Good gluten free croissants/cornettos, and wife range of other gluten free pastries. There is a whole separate gluten free display, with loads of pastry options. Very friendly staff and a pretty cheap breakfast. Definitely worth the 30 minute walk from Ortigia.

This place is amazing. Run don’t walk. Seriously the gluten free pastry’s are incredible. The Arancini is to die for. I have been twice in one day and will be rolling back to the UK by the end of this trip as we are planning to visit multiple times before leaving. The 30 minute walk from our hotel in Ortigia is 100% worth it. On a Saturday night they open for pizza and arancini takeaway only. The pizza is out of this world. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH ITS INCREDIBLE!!!

Saying that it's the best bar in Syracuse is an understatement. For me, this is one of the best bars in Italy. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they have a wide selection of gluten-free products that are truly comparable to their gluten-containing counterparts. I spent a vacation in Syracuse and every morning I went there for breakfast, and then grabbed many savory gluten-free products to take away for lunch. Highly, highly, highly recommended. I wish there were places like this in Friuli... when I return to Sicily, this stop is definitely a must ❤️

Amazing gluten free baked goods! Probably the best gluten free pastries I have ever. The owner says they have been making gluten free baked goods for approximately 20 years, and they were the first to make gluten free baked goods in Siracuse. One hundred prosent recommend anyone with a gluten free diet to stop by here!

What can I say, the owners are wonderful and available. Everything is gluten-free. Everything is excellent. We had handmade pizzas, arancini, and then the owner surprised me with focaccia. Thank you from the heart!

The best bar in the area, located in the central part of Syracuse where you can find various types of sweet and savory breakfasts, as well as the house specialty of gluten-free sweet and savory dishes, along with wonderful cakes made by specialized staff. There’s a large veranda for outdoor breakfast with quality and fast, qualified service. Highly recommended.

While visiting Syracuse for leisure, intrigued by the reviews, we purposely went to Bar Milano. We tried breakfast with my family, everything was good, but the fantastic thing is that they have a wide variety of gluten-free options, both sweet and savory; my daughter, who is celiac, really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. It will be a regular stop every time we find ourselves in Syracuse.

An amazing place. Being celiac in this magical place is strangely not a hindrance, the owner is very kind and super empathetic. One evening while wandering around Syracuse with my boyfriend, we stumbled upon this bar because I found it listed as "gluten free". The owner was closing early because he had run out of everything, but in a super kind way, he offered to cook me something quickly, and as if we had known each other for a lifetime, he welcomed us. I then returned a few days later to taste his delicacies, finding a very kind lady, the owner’s mother, and thankfully I came back because I ate the best arancino I have ever tasted, not to mention the desserts which are absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to return to Syracuse.

The first bar equipped for celiacs and lactose intolerant individuals, registered with AIC, that I've found after 27 years. Finally, I can sit at a table like everyone else and eat hot meals, bread, breakfast, or a brioche with slush, all delicious! Especially the very kind and always smiling staff!

Bar certified AIC, not too large, with tables outside and various gluten-free products offered at a counter separate from other gluten-containing foods. There are both sweet and savory products, although at 9:30 in the morning I didn't find a wide variety, particularly in the savory section. I had a doughnut with sugar which wasn't bad. It's a pity they didn't have fresh juices.
