Ristorante grande e carino con un servizio molto buono. La nostra cameriera era molto attenta. Pizza Express è eccellente per le persone con allergie al glutine, poiché tutte le loro pizze possono essere anche senza glutine e ci sono anche opzioni per i dessert.

Vado regolarmente al mio pizza express locale poiché sono stato recentemente diagnosticato come incapace di mangiare glutine. Purtroppo, questo pizza express è un caos. Hanno confuso senza glutine con vegano. Questo mi ha causato di passare la notte a stare malissimo. Come se non fosse già abbastanza brutto, hanno completamente sbagliato il conto e hanno avuto l'audacia di dire che era colpa nostra per aver controllato al tavolo sbagliato sull'app. Dato che ci sono stati vicino e ci hanno spiegato come farlo all'inizio del pasto, sapevano benissimo che non era così! Credo davvero che il loro personale abbia bisogno di formazione sull'importanza di comprendere le allergie, poiché è abbastanza brutto che io abbia passato la notte a perdere sangue, ma le allergie delle altre persone sono ancora più gravi!!!

I have been going to this Pizza Express for nearly 30 years, since I was a baby, in fact. I've been to many locations all over the country with all sorts of people, but frequent this one the most as it is close to my dad's family. This is fortunate, as it is the best of the best! I've never been disappointed with anything when we visit - top-notch food quality, lovely staff, beautiful aesthetic. It is the ultimate dining out experience, and we always feel welcomed, well-fed and generally satisfied. Can't recommend enough. Additionally, I have a gluten intolerance, and Pizza Express caters to this with a diverse amount of menu options whilst still maintaining fantastic taste and quality. If you are GF, it's even more appealing. Truly can't recommend it enough. Here's to another 30 years!

Un'esperienza terribile in questo ristorante. Non abbiamo ricevuto il cibo che abbiamo ordinato, c'è stata una grande confusione con il conto che inizialmente cercavano di dare la colpa a noi e poi ci hanno messo molto tempo a sistemare, quindi l'intero pasto è diventato un'incombenza. Tuttavia, il peggio è stato mescolare il cibo vegano e senza glutine, il che ha portato uno dei nostri a stare seriamente male. Devono davvero fare di meglio.

VEGANS OR ANY OTHER DIETARY REQUIREMENTS AVOID I would recommend anyone avoid to be honest because this place is dangerous. I ordered food from the vegan menu and confirmed with the staff that it definitely was vegan as I have an extreme intolerance to dairy, plus it’d be a trigger for my ulcerative colitis. As I haven’t consumed dairy in years I wasn’t aware I was until my sister said she thought she could smell (dairy) cheese. We summoned the waitress who served us and asked, and she sniggered when informing us it was dairy cheese, even beckoning over the chef and saying to him “she ate the cheese” which caused them both to smirk and find amusing. This was a vile prank which in other circumstances could prove fatal. I immediately attempted to induce a vomit, without success, and then an ambulance was called when I collapsed. I was taken away because my observations were abnormal and had become very unwell. Because I refused to pay for an expert medical report Pizza Express refused to accept any liability. It’s worrisome that this venue isn’t uncommon for hosting children’s parties, and with so many intolerances and allergies around these days it’s only a matter of time before one of their in house pranks results in a more severe adverse event than that I experienced. I attempted to resolve this amicably with Pizza Express to no avail. If this were an isolated event which was dealt with appropriately then I wouldn’t be writing this review. My experience there was starkly different to a genuine error in a Zizzi restaurant a few months prior where they took accountability and apologised. The fact the Pizza Express incident was purposeful is outrageous. Edit to add: just perused their other reviews and saw that they served a gluten pizza to a coeliac who ended up in A&E! My incident happened before theirs, so this restaurant is clearly fundamentally dangerous and utterly unwilling to learn any lessons. Obviously a pernicious food safety issue in this branch - or dare I say throughout their restaurants as it appears their head office don’t take these safety concerns seriously. With a vast choice of other chains to choose from I hope Pizza Express are given the wide berth they deserve.

Posto davvero carino. Atmosfera più piacevole rispetto alla maggior parte dei ristoranti Pizza Express. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Le opzioni di cibo senza glutine sono aumentate.

Stavo cenando con i miei 2 piccoli figli in questo ristorante e ho ordinato una pizza senza glutine poiché soffro di celiachia, e ho avuto un'intossicazione alimentare, sono finito al pronto soccorso perché mi hanno servito una pizza con glutine. È successo 3 settimane fa e non mi hanno contattato; continuo a rincorrerli ma non è successo nulla, quindi non ho altra opzione che avviare un processo legale.

We like this place a lot! The food is always top. I'm so grateful for the amount of glutenfree options and for the fact that they never disappoint! I had a pizza and it was so yummy! Their kids menu has some amazing choices too,for £6.95 you can't go wrong. My son loves the dough balls and he finished the pizza in record time! The staff were brilliant, the waiting time a bit longer,but we visited during lunch time. We will definitely visit again!
