In this wonderful place in the historic center of Ravenna, just a stone's throw from the main street, I found various gluten-free options from sweet to savory, for breakfast, brunch, lunch break, and aperitif (cappelletti, pancakes, toast, brioche, and pizza). Vegetarian/vegan options are also available (every day they offer menu specials that they showcase on their Instagram page @gambass___). The owners, Linda and Denis, despite not having a separate kitchen, are aware of dietary needs and are very attentive. Highly recommended!!

Gamba's became a fast favourite with its warm and relaxed atmosphere. I actually worked here through the most critical parts of my thesis so it's genuinely comfortable for getting things done while having coffee too. Their menu is original and every single dish I tried has been excellent, some of the tastiest I had in Ravenna. Their brinata is an absolute must. I really appreciate not missing out on the flavorful menu because they also offer almost all dishes gluten-free. Overall you can tell the owners take this place very seriously and genuinely want to know how you like it. Every visit leaves me feeling welcome and turns me into a regular :) Highly recommendedss
