Totally gluten-free pastry/bakery!!!! Awesome focaccias and baked goods!!! You have to try it to believe it! The focaccia remains soft even after 2 days, I love it!!! Finally, a bakery where us poor celiacs can stock up!!!

The Melodies of Taste in Ceglie Messapica is a real delight for those with celiac disease and not only. During my vacation in the Itria Valley, I had an irresistible craving for gluten-free pasticciotto leccese, and this pastry shop exceeded all expectations. It is the only place in the area that offers gluten-free options, and I was not disappointed. In addition to sweets, they also offer delicious savory options, pizzas, focaccia, and fried foods. I took away classic leccese pasticciotti, with chocolate and with sour cherry, along with a pizza that I customized with burrata stracciata from Puglia and some single-serving desserts, including red velvet. The gluten-free bread was truly tasty. I highly recommend this pastry shop to all celiac patients in the area. The only advice is to call ahead, as they may be closed during holidays if you happen to visit during your vacation.

Very good pastry shop and bakery without gluten and lactose in Ceglie, not far from the historic center. Personally, I enjoyed the savory options more (I tried focaccia, panzerotti, and some fried croquettes). Everything was really tasty and on par with the original gluten version. The pasticciotto was the only sweet option available; it was good too, but I preferred the savory options.

I am celiac and my husband is diabetic. Since we discovered the products from Le Melodie del Gusto, we finally eat something good and genuine without losing the quality of "glutinous" products. For my husband, they make a line of sugar-free bread on request, and believe me, it’s just as good as "normal" bread. Usually, we visit Monica and David's lab on weekends, and yesterday when we found it closed, I called and they came right away to open for us (even though they were on vacation). Kindness is always top-notch, and the products are exceptional, all gluten-free and lactose-free; the crown jewel is the Pasticciotti (various flavors) and the assortment of taralli. I highly recommend that celiacs, intolerants, and everyone else go visit them.

I have a 7-year-old child who is allergic to gluten, and like every summer, we went on vacation to Puglia. This year, however, we found a pleasant surprise: "Le melodie del gusto." In Ceglie Messapica, in the province of Brindisi, this bakery with pastry shop and pasta factory has brightened my son's days. The owner, a lovely person, would let me know every day what was good, and through a message sent from the sea, she would set aside things for me. I personally tasted everything we got... panzerotti, rustic leccesi, bread, frise, fresh orecchiette, various milk biscuits, focaccia barese... the list would be endless! I have never eaten gluten-free products so good and so similar to the originals! Unfortunately, we are returning to Milan, and we will miss this place very much, but I highly recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in that area!
