my table saying if I could leave it free because the clients for the second shift had already arrived. After 5 minutes, she repeated it to me, and I replied that there were still 20 minutes until the second shift started... it's not great to be told to free the table because clients arrived half an hour early.
5
A well-kept and welcoming place with an alternative style. Kind, helpful, and prepared staff to meet customer needs. Located in the central area of Milan, between the Duomo and the Sforza Castle, it offers a fully gluten-free menu rich in recipes at accessible prices compared to the area average. If you are celiac (or not), it must be a stop to make! Until next time.
5
Highly recommended.. We had lunch today.. Everything was excellent from the first course to dessert.. and the bread, I’ve never eaten such good gluten-free bread!! Super friendly staff. Congratulations!
4
Evening with friends..... Very nice place, especially well thought out in detail, although unfortunately a bit small..... The gluten-free menu... a dream... you really wouldn't know what NOT to choose... desserts are good too. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN. Recommended. Why only 4 stars? From a place like this, you expect only room for improvement...... ... courteous staff, perhaps the waitress is a bit inexperienced... but her young age will definitely allow her to improve😘
5
excellent, wide selection of dishes
5
the best restaurant I have tried, very small but really nice, completely gluten-free, anything and everything is available .. starters, first courses, second courses, dessert.. excellent
1
Places with very small environments. Unfit for families 😣 It would be nice to have a completely gluten-free option, but unfortunately, even though we booked and specified we were bringing two small children and a thirteen-year-old who would celebrate her birthday with one of their good desserts, after more than an hour we had to leave with just a tiny platter of cured meats and cheeses and one Milanese served. All the first and second courses were still to be cooked 😥😥😥😥😥😥 Truly absurd for a place in downtown Milan 👎. Furthermore, people who arrived after us were served.
5
Very welcoming environment, prepared staff, and really very kind, delicious dishes!! The menu selection is typical of a Bistrot, well-presented and abundant dishes, ideal for those who suffer from food intolerances but do not want to give up flavor. Beautiful and well-kept interiors. Highly recommend.
5
Spectacular lunch. We had a bagel, a hot dog, a club sandwich, and for dessert cheesecake and donuts..... everything was delicious and fresh. Very kind and welcoming owners. A gluten-free paradise. Congratulations!
5
A wonderful discovery especially for those like me who are celiac; in fact, the menu is completely gluten-free. The location is somewhat small but extends to an upper floor, recreating a somewhat retro yet intimate atmosphere, all accompanied by the warm and prepared hospitality of the staff. What can I say about the menu? It’s a must-try, from the appetizers to the dessert... the menu is varied to satisfy all palates. The quality of the food is excellent, really good... especially the bread (you’ll have more than necessary brought to your table). In short, great experience and fantastic discovery!
5
After several aperitifs at the Bistrô, I can say it is one of my favorite places. The platters have always been very well prepared and tasty, but now they are even better! The attention from the young man who served us is commendable, especially his patience in explaining the various types of beer. Oh, and of course everything is gluten-free and lactose-free!
5
Great place in the center of Milan with culinary offerings exclusively for celiacs, that rival gluten-containing food!!! I am not celiac, I attended a graduation party and everything was truly exquisite and very fresh! Definitely returning for an aperitif or a quick lunch... well done!
5
Very nice place in a beautiful area of Milan, the venue is small but furnished with style and attention to detail. You can have an intimate atmosphere despite the closeness of the tables. Everything is gluten-free, with a wide selection of lactose-free options. Everything is excellent, a true paradise, a cuisine that is attentive to everyone's needs while maintaining a high level of taste and flavor. The desserts are also very good. Recommended.
5
Very nice atmosphere, like a Parisian bistro. A real oasis for celiacs, there's no gluten in the place!!! Generous portions, quality is average, wines are a bit expensive in my opinion. Kind staff. We had a great time.
4
Central, ideal for those who are gluten intolerant since the menu is completely gluten FREE. Not inexpensive and with really limited space.
3
Great place for gluten intolerant people, as everything they cook is gluten-free... Delicious sandwiches at a great price, but the service is super slow... We waited almost 1 hour for 3 sandwiches.
5
Absolutely gluten-free bistro that can be frequented by anyone because the dishes are excellent! Brunch is a must-try! Friendly, smiling, and helpful staff. Absolutely recommended in Milan.
4
If you are celiac and want to have an aperitif, this is the best place: between 6 PM and 8:30 PM, you can order drinks for 10 euros and help yourself at the completely gluten-free buffet! Great options for lunch as well, while I found the desserts less interesting. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the assurance of gluten-free food is worth the expense. It is definitely one of the most interesting places for people with specific dietary needs.
5
Excellent. I was amazed by the quality of the dishes that this place serves. The menu is vast; you can almost get lost in it. They prepare both restaurant and pub dishes. We ordered seafood tagliolini, a club sandwich, and eggs benedict. Everything was really good, but I want to focus for a moment on the latter: I had wanted to try this dish for a long time and I was happy to finally taste it (even though I was expecting the classic English muffin). The waiters were very kind despite the large number of people in the place. The menu is 100% gluten-free and they are all very attentive to allergens, even unusual ones. It was a bit lacking in typical local dishes: being a tourist, I would have gladly tasted a local dish, but after eating, I practically forgot about it. After a stroll downtown, I really recommend stopping by.
5
A beautiful place, very well decorated in shabby style. Attentive staff. Excellent food, especially gluten-free and lactose-free. Nice atmosphere. Many culinary options.
4
A cozy and well-kept bistro in the heart of Milan that offers a rich and tasty fully gluten-free brunch. The place is not very large, but very nice, and the staff is friendly. My friend and I left more than satisfied and we will definitely return!
5
For those who are celiac and lactose intolerant, it's not easy to find suitable places for an aperitif dinner, but at Bistrò there are no problems! Buffet aperitif dinner for €10 including a drink, really very good. As for the menu, the desserts are highly recommended, delicious! Friendly and quick staff to serve.
