I usually don't leave negative reviews but I feel like the reviews written here are a bit too positive. The service is friendly, the raw materials are good, they try to give you an uncontaminated product, which is not for everyone. The only flaw is that I ordered a gluten-free puccia but it was actually a sandwich, good but still a sandwich with pork, shredded meat, arugula, and sun-dried tomatoes. Another negative point is that instead of stracciatella, they put mozzarella.

I cannot honestly claim that these are the best pucce I've ever had in Polignano, nor that this is the most comfortable place (even though it does have spacious tables with various chairs, it tends to be quite busy and bustling with customers). However: - you are in one of the most important and lively crossroads of Polignano, near Piazza Fulvia M.P.; - you can find numerous flavors and delicious combinations; - it's one of the few places where gluten-free pucce and lactose-free ingredients are available; - they speak the most common languages reasonably well; - last but not least, the staff has always been patient, helpful, welcoming, and quick; thus, professional at all hours. This especially applies to the girl, to whom I must express a sincere note of praise, as she has always been smiling, sunny, and welcoming in all instances I approached them, even just for a quick bottled beer on the go. Sometimes, those rare times I would say, a genuine, energetic, and energizing smile is worth more than any other need or service. And I challenge anyone to find such a smile even at the end of a workday!
