Very nice place in the historic center of Lecce but a bit out of the hustle and bustle. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Christian and Benny took good care of us and noted my intolerances. The pizza was amazing! Very light and well-risen dough with sweet and delicate prosciutto. Service was super fast. Too bad it's our last evening in Lecce otherwise we would have come back. Well done!

Great dough, I must say I don't feel bloated. For the rest, it keeps getting worse. We sat down at 8:45 PM, ordered at 9 PM, and left the place at 11 PM! Then, the number of drinks that arrived was incorrect, although we kept them. Moving on to the pizzas, it was a disaster: a pizza with mozzarella when the boy had made it clear several times that he was lactose intolerant. They wanted to kill him, in short ☺️. A wiener and fries pizza arrived for no reason when the ordered pizza was only wiener; luckily it was easy to fix, so they just removed the fries. For the sausage and fries pizza, they added mushrooms, probably because the pizzaiolo liked them or maybe they were leftover. A girl had ordered a Margherita, which arrived after 2 hours, and she ate it alone because after 2 hours, who was still eating? Honest price. The place was slightly chaotic. Anyway, thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Gluten-free pizza was awful with too much raw sauce and hard mozzarella that seemed old. Even the regular pizzas were not liked...too much sauce. The only good thing was the Chips😄

Terrible experience... the pizzas were undercooked and poorly topped. Exaggerated costs. Gluten-free cuisine was sloppy with frozen and pre-packaged pizza bases. Never again.

If you're sensitive to gluten or have an allergy to gluten and craving pizza within the historical center of Lecce then I highly recommend La Scala. Reasonable prices and an excellent meal. Friendly service :)
