a huge selection of gluten-free desserts including various types of cookies and cakes. They also offer focaccia, sandwiches, hamburgers, toast, and other items from the menu. They cannot guarantee non-contamination as the establishment also handles gluten-containing products. They are kind and, in Varazze, it is one of the few places with a selection of gluten-free products.

Diverse gluten-free options for breakfast like cakes, cookies, and more made by them. They do not guarantee total absence of contamination, but I believe it is really great. The place is very nice, staff is kind, and the sweets are delicious! Recommended!

Beware of all that stuff defined as gluten-free; nothing is suitable for a celiac because there is contamination in the production process. The staff is also poorly informed. The only safe things are a couple of packaged cookies purchased from reliable suppliers; get those with a good cappuccino and save yourself the hassle.

As a celiac girl... I am not the kind of person who writes negative comments about a public place, but I believe that by 2025 there should no longer be ignorance on this topic, which is CELIAC DISEASE... You cannot fill every corner of the venue with every type of biscuit, cake, and tart with 'gluten-free' labels, and then tell me that you do not guarantee NON-CONTAMINATION... I get angry because, not being from the area, I traveled a long way to get to Varazze, I chose you, I entrusted you for a welcoming experience, and instead got a door slammed in my face... Rather, and I say this from the heart, continue to buy guaranteed and packaged gluten-free products, as we celiacs are more than happy...

Bar and hot/cold table in the center of Varazze (in front of the Town Hall) with some gluten-free options like crepes, sandwiches, and a few desserts with a small surcharge. Note: the menu states that, while trying to be careful in the preparation of gluten-free dishes, there might be a minimal risk of cross-contamination.

First of all, I clarify that selling gluten-contaminated products is incompetent behavior, and in 2024 it is unacceptable and ridiculous. I appreciate those who tell me they don't have gluten-free options rather than pulling this nonsense to make a profit and speculate. If a food is gluten-free but contaminated, then it is no longer gluten-free food. A celiac who accepts eating contaminated food is not a true celiac, or their doctor has not clearly explained how celiac disease works. I hope my review serves as a strong warning to all people suffering from celiac disease because going here for breakfast is a serious mistake. Certain places (like this one) should be banned from serving gluten-free foods. Rude, superficial staff who are not prepared to handle celiacs. I recommend a course from a gastroenterologist because some people think they know about celiac disease when they really do not. The prices of the products are outrageous. Even gluten-containing food is terrible, aside from being expensive, and there is very little fresh food available. The croissants seem to have been there for days. The same goes for the gluten-free cookies, locked in jars just for show. Absolutely NEVER AGAIN. Knowing that there is a staff member at the bar who is celiac (according to them) is equally sad and worse because there should be the utmost seriousness about this. So, draw your own conclusions.

Very good gluten-free hamburger, there are really a lot of different options to choose from. Instead of the classic hamburger bun, they used toast bread. The person with me had a gluten burger that they said was 'one of the best they've ever eaten.' I will definitely return!

Great offer of gluten-free sweets (super strawberry tart) made at home. Delicious cappuccino. Compliments!!!

The variety of the offer is great and everything is very good; among other things, they have a lot of gluten-free options for celiacs. We tried the toast and they were very good. Everything was very appetizing; we would have liked to try more, so we will return. I don't give 5 stars because unfortunately, not clearing the tables outside quickly, I noticed that pigeons come up on the tables and feast, and personally, I find that really annoying. I hope it was an oversight and not the norm.
