In view of a romantic weekend focused on skiing, my boyfriend and I decided to rely on this hotel located in the pedestrian center of Cervinia, just a few steps from the ski lifts. The hotel is predominantly wooden, typical of mountain lodges. The structure features art inserts, as the manager produces them. Warm environment with adjustable radiators, tidy rooms with precise cleanliness, spacious wardrobe, comfortable beds but French style (2 single beds, one blanket each). The room also had an excellent view of the mountain (choice made at the time of booking). The hotel also has a ski storage facility where you can leave your belongings in total security. A minor flaw we found in our room is that the walls are not soundproof, as you can hear conversations from neighboring rooms. Excellent breakfast with a choice between sweet and savory, and there is also a small selection of gluten-free products. Lunch and dinner can also be arranged, as the hotel has a restaurant. The structure does not have private parking available, but it is possible to find free parking in the area. Very helpful and courteous staff. Unfortunately, from the time of booking until our arrival, we were not informed about the spa being under maintenance (a relevant reason why we preferred this structure over others), thus finding ourselves without a service, without compensation or possibility of being assisted in other ways. I recommend confirming before booking. Despite this inconvenience, our stay went well; I still recommend this structure to anyone who decides to spend a few days in the snow.

Beautiful and clean room. Room and common areas adorned with very particular paintings and works. It is worth noting the positive attitude towards dogs, who can enter the restaurant without any problems. The 3 stars awarded depend on two factors that are very important to us: 1. The restaurant staff is hurried, not very friendly, and sometimes annoyed. Unlike the reception staff, who are always very kind and welcoming. 2. Lactose-free breakfast: I informed them days before our arrival about this intolerance, asking if it would be possible to have some lactose-free alternatives for breakfast. The alternatives were exclusively two muffins (on the last day only one), of which I am attaching a photo on a coffee saucer to give an idea of the size. I do not expect a whole lactose-free buffet, but from a 4-star hotel, I surely expect more attention and variety in this regard. Overall, the experience was positive; I would definitely recommend it... to those without intolerances 😅 or at least, I would suggest gathering better information on the alternatives they intend to offer.

Stopped for lunch at the restaurant, well-kept and clean environment, the owner’s paintings are everywhere, a nice outdoor area, but I preferred to have lunch inside. The menu features typical dishes and there’s pizza available if you want. I ordered the gluten-free pizza, the staff is friendly, but they can't accommodate customer needs; the menu is fixed, and if you ask for a simple grilled paillard, you won’t be satisfied, as you’ll always be pushed to choose from the menu. I didn't like the gluten-free pizza; the dough was too hard, too much tomato, and little mozzarella. The regular pizzas are good, but the crust is too thick and hard. If I were to return, I would probably opt for the large salads. The prices are high, but the portions are generous. A note on the cover charge: it costs 3 euros but without a tablecloth and with paper napkins, which is too much for a 'non-existent' cover. In conclusion, I didn't have a bad experience, but I didn't feel comfortable either.
