The first place in Lecce to offer gluten-free options. An institution. Family management and a menu entirely in dialect complete the experience.

I returned for the second time to this restaurant and once again I was thrilled. The cuisine, typical and genuine, is cared for in detail and surprises with the quality and delicacy of the flavors: the zucchini flowers, in particular, are a true masterpiece of taste. There is a real Salento atmosphere, reflected both in the dishes and in the hospitality, making the experience authentic and unforgettable. One aspect that deserves to be emphasized is the great attention to gluten-free options: the organization is impeccable and conveys safety, allowing one to enjoy each course in total tranquility. The service is equally special: friendly, attentive, and always available staff, able to combine professionalism and friendliness in a natural way. A place that knows how to combine typical cuisine, care for the customer, and Salento warmth: truly highly recommended!

Unforgettable dinner among friends – Trattoria Fiori di Zucca, Lecce One of those evenings you'll remember for a long, long time. We visited this trattoria with a group of friends and we can say it without hesitation: a super successful evening from every point of view! As soon as we entered, we felt at home. The environment is simple yet well-maintained, with an authentic and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for dinner among friends. The staff was very kind, warm, and always available, with a smile and a ready joke, making everything even more enjoyable. 🍽 The food? A real pleasure. We started with a selection of local appetizers: grilled vegetables, fried zucchini flowers (also gluten-free, perfect!), typical cheeses, and cold cuts. Then the first courses from the Salentine tradition: some had sagne ’ncannulate with sauce, others chose ciceri and tria, and some had pezzetti di cavallo. Everything was served hot, plentiful, and with bold yet balanced flavors. The second courses didn’t lack — meatballs in sauce, rolled meats, ‘nfucate turnips — and of course the homemade desserts: the panna cotta won over them all. 🍷 House wine and lots of laughter We paired everything with an excellent house wine and, between toasts and chats, the evening flew by. The bill? Very honest, especially considering the quality, quantity, and hospitality received. ✅ In short: • ✅ Authentic, plentiful, and delicious food • ✅ Simple, genuine, and welcoming place • ✅ Attentive, friendly, and family-like service • ✅ More than fair price • ✅ Perfect for celiacs as well We’ll definitely return. In fact: we’ll come back all together. Because evenings like this remind you how nice it is to share a good meal with those who make you feel good.

We had lunch at this restaurant that offers typical Lecce cuisine. We started our meal with gluten-free fried snacks and mixed vegetables, needless to say they were delicious. Additionally, we decided to order the gluten-free fried zucchini flowers and understood why the place is named after this dish; they were spectacular. Continuing, we had two first courses, which were also of excellent quality. The service was outstanding, with great attention to customers, especially regarding allergies. Highly recommended, especially for people with celiac disease. Congratulations.

We were there in December 2024, excellent venue, a nice discovery: friendly and very helpful staff (requests, space for strollers, etc.) and traditional cuisine really well conceived and well executed. Very good and well-crafted seasonal dishes that pay homage to our glorious culinary past. A rich gluten-free menu, from pasta to desserts. Good wines and a soft, warm, and traditional atmosphere. Charming and helpful owner, a guarantee of good taste and attention to traditions without neglecting the details... We look forward to returning with pleasure!

Five stars deserved, excellent service, fast and friendly. The only downside is the totally confusing menu in the Apulian dialect. Baked mussels, calamarata and fried squid all gluten-free and EXCELLENT!

A very pleasant evening to celebrate an important milestone. Excellent gluten-free dishes. I really enjoyed the marinated anchovies and the many dishes of the Salento tradition. The atmosphere was very well taken care of and the background music was beautiful.

Despite its not very central location, it is definitely a place not to be missed! We tried this spot driven by numerous reviews and it absolutely did not disappoint our expectations, quite the opposite! It has been certified since 2008 and the attention to detail is truly maximum. The entire menu can be made gluten-free, including the fried items (which are fried in fresh oil every time!!!). We tried the house appetizer, super abundant, with 3 types of vegetables, pittule, and croquettes… of course gluten-free and I've never tasted fried food like this! We then had two pasta dishes, both of which were delicious, and a dessert made of almond paste. Excellent value for money! Definitely recommended if you find yourself in Lecce, it makes you feel right at home!

Perfect place to savor the tastes and flavors of traditional Salento cuisine, suitable for everyone, including those with celiac disease. I went there many years ago and discovered a trattoria with the flavors of home and family. The dishes are rich and tasty (especially the traditional ones). I returned and recommended it to several colleagues who were in the area on business... From Trentino to Bologna, they fell madly in love with the "ciciri e tria" and their zucchini flowers. The quality-price ratio is average, and the service is well managed, prepared, and courteous.

Great typical restaurant

Located on the outskirts of Lecce, easy parking. Restaurant with a wide range of gluten-free products, from bread to various fried foods. Good appetizers, decent main courses but nothing spectacular. It's a shame that the service left much to be desired; we arrived and were initially served quickly, but after the first course, we had ordered a grilled dish. After waiting an hour, we mentioned this to the waiter, who said that the order hadn’t been processed. How can you completely forget a table and let so much time pass between courses? We asked to cancel the order and only have a slice of pineapple. After another fifteen minutes of waiting, we decided to cancel the pineapple too and left. The restaurant consists of tables on a veranda, inside, and outside right at the entrance. When we left, we noticed that the tables on the veranda, where we were, had been completely abandoned and the service was only focused on the outside tables. Overall, I cannot recommend this place, both for the poor service and because the food is good but nothing exceptional to justify the wait time.

We visited this Trattoria on a late August evening in 2021. We chose to try it because of the excellent reviews and the particular attention the restaurant paid to gluten-free options. Well, not only were the excellent reviews confirmed, but as a person from Puglia, I can say they were exceeded. In fact, especially the traditional cuisine is perfectly recreated, and tasting it made me feel like I was reminiscing about the times when certain dishes were prepared for me by my grandmother. All preparations are also offered in a gluten-free variant without losing any quality. The fried food and gluten-free gnocchi were excellent. We will definitely return.

What a restaurant! Menu written in dialect, and the opportunity to taste all the typical Apulian dishes in a gluten-free version, and what can I say, delicious! I had a fried dish and then Fave and cicoria. Everything was top-notch!

Great local cuisine with traditional Salento dishes. Suitable for celiacs as there are alternatives from appetizer to dessert. The menu is written entirely in dialect, perhaps a translation into standard Italian wouldn't hurt...
