At the Loggia dei Cereali, we are "almost" at home. Last night I wanted to bring a group of friends, especially to showcase the variety of pizza doughs, also because one of the girls is intolerant to wheat and lactose. Everyone was very satisfied with both the pizza, which was very good and light, and the vegetarian dish. I had ordered the millet dough, but after being informed by the waiter that it was unavailable, I opted for the wholemeal one, which was very good, crumbly, and light. And here comes the sore point. We ordered desserts by consulting the menu. We opted for a "Tenerina", a mango sorbet, and two deconstructed millefoglie with mango cream, strawberries, and mixed berries as garnishing. The "Tenerina" was very good. The sorbet in a spoon, I had to ask if they could kindly microwave it for a few seconds, as it was so frozen. The two millefoglie were anything but what the menu described. What saddened me was not being informed that the mango cream was not available and would be replaced with chantilly cream. But then the absence of strawberries and mixed berries... To avoid making them redo it, one was eaten as it was, without garnishing and with the different cream, while the other was left untouched on the plate. However, what honors the owner is that when it came time to pay the bill, she understood the "little incident", if we may call it that, giving us an additional discount and offering us an excellent black soul. For this reason, I think it deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ah, I almost forgot: the environment is very nice, well-kept in detail and not at all noisy. The outdoor area, where you can eat under the large porch, is also very welcoming. We will definitely return. Recommendation.

Just had a fabulous margherita, very tasty, yummy and lightweight. No feeling of bloating thanks to gluten free yet I didn't have to sacrifice taste. Cooked perfectly. The mozzarella cheese was also quite tasty, despite I am not a lover of cooked mozzarella cheese. The outside dineing area is also quite charming. Spent euro 5.50 (aud 9) against the usual aud 25 back home!
