discovered by pure chance, although the location I saw is at Via Sandro Pertini 7 in Santa Maria degli Angeli. Anyway, I just wanted a coffee and then I found the wonder of the AIC logo. They have many semifreddo desserts, all gluten-free. P.S. They are also very good 🙂 and reasonably priced at 3.50 per single portion.

A really beautiful and welcoming place. The ice creams are SPECTACULAR. So many great non-dairy flavors, perfect for those like me who are lactose intolerant. Huge portions, the cone is crunchy like never before! Highly recommended!

One of the best ice cream parlors I have ever tried, a paradise especially for celiacs as all flavors and cones are gluten-free and some are also lactose-free. Nice place, easily reachable, and very kind staff. Highly recommended👍🏻

Entering Gelateria Demetra, from the very first time, you can feel the passion and love dedicated to the preparation of the products (ice creams, sorbets, semi-freddo frappés, ice lollies, spreads, chocolates, panettone with ice cream…).🍦 The attention and care in choosing Italian products (regional when possible), seasonal and of excellent quality combined with the preparation method create a product like no other. The vast majority of ice cream shops have flavors that are too sweet, cloying, and heavy. At Demetra, I found ice cream made using natural ingredients and without preservatives/stabilizers. Just like the sorbets where you can truly taste the ingredients, astounding! I love pistachio ice cream, which is truly difficult to find; this flavor is really made with pistachios and its authentic color! There are both classic flavors (pistachio, hazelnut, cream, chocolate…) and more unique flavors like “in front of the fireplace,” mango, professor’s coffee, blueberry “in front of the air conditioner”…. To enhance everything, there are “vegan” gluten-free flavors, complete with a cone! The owner, Luca, is really kind and tries to meet the customers' needs. Recently, he won, ranking first in the regional semifinals of the 6 Gelato Masters made it to the Italian with the flavor “In front of the fireplace” that you can also taste in the gelateria!!! He was also selected among the 37 best international gelato makers participating in the “Sherbeth2022” competition.
