Una experiencia muy decepcionante. Hoy llegué con mi familia. Tengo enfermedad celíaca. Pedí 2 pizzas sin gluten. La base precocinada tenía la textura de masa húmeda. Los ingredientes eran de mala calidad (aceitunas quemadas). Tomamos un par de bocados y dejamos la mayor parte en los platos. La simpática camarera se dio cuenta y preguntó si todo estaba bien; le expliqué con delicadeza que las pizzas no estaban bien (y eso era un eufemismo). En 2026 hay excelentes pizzas sin gluten. Servir estas "pizzas" de mala calidad a la gente es un insulto. Pagamos más de 20 libras, dejamos una buena propina y nunca pensamos en volver.

The servers were friendly and provided great options for all our dietary needs, including gluten free and vegetarian options. The food was excellent quality, freshly made and ready in less than ten minutes. The waiter made an effort to connect with our family, and took great care of us. He was so funny! The location was accessible and wasn’t at all crowded.

Lugar maravilloso justo en Leadenhall. La mejor pizza sin gluten y vegana que he comido. Nuestro camarero era realmente muy amable y divertido también (Ivan).

Todo, desde el momento en que entramos hasta el momento en que salimos, fue maravilloso! Tengo una alergia al gluten y el personal estaba muy enfocado en asegurarme que obtuviera lo que necesitaba❤️

La comida estaba realmente deliciosa como siempre. Normalmente también tenemos pizza sin gluten, que es muy recomendada. El servicio fue agradable y amable.

Tan reconfortante tener algo confiablemente sin gluten. Sus artículos sin gluten vienen en una pizarra negra o en una servilleta negra para que sepas que es la versión sin gluten. Se ofrecen bolas de masa y muchos tipos de pizzas sin gluten.

Hello, I have also sent this email to head office, but myself and 4 other friends visited Pizza Express at Leadenhall yesterday (20th December) and were shocked and appalled at the service and attitude of the staff. We were seated downstairs with little to no issue, as the restaurant was not even overly busy, but things went downhill from here… We were greeted by what can only be described as a ‘moody’ and ‘rude’ waitress. We eventually had our order taken after we waited for some time. We ordered normal plain dough balls and pesto loaded gluten free dough balls, and 5 pizzas as expected for 5 people, plus one dip. We also ordered 2 beers and 1 margarita cocktail. Plus water for the table. We waited a while for our drinks to arrive, and even then we received our starters before our drinks, and even no water was served to the table until we asked. We then find out, not only, there were no gluten free dough balls, but unsurprisingly, the waitress was unapologetic and offered no alternative or explanation. To make matters worse we were also then served 2 lots of dough balls (both non gluten free) plain and pesto, so what I would assume be the alternative to serving the pesto gluten free balls…. Not exactly a valid or considered swap for one person at the table that cannot consume them. For a restaurant that has a collaboration with ‘Coeliac’ it is disgraceful that this was served to the table. We did raise this with the waitress but once again, there was little to no explanation or apology. We were then served the drinks (and the water!) only when we received our pizzas (and no surprise there was no dip!), whilst the dough balls were still being eaten. All in all a bit of a joke. We were then shocked, even further, as a 6th pizza was delivered to the table…. We soon realised that the margarita cocktail order had been delivered as a margarita pizza. Someone then ordered a Diet Coke instead, and no surprise they even got that wrong… just a regular coke was served. It is absolutely laughable and beyond belief that staff and an establishment so reputable as Pizza Express can be so appalling at customer service. By far the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in the City of London. I would love to hear what the head office/ restaurant have to say about our shocking visit, for what can only be described as something out of Fawtly towers. Not only were the staff rude and unapologetic, they were clearly not trained at all and completely unaware of customer service or restaurant etiquette, as everything that possibly could go wrong did go wrong. I will not be returning to this restaurant, or any for that matter. .

Ubicado en el encantador entorno del Leadenhall Market en el corazón de la Ciudad de Londres, este restaurante ofrece, entre otras cosas, una amplia variedad de pizzas sin gluten. Así que es ideal para aquellos cuya intolerancia al gluten es un problema diario. Muy buena acogida por parte del personal, atento al cliente (soy un turista francés que no domina la lengua de Shakespeare). Gracias por este dulce momento en Pizza Express.
