Negative experience. My partner and I had a reservation at 9:00 PM. Upon arrival (5 minutes early), we were told we would have to wait because all the tables were occupied. After us, more people arrived who had also made reservations for the same time and were treated poorly by one of the employees, who claimed that it was normal to wait since they reach maximum capacity in no time. This is a completely unreasonable response because if a restaurant accepts reservations, it must guarantee the timing. Once seated, we were greeted by rushed, inattentive, and rude service. They didn’t even ask what kind of water we wanted, they just slammed a bottle of still water on the table. We ordered after a long wait. We wanted to have the house wine, but were told it was only available by the glass (for no understandable reason), so we opted for a bottle. As for the food, the appetizer (sarde beccafico) was good and the busiate allo scoglio were excellent, but then came the bitter note. We ordered a mixed fried dish which, while good, was ridiculously small: composed of 4 shrimp and literally 6 calamari and two tentacles (for the modest price of 20 euros). Additionally, the grouper ravioli arrived with a sauce that was clearly full of cream (not mentioned and I am lactose intolerant) and laden with pistachios (not indicated). The bill was fair, but for my part, given the welcome and the only average quality of the dishes, it is not a place I would recommend. Such a shame.
