Ristorante Osteria Del Vecchio Olivo offers a stunning location and a variety of dishes with good potential. While some details could be improved, the mixed grills and appetizers are particularly appreciated. With a few adjustments, it could become a reference destination.

Stunning location, the food isn't spectacular, perhaps it needs a bit more attention, especially regarding 'gluten-free'. The mixed grill is good. It's not among my favorite restaurants in the area, but it has potential.

I chose to celebrate my 30th birthday at the Osteria del Vecchio Olivo and I was more than satisfied. The manager was immediately present and available in choosing the menu, which initially included a selection of courses and then adapted for my guests. We had a unique menu with adjustments for me, as I am pregnant, for vegetarian guests, those with celiac disease, and lactose intolerance. Everyone was extremely happy with the menu, the attention at the table from the wait staff, and the atmosphere. I can only recommend this place, where I will definitely return both with my family and to celebrate other special events.

A restaurant absolutely to TRY! Great choice of dishes, prepared with care and top-quality ingredients. The plating was excellent, making your mouth water even if you weren't hungry. The staff was very kind and friendly, fast service, and great availability. We went as a duo with our dog, a large Bernese Mountain Dog. When we made the reservation, we asked for a little corner to avoid disturbing the other diners (even though the dog is very sweet and well-behaved) and we were given a table outside near the lawn, perfect!!! A bowl of water for our furry friend, traditional menu for my husband and gluten-free menu for me. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection, excellent quality/price ratio. An experience to repeat absolutely!

Fantastic location and fair prices. Personally, however, I did not leave completely satisfied and think that with a few more adjustments it could be a 5-star restaurant. Starters: Very good mixed crostini, slightly small portion; smoked duck breast with nuts was very good, just the right portion. First courses: leek and sausage risotto a bit watery, not enough creaminess, good taste but a bit flat (could be improved with the right cheese for creaminess), almost a large portion; good crepes; radicchio and lemon ravioli okay, nothing special. The red pizza with vegetables suffered from the common problem of not having sautéed the vegetables in the pan before assembling the pizza, except for the eggplant which seemed grilled; overall a bit lacking in flavor. Grilled cod with radicchio was very good, but had such a small portion of vegetables that they could have omitted it, and the fish wasn't much either. Good wine, desserts okay, initially slow and brusque service, but quickly recovered. We missed vegan options, and there was no mention in the menu of gluten-free products or vegetarian alternatives. For carnivores, the menu is very nice and varied, and indeed I would like to return to try other dishes that might have better execution.
