It was our first time eating at this place. It was a little difficult finding the door for the main eating area. The food was very good (gluten free option) and the two young ladies serving us were very nice. To pay for our meal we had to leave the main eating area go outside and then pay at the fast food pickup area.

Unbeatable when it comes to gluten-free options, we live in Monza and despite the endless choices in the Milan hinterland, this place is a must-stop every time we go to Lecce because it is unmatched in terms of variety, flavors, prices, and friendliness. The staff is very nice and super helpful, special mention to Lorenzo for his attentiveness to customers. The owner is always kind and attentive. We highly recommend the fried calzone and the half pizza, which you wouldn’t even realize is gluten-free if they didn't tell you. Highly, highly, highly recommended. We don't usually write reviews, but this place truly deserves it.

The food is really excellent and well-priced. The ordering service is well organized to reduce waiting times. The food is generous in both quantity and quality (fried calzones stuffed to the brim with tomato and mozzarella). Furthermore, the menu is fully accessible to people with celiac disease. Truly a positive experience.

Great place to spend an evening with friends. The manager is a wonderful person; everyone should be like that. The food is excellent and satisfies everyone. As a celiac, I can say that I was able to enjoy a delicious pizza and a wonderful calzone. We will return next week to have them prepare our packed lunch for the trip back.

I brought my friends to Zio Giglio because I eat gluten-free and, as I had been told, the pizzas were very good. Everyone enjoyed them. The guys serving were sociable and very nice. The only flaw was the small paper placemats (with a very convenient printed menu) that didn't cover the seating area where you eat. I would have preferred a paper tablecloth as well. It would have made the room more welcoming.

Cozy pizzeria with many varieties (including gluten-free - SERIOUS!). The spaces are not large, but they are certainly well managed. Fast service, even for takeout. The ideal place to eat a good and especially DIGESTIBLE pizza! I have never had problems: the quality ingredients and excellent cooking make it a special pizza. The rotisserie counter is always well-stocked (there's also a gluten-free version for the rotisserie) and a good selection of beers.

Delicious pizza, impeccable service, and the atmosphere is created by the people who work there (and the customers too). Giuseppe is super nice and very attentive to details, in addition to having a heart as big as a house! Samuel is fantastic, he really knows how to make everyone happy! I ordered a gluten-free pizza that was inedible, poorly cooked and stiff; I sent it back and they kindly made me another one. The second one arrived and was so hard that I couldn't chew it, and the mozzarella was the same, inedible; I don't know what they could have used. I strongly advise against it. Inedible pizzas, and one was still paid for.

Really excellent pizzeria, fresh and delicious food, friendly service, even the owner serves at the tables (rarely happens) and gives advice on every dish, plus he is super nice. The only downside is that the place is small and seats fill up quickly. Important note, they have a whole menu for gluten-free options, not just a few items, but A COMPLETE GLUTEN-FREE MENU, from food to drinks. Highly recommended👍

Great both the gluten-free pizza (a pioneer in this field, Uncle Giglio! always brilliant!), and the fried snacks, tasty and light (you can feel it on your palate right away, but also later on digestion, as he often changes the oil in which he fries, unlike others who fry in 10W40 for cars....). The staff is fantastic, many guys working with passion and always with a smile on their faces, which makes the customer feel good, in addition to making them feel almost at home. The location, essential and spartan, is a bit 'uncomfortable' (especially perhaps for the residents living above?), but the positive aspects mentioned earlier make you forget about it. Oh: excellent organization also in table reservations, in the double shift on Saturdays, and in the practical management of any 'unexpected events.' A must-try.

The experience was very positive; we found a place for 4 people even though we called on a Saturday at 9 PM. The pizzas are good, they also make them gluten-free (the same for the sandwiches) and they claimed to produce them in-house, without purchasing them externally. The prices are low compared to other pizzerias visited. I recommend it!

Uncle Giglio immediately made my kids feel at home... the little one, who is celiac, was excited to finally find a place where he could eat gluten-free everything on the menu. As a celiac customer, I can only say that it's the place where for the first time in many years I didn't feel 'discriminated'... A wide selection of gluten-free pizzas, appetizers, and desserts, not to mention the beers; besides the conventional ones on the menu, there are some craft beers with excellent taste. Personally, I appreciated the professionalism of the waiters, the smile of those who love their job and do it with pleasure... As for the owner, what can I say... Spartan place, but when you find kindness and availability, it almost feels like being at home with friends even on your first visit. We had dinner for 8 last night, excellent welcome, we ordered gluten-free fried food, pizzas, and calzones, everything very light and tasty. The staff was very helpful, especially the owner who at the end of the dinner chatted with us and offered us a digestif. Prices more than honest, we were pleasantly surprised. We have a celiac girl in our group, we were looking for a pizzeria for celiacs, a bit scared from a previous experience we approached with caution. Everything was fantastic. I went to this pizzeria with a celiac friend and we both had gluten-free pizza. It was delicious, nothing to envy about the classic one. The dough was good and the toppings were unique. We also really enjoyed the gluten-free desserts, especially the classic pasticciotto from Lecce. Located in a slightly hidden area of Lecce, the pizzeria features a very rustic interior with the option to dine outside. The pizza, as well as the appetizers, are of EXCELLENT quality and gluten-free options are also available. (In particular, the gluten-free pizza was very good.) Low prices (2 beers, fried appetizer, fries, and two pizzas for €33). Very friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
