As a supplì lover, I definitely approve theirs. It’s served super hot and the ragú is really good. I’ll come back for this for sure. For the pizza (classic bianca), the combination of flavors of La Romana is great. It was surprisingly not overwhelmingly salty as I expected given the toppings. However, I’m quite disappointed with the quality of the base - it was inconsistently cooked because some parts were burnt while some parts were not well-done.

It was a 5 for the welcome waitress, but definitely not for someone in their forties. So we start from 5 - 1 because when she leads us to the table in the left room, we ask about the right room, and she responds with a somewhat annoyed tone, 'But we need to see if there’s space'... I mean, we made a reservation, what kind of response is that? Then she takes us to the table because, obviously, there was space in the right room for the two of us. My partner wanted to sit on the left side, but NO because then the two chairs are blocked. Obviously, she left and took the seat she wanted... especially since maybe they would have blocked it if three people had occupied the table, but instead, two people with a baby arrived. So we’re at 3 - 1 for the rush she put us in to order—after all, we went out for a night at the restaurant, not a food marathon. The owner was kind and correct; he gave us the receipt even though it was paid in cash. But the staff representing the place needs to be selected from professionals, not amateurs, because people won’t return if they remember such a welcome.

We booked for yesterday, Sunday evening: initially, we were supposed to be 4 plus a little dog, at the last minute we called to add another 4 people (with a stroller), they were very kind and reserved a secluded table for us to keep our little dog calm as we requested… from the very beginning they made a good impression on us. We ordered 4 meat menus and 4 pizza menus: I can only say that the appetizers from the two menus were so abundant that we thought they had made a mistake, bringing us more than expected, but it was all correct, really appreciated. The appetizers were delicious, perfectly fried, really great, especially the olive ascolane and the fried scamorzine, even the fries were excellent. Subsequently, the pizzas arrived (two gluten-containing and two gluten-free and lactose-free), what can I say, they were wonderful!! Really well-seasoned, perfect dough, just the right size… the gluten-free ones had nothing to envy to the regular ones. The meat also looked beautiful, served very well and visibly tender. Unfortunately, we arrived too full for dessert, we ordered only one tiramisu, which I personally didn’t taste but it looked delicious. Next time we will make sure to try them. In the end, as a group of 8, we ate very well in terms of both quantity and especially quality, spending around thirty euros each (between menus, various waters, beers, one dessert, 7 coffees), I assure you we left feeling too full. The staff was friendly and attentive, always available, very nice girls. We will definitely come back, well done!

An experience that can only be described as wonderful. Starting with the kind and helpful staff from the phone reservation. First experience in a gluten-free establishment, as I recently discovered my celiac disease. Truly fantastic, even for the selection of foods with gluten. It allows you to spend an evening with non-celiac people. Exquisite food. Pizza and sandwiches really good. Even the dessert, made by them, was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend it.

Overall, this was a very tasty senza glutine pizza place. The impasto had a very crispy bottom and a very thin light fluffy top and was a Roman style pizza. The suppli with ricotta and spinaci was just a fried ball of ricotta with a few boiled spinach leaves, but the breading for the fry was good. For dolci, we had a Maxibon and a millefoglie that were both very tasty. I would recommend this place, BUT my celiac girlfriend did not feel well for maybe nine hours the next day and thinks there must have been some contamination at the restaurant unfortunately. She's willing to try again though in case it was perhaps something else she ate

I have known the pizzeria for years and I have always liked it, but I won't order takeout pizza anymore. It wasn't risen properly and tasted burnt (due to the black char underneath), and it was too expensive... 19 euros for a buffalo and a porcini seems excessive for takeout. I hope they change the pizzaiolo if they don't want to lose more customers.

We visited this restaurant a few evenings ago, and we had a wonderful time! Very varied menu, kind staff, and quick service.. you can't ask for more! They also have two fixed price menus, one that includes an appetizer and pizza and one with an appetizer and meat. We opted for the pizza, and it was fantastic! We will definitely come back.

My FIRST gluten-free ROMAN pizza! I must admit I didn't have such high expectations, but I changed my mind! A very wide menu of pizzas to choose from, and they also offer Roman pinsa. The only thing to improve is the fried items, too greasy for my taste.

The venue can be reached by traveling along Via Anagnina, one of the main streets in the outskirts of Rome. Once you take a side street off the main road, you won’t have any trouble reaching Gustoso. Unfortunately, the establishment does not have private parking for customers, but being in a residential neighborhood, you can leave your car near the venue or on the side of the road, or even in free parking spots on nearby streets. Once inside, you'll encounter a relaxed, yet well-kept environment, characterized by some nice details (like neon lights, a faux-wood counter, and lanterns) and cleanliness. I found the wooden chairs with straw seats a bit uncomfortable, but nothing shocking. The menu ranges from pizza to sandwiches and first courses (I can’t remember if there are second courses too). The staff and service are casual but not too much (which is fine), professional, quick, and precise. The timing was great! I opted for some fried items (supplì, croquettes, cheese croquettes, olives all’ascolana, and battered scamorza): these were crunchy, well-fried, and not oily at all. Nothing that amazed me, but very good products. Especially the battered and fried scamorza, that was really delicious. The bruschetta, however, didn’t impress me at all. A bit mediocre. We waited just the cooking time; they are very well organized for everything else. Going without a reservation can be risky.

This is now my favorite pizzeria. The pizzas are light, there is a choice both with gluten and without, and you can choose between pinsa and Roman pizza. In this restaurant, there's plenty of creativity and kindness, plus the prices are reasonable for a place that makes all gluten-free fried foods and pizzas for everyone (there's even a deal for a gluten-free pizza of your choice + a mix of fried food including supplì, potato croquettes, ricotta and spinach croquettes, fried mozzarella, ascolana olives, and bruschetta for about 17/18 euros). Moreover, there are homemade desserts, always gluten-free, which are quite special: you can even customize an ice cream at the table (like at the Magnum store but at a lower price). Highly recommended.

We came to this place because I was looking for one that prepares pizza and other gluten-free dishes, having a friend who is intolerant... Encouraged by the positive reviews, we wanted to try it. The venue has several spacious rooms, simply furnished with white wooden tables and chairs. We all ordered pizza; one gluten-free, two pinse, and I had a Roman pizza with wholemeal dough, the vegetarian one! Preceded by their very good supplì, and so were the pizzas.... The desserts, all made by them and gluten-free, were no less impressive; I was particularly struck by their coffee, which I usually never order in restaurants because it’s never good, this, however, was a hundred percent Arabica capsule coffee with an excellent taste, and they also offer various flavored options... I must say it was a great experience, and I would return, especially because the staff was very quick and professional!

A great discovery, a very nice place, excellent staff, really friendly and knowledgeable. The food is very good, at least for what I tried. The bruschetta with ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, and arugula was really delightful, served with homemade bread. The nduja supplì was tasty and had a perfect coating. The Roman pizza had excellent dough, with the right quantity and quality of ingredients. The black mulberry sorbet was very tasty and refreshing, and the apple pie with ice cream was amazing! The selection of craft beers was also good. A place attentive and suitable for any dietary needs, especially for gluten-free options! I will return soon.

We went last night, July 16, for dinner for the first time, booking the table by phone on Tuesday after reading many reviews suggesting to book since the place is always full. From the fried dishes and bruschetta, all gluten-free, to the spectacular pizza and first courses (ravioli filled with cacio e pepe alla Gricia and carbonara), ending with desserts, all prepared by the chef, we were pleasantly surprised. The kindness of the waiters, especially Gabriele, completes the picture of a perfect dinner. We will return soon to try the other offerings from the chef, which are surely excellent!

The best gluten-free restaurant/pizzeria! The place is really lovely, with the option to eat both indoors and outdoors. There is a wide selection of menus, not only for celiacs and lactose intolerant. We had some truly fabulous gluten-free pizzas. Very digestible, despite being enormous. But looking around, the other dishes also seemed absolutely delicious!!!! And the desserts... spectacular! You absolutely must save some space to taste them because it’s really worth it! Last but not least, the staff: extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Congratulations to the entire staff, especially to Chef Fabrizio and waiter Gabriele, who described the dishes with such great passion that it made us imagine their flavor (we would have tried everything!!!!), and who, in response to our compliments, always highlighted the chef's merit, making us feel like part of a big family. Unfortunately, we live far away, but we will definitely come back here, even if it's just to eat at this place. Highly recommended!!!!!

The reason for the 3 stars is not due to the venue or the organization, but to the pizzas. As for the gluten-free option, I feel it's among the best I've tried. However, regarding the regular pizza (with gluten), specifically a focaccia base pizza, it was one of the worst. It might have been a case, but for my wife who is intolerant to milk and dairy products, it's a downside.

Gluten Free Friendly Pizzeria Restaurant. It is a paradise, for the vastness of choice, for those with celiac disease. Double kitchen and double oven, both separate, to avoid contamination. For the pizza, one should not expect the Neapolitan style, nor Roman or Milanese. It has a completely different dough and preparation, very crunchy and thin, but overall good and digestible. Excellent desserts and fair prices for the type of place. Definitely recommended. I only suggest changing the lights in one of the 3 rooms because they are very warm and strong, and for those who are photosensitive, it can be quite bothersome.

Really everything is excellent, a paradise even for those who are unlucky enough to be celiac and also have a lactose intolerance, from appetizers to dessert, including gluten-free pizzas with lactose-free mozzarella options. My friends who have no dietary restrictions were also very satisfied. The only drawback? Unfortunately for me, it is on the other side of Rome; I will make sure to stop by when I find myself in the area.

The supplì are fantastic, both the simple ones and those with andouille.. Very thin and delicate pizza.. A true gem is the grandmother's cake.... Quick and friendly service...

Very nice place with good products. The gluten-free doughs are very good, as is the quality of the raw materials. We tried a platter as an appetizer for 2 people (really generous) and calzones. Excellent. Two notes for improvement: the variety of desserts is correct, but they probably prepare few (they are missing at the time of choice, especially for large tables I imagine). Air conditioners inside the place turned off!? In August, it is not possible in a pizzeria with active ovens.

On the recommendation of a friend, I went with my husband and daughter to have pizza at this restaurant last night, even though it was quite far from the area of Rome where I live (about half an hour drive). My daughter is celiac and she finally got to eat a truly excellent "pinsa." My husband and I chose regular pizzas, which were also very good, thin and crunchy. The desserts (all gluten-free) were definitely enjoyable. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the pleasant aromas coming from the kitchens were delightful. I recommend this place to everyone, especially to people with celiac disease, for whom it is quite rare to eat safely and well. The tables might be a bit uncomfortable as they are small, but in the COVID era, this can be understood. Prices are absolutely fair. Despite the distance, I will gladly return.

We looked online for a place where it was possible to eat gluten-free and found this wonderful restaurant where those with celiac disease can feel free to eat everything. We found the staff very kind, caring and attentive; we tasted the delicious and light fried foods and had a pizza and two pinse, one of which was gluten-free, and I found no difference as it was good and fluffy. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to try the desserts but surely next time there will be a chance because we will be back very gladly, 5 stars absolutely deserved. Well done 👏👏👏👏👏

I should mention that I am celiac and finally found a pizzeria restaurant where I felt 'normal', meaning I could choose anything from appetizers to fried dishes to dessert. The gluten-free pizza is made with a dough using deglutenized wheat, while the pinsa has a dough made with natural flours, containing no gums, no sugars, and no deglutenized wheat. Importantly, they have two ovens and two kitchens to manage gluten-free orders. The service is very fast and efficient, with smiling waitresses ready to explain everything about the food you eat. Additionally, I believe it is particularly important that the owner is celiac, as this makes explanations unnecessary, and you feel understood. I won’t change this place anymore; I recommend it to everyone, especially to celiacs who want to spend an evening with friends without feeling different.

Both the regular pinsa and the gluten-free one are excellent. Almost all the items on the menu are available in gluten-free versions. We tried the crunchy supplì, super light fried scamorzine (like tempura), eggplant crostini with their own gluten-free bread (which is also available to order, as they told us), pinsa (not exactly like the regular one but almost!), cheesecake and tart. Everything was very satisfying, with a covered outdoor space, quick and courteous service. Prices are quite reasonable (pinsa between 7/10 euros depending on the flavors, desserts 4/5 euros). We will definitely return.

The pizza is the classic Roman style, very thin, which I personally don't prefer, but the gluten-free pinsa is really good, as well as the fried foods... they have an incredible crunchiness. The classic kitchen first courses (with gluten) are also very good. Probably, the added value comes from the kindness and attention of the staff, especially when there is a celiac person at the table. Prices are average. I will definitely return.

How good is the pizza dough!!! Tasted with cold cuts and cheeses, it is wonderful. The fried foods are homemade, really excellent, especially the cod. I also tasted the Roman pinsa, the best I have ever eaten. A very nice place, staff and owners are exquisite. Highly recommended!

Great for gluten-free food, a little less for everything else. There was a lot of confusion that resulted in poor service at the tables. I went to this place twice and both times they brought me two different things than what I ordered. At least they are polite in acknowledging the mistake.

The only downside is the excessive noise that prevents a quiet conversation and the fluctuating warm air with the air conditioning, which made us decide to leave before dessert. Undoubtedly a good pizzeria, don't expect the best of the best, but definitely a place to keep in mind. Thin and well-topped pizzas, reasonable fried dishes as well as desserts. The staff is mostly female, nice "young ladies," kind and professional. The place is welcoming, the only downside is the parking, but that's a problem for almost all establishments. The price is fair! P.S. I reserve the fifth star for those places where words aren't enough, you absolutely have to try them...

Dinner for two. Cozy place and very kind staff. I had porchetta and truffle ravioli, an exceptional combination. My celiac partner had spaghetti alla carbonara (good and well-cooked), satisfied even though she would have preferred the carbonara without cream. Fair price. The only flaw was that the dishes did not arrive simultaneously, so I imagine a coordination problem between the two kitchens. Moral of the story: I recommend it and we will return.

We have been there twice and will return again to this restaurant, which is so precious to us celiacs/intolerants. The food is incredibly good and the service is always available and kind, despite the very high pace, given the large influx of people. Dealing with such well-prepared and kind staff is very important in my opinion. The burgers are out of this world, the pizza is excellent, the dishes by Uccia, well... top! Highly recommended!

Typical Roman cuisine, no fish, the pizzeria is the strong point with a wide variety of pizzas and fried dishes, specialized in gluten-free options, they even make gluten-free pinsa, and have three different types of dough always gluten-free. It is an informal place, always crowded, so it’s good to make a reservation. I spent a birthday evening there. The staff is kind and patient, which is no small thing. It’s a restaurant-pizzeria. A choice of pizzas and pinse, including whole grain and gluten-free options. Good food. Upon exiting, the manager gave our gluten-free friend a bag with breakfast for the next day.
