flawless restaurant in every sense, one word... Good... too bad that in such a restaurant they serve rice cakes as bread... no comment... what a shame

Elegant dinner near the walls of Lucca, with well-prepared dishes and superb presentation. The service is attentive without ever being intrusive, with perfect timing between courses and staff well-prepared to advise on wines and pairings. Prices are in line with the restaurant's level and the overall experience.

Excellent meal well worth a short walk outside of the walls with rare seafood rich menu perfectly prepared. Had tuna tartar (exceptional), grilled octopus (pulpo), caveatelli, and a shared.special Catalano dish of lobster and lagostinos ($$$$). Very good wine selection. Great service. We will be back.

Intimate...welcoming atmosphere. Refined and attentive service. Well-cooked fish dishes with unique combinations. Excellent wines. Reasonable price. I recommend the stuffed anchovies in the appetizer.

I highly recommend this seafood restaurant! The environment is well-kept and spacious, with 2 indoor dining rooms and outdoor seating; the seafood dishes are presented with attention to detail and to taste as well! The staff is very friendly! Incredible quality/price ratio. Congratulations 🍀🥰

Beautiful modern restaurant with delicious dishes and beautiful plating. Very kind, refined, and quick service.

Great place just outside the walls. We went there for lunch and were very surprised. Great value for money.

Excellent restaurant for fish. The place is located near the city walls and is welcoming and well-maintained. The staff is pleasant and knows how to make you feel at ease. I think it is one of the best restaurants in Lucca, the food is excellent, well prepared and nicely presented, correct and kind service, prices aligned with similar establishments.

Elegant restaurant with adequate service, albeit kind of slow and disorganised. It’s mostly a fish restaurant where they offer one vegan starter and one main course, both looking good, but missing character. The risotto was particularly bland, a parmesan crouton would have added some punch. Dessert was good. Major minus point, we were bothered by several fruit flies or midges that ended up in the wine and over the bread. We spent more or less 30€ each. I would recommend only if you like fish and don’t mind small insects.

I had dinner for 1. When I arrived, I was quickly seated, although I was left waiting for a long time. After that, I ordered a glass of red wine, which unfortunately came with 5 FLIES INSIDE, one of which I accidentally swallowed. When I asked for a replacement, a new glass was served, this time with only ONE FLY. The second replacement had no flies inside, as the bottle was opened at the table. I ordered a sea bass cooked in a mound of salt. It was very good, being cooked to a perfect temperature. Side veggies were excellent, although the overall dish was a bit empty. I didn't order dessert, but they surprised me with a lemon sorbet, which was delicious. Could have been a fantastic meal, spoiled only by the FLIES. Note that the restaurant was quite infested, with tiny, small, medium and large flies making frequent appearances during my meal - see photos.

Food was ok. My brother's dish was to come with lobster and we were very surprised by the half portion of a small lobster that he received. My sea bass filet was small and I found a couple of bones in it. The seafood starter was good. The service was top self. They accommodated our group of 5 adults with no problem. We finished off with a very tasty desert.

Good service with friendly and helpful staff. We had lunch in a group and the menu was chosen by a travel agency, so it's hard to comment on the total cost and the variety offered by the menu. I recommend the lemon tagliolini; really good fresh pasta (I managed to eat almost 2 plates, thanks to a group member who only ate half). Available, if notified in advance, in case of food intolerances.

I went to dinner at this restaurant for a bachelorette party, a very quiet and refined evening, given the beautiful environment in which we dined. The place is elegant and very nice, we dined at a large round table, very comfortable. Excellent food, although perhaps the portions of the appetizers were a bit small, but we still ate very well, pairing the meal with a great white wine. Impeccable service, although perhaps a bit "serious" for my taste, but definitely in line with the surrounding atmosphere. The bill might have been a bit too steep, but it’s true that we are talking about fish, and when it’s of good quality, you pay for it. The quality, however, is noticeable! I don’t think I would go back, because it's not quite my style, but for an evening it was really very pleasant.

We didn't go to the restaurant, but we had an aperitif on the veranda. The place is very nice and quiet. The drinks we had were excellent and the charcuterie board was rich with a bit of everything, from cheese to olives, including crispy focaccia and cured meats.

He has never disappointed me! Elegant, sober, welcoming, professional environment. Suitable for business lunches. Excellent quality/price ratio. Very well-prepared dishes, excellent quality of food.

Quality/price ratio barely acceptable: tough and stale bread, good appetizer, ordinary first course with undercooked pasta, good dessert. Medium-level wine by the glass. Slow service. Three courses then, without coffee or anything else, for about 35 euros.

I want to start by saying that I only went for lunch and the place might be more charming in the evening, but it was a wonderful surprise. At lunch, they offer an excellent fixed menu; I had a raw fish dish and for the second course, a sea bass roll with a flan of green beans. With water, wine, and coffee, the astonishing price was only 20 euros. The place is beautiful, among the historic venues of Lucca, the staff is friendly, and the timing was perfect. The food is excellent. In the evening, the menu is Ă la carte. Congratulations on the excellent management.

Ristorante Celide is always a wonderful experience for those who want to enjoy an excellent seafood dinner near the historical center of Lucca. The place is very elegant and well-kept, located right in front of the city walls. The menu is varied and refined, offering different options beyond classic seafood dishes. In the photos, you can see the cacio e pepe risotto with sea urchin, grilled cod with vegetables, and the berry cheesecake. As always, quality comes at a price, so expect around €50 per person for a full dinner with a glass of wine, but it's worth it for the place and the level of food. Recommended!

The restaurant is very nice, perfect for a couple's dinner, a business dinner, or a dinner with friends. At the beginning of the evening, you are welcomed with a little appetizer. The staff is very welcoming and also explains the dishes you have ordered. The menu is mainly seafood with refined combinations....everything is very good. The location is very close to Villa Gentucca, Elisa, and Lucrezia for those who decide to stay there. I highly recommend it.

Great restaurant with excellent service. Fair value for money. I recommend it for intimate dinners and family gatherings.

An elegant location situated just outside the walls. Careful service and cleanliness. Various fish dishes, very well cooked. I opted for chickpea gnocchi with prawns and a mixed grill. I believe it's better to make a reservation as I noticed a good turnout. I went there on a Friday at 1 PM and parking was not a problem.

I often go there in pairs, the atmosphere is nice, the wine list is excellent. Among my favorite dishes are the sashimi, the scallops, and the sole. I rarely order anything different because these dishes leave me in ecstasy. Compliments!

Good restaurant, outside the walls. Prompt service and refined dishes. It was a business dinner with a fixed menu, so I can't comment on the quantity of the dishes offered and the price. The environment is nice. A bit out of the historic center but reachable in 10 minutes on foot from the train station.

Really well-crafted gourmet dishes, impeccable service. We were welcomed with a prosecco to ease the wait. Accompanied to the table, we were quickly reached by the waiter who served us. Refined tastes, unique flavors. Impeccable service also from the sommelier. At the end of the dinner, we were offered sorbet. I recommend it for a romantic dinner with soft lighting.
