with a celiac child we often find ourselves eating at 45, the entire gluten-free menu, at the table without differences
5
a guarantee! excellent gluten-free dishes... the only flaw is the packaged bread, it would take so little to improve it
4
good pizza and courteous staff, very nice environment. Gluten-free dessert options are also available.

A very welcoming place, all-female staff super kind and competent. Traditional but somewhat refined cuisine, I appreciated it very much. The gluten-free homemade pasta was very good, and the entire menu was available in a gluten-free version š«¶. A must-visit!

I don't recommend it to anyone. I trusted the waitress's suggestion, but I really regretted it. The recommended monkfish with pasta was shown for a moment and taken away. It was brought back mixed up and there was hardly any fish in it. I got a lot less fish on my plate than what was shown for a moment before. Something in the food crunched under my teeth. Maybe sand. And they charged 25 euros for the inedible food. My wife didn't eat anything, but the coperto was still calculated. I wad very disappointed.

I arrived a bit late so place was not so crowded. I got good service but it was easy to see staff were very tired. If i was there earlier I am sure I would wait long time. Pasta was fine. Fried seafood was a bit oily. Beer options were restricted and i waa advised most popular ones already finished so i can only 2 of the beer brands. Staff were friendly in any case and food acceptable. Would recommend.

Perhaps there isn't a vast choice, but every dish is better than the other. Well-balanced flavors, and it's so good that you might doubt it's gluten-free, truly excellent.
5
We have been there twice, the first dinner was seafood, excellent. The second evening was fabulous meat. The staff was very friendly and well-prepared, highly recommended. Thank you, Micaela.
5
Delicious pasta with great attention to detail. The entire menu can be gluten-free, so you are free to choose whatever you want! Highly recommended!

I booked this restaurant via the Fork. The price was okay with the discount. If we were using the normal price, I think that it's was going to be too much for what we had eaten. We waited too long before that someone came to take the order. The staff is okay, as expected. Very touristic restaurant. It's very close to the city centre. Overall, I recommend it because the atmosphere is nice.
5
great choice of gluten-free dishes and extreme attention. AIC restaurant. all dishes on the menu available also gluten-free including fresh and filled pasta. parmesan and bread in dedicated containers for celiacs. excellent also for non-celiacs
5
excellent selection of gluten-free dishes, attentive staff to needs.
5
Fantastic dinner at the garden! Not just because of eating outside but food quality and service was excellent. I was quite impressed about fresh seafood platter. Excellent shrimp and caramali. I would definitely recommend!!
5
Certified Aic restaurant, a very welcoming place with always available staff. For celiacs, the ENTIRE menu is available.
5
excellent restaurant, wide selection of gluten-free dishes, friendly staff.

Very kind, welcoming, excellent food, and perfect location (in the square in front of the Arian Baptistery). We liked it so much that we are returning for a second evening before leaving Ravenna.
4
Very inviting menu, wide choice but above all gluten-free options are available. Very friendly and attentive staff, great fried foods and pizza. We are traveling and I would love to go back, I hope to return to Ravenna soon. The outdoor location is very, very nice. Quality comes at a cost, but you won't be disappointed.
5
Excellent. Everything is truly excellent. Fresh fish, delicious first courses both of meat and fish. Very kind and cordial staff. Fantastic that the entire menu is also gluten-free, certified, and cooked separately to eliminate any contamination. Right in the historic center of Ravenna. Very close to the main wonders of the city. They are great at recommending the flower menu which is absolutely to be tried.

Great!!!! One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Ravenna. The stuffed pinsa is delicious and very unique (octopus, mashed potatoes with garlic and parsley, and Taggiasca olives). The desserts are also excellent, especially the white chocolate and lemon sphere, truly a delight!!!! The staff is very kind and friendly. I recommend making a reservation; I did it directly through the website, and it worked perfectly. If it were possible, I would have given a score higher than 5 because, in my opinion, it's truly a fantastic restaurant. I recommend it!!!!

Third time in this venue and always a pleasure... so at this point, I can say it's a guarantee. The food is good, generous portions, attentive and fast service, pleasant atmosphere... what more could you want! Wide menu, prices are average. Try it to believe it!
1
It was not pleasant to have dinner here. The prices are really high, a coffee costs ā¬2.5... Furthermore, the portions are not satisfying and honestly, itās not that good either. Unfortunately, being right in the center of Ravenna, there is no parking. Surely the waiters are friendly!

"A halfway vote" We ordered two starters and two desserts, and we are 50% convinced. The cappelletti with asparagus, bacon, and shallot were very good, while the risotto was a bit undercooked and had more water than expected at the bottom. The same goes for the desserts; the zuppa inglese was excellent, while the sorbet tasting, also due to the cost, did not convince me completely. The second courses that passed by looked very appetizing, and I will definitely return to try them. The staff was very friendly, although I noticed a bit of disorganization, mainly because there were no tables assigned to a single waiter. Let's say I can sum up the evening with the historic phrase "good but not great."

Great gluten-free passatelli, I never thought I would find them! The desserts are good.

I went to this restaurant to eat during the first week of September because I was attracted by the strategic location (itās practically in the city center) and because my daughter is celiac. It was a nice discovery; given the beautiful sunny day, we ate outside in a lovely pedestrian area. The menu is typical of Romagna, with both meat and fish, and all dishes can be requested gluten-free. Prices are average; the location and the courtesy of the staff are definitely worth it.

We went to this restaurant and found the location very nice, but unfortunately the food was lacking. We sat down at 8:30 PM and ordered a seafood tasting menu at 9:15. Shortly after ordering and eating the first appetizer, we were informed that one of the tasting dishes was no longer available and was replaced with another course. The food was of poor quality!!!! We found the wine suggested to be quite good and the portion sizes acceptable. The staff was ill-prepared and unprofessional. This restaurant is suitable for people who do not know Italian cuisine.
4
Very nice summer location in a historic square. The staff was courteous and available, even though they were very busy (the restaurant was very crowded); we received excellent service. We ate well, although we didn't quite understand the cheese-filled tortellini paired with the fish š . Honest prices.. A must-try!

The evening spent with family at this restaurant would deserve 5 stars; the small square in the street with a single access near the historic center of Ravenna is beautiful. The food is exquisite in quality, combinations, and quantity; served with an extraordinary speed (all different dishes) and the staff was quick, courteous, and helpful; the price is medium tending to high, but as I always say, one is happy to pay for this quality. I donāt give 5 stars, just a delayed rating, for two minor aspects that always make a difference. I asked for a craft beer and, being with 2 kids and my wife who had ordered a Coca-Cola, I thought it was obvious it was just for me: they brought a 0.75L bottle which unfortunately was partly untouched; then served without a beer glass which I had to ask for when, I think, itās obvious to present beer and glass. These are small details and if I could, I would give 4.75 stars. Until next time!

I really like this place where we have been several times, mostly outdoors because the location is very beautiful. Usually, we come here to eat pizza (we find it good), but last night we ordered a mixed fry and a cone of fried cod. What can I say... we ate well, we didn't wait too long despite it being very crowded, and the staff is very friendly (which is not too common in Ravenna). We will continue to come here and I recommend this place.
3
An overrated place, not worth more than 3 stars, considering the setting (in good weather) since you eat outdoors in a square in front of the loggias facing a church, in a suggestive context. There are many tables, and the service was not up to expectations (although without pretensions) despite the efforts of the maitre to make us feel comfortable. The food was too salty, generous and pleasant portions, but understandably lacked special care in the preparations. Understandably, given the number of customers, it feels more like eating at a fair than in a restaurant. I don't discourage it, but I wouldn't return.

The 3-star rating comes from an average of many aspects Of the whole food experience. First, location. Stunning is an understatement. Sitting outside for dinner time is a dream, seeing the night time approaching while staring at UNESCO sites is definitely a rare experience. The staff was friendly but the service was chaotic and the personnel looked overwhelmed and frantic. It took us more than 40 minutes to hear our bill was taken care of, and the only way they could compensate for this was by offering the wine we have enjoyed throughout the dinner. Finally, the food was average. The seafood starter was nice, as well as the blue mussels. However, the risotto was more of a warm rice salad, as it missed completely the creaminess and togetherness of this preparation (and the rice was definitely too al dente). The final tray of fried fish was also a mix of good (the grilled fish) and bland ājust okā fried seafood(it tasted like a premade frozen mix). I do not know whether it was an especially bad day (it was a red day due to the saint protector of the city) but we expected better than this. A missed chance for me.

Beautiful location in the heart of Ravenna. High-quality gluten-free dishes. The Romagna menu is absolutely recommended. Prices are average, suitable for both couples and families. All crowned by an atmosphere that only Italy can provide. Well done!
3
Very beautiful location. Some dishes were missing from the menu and we opted for the pizza: good. I remembered they had some fancier things...

After many months without visiting restaurants, we chose to return to Al 45 for my birthday dinner. A confirmation, outdoor dining, impeccable dishes, excellent seafood appetizers and first courses; the fried cod with sweet/spicy sauce and the eggplant millefoglie with swordfish just to start, followed by strozzapreti with pesto, clams, shrimp, and squid and buckwheat tagliatelle with cod, crispy guanciale, and zucchini, all served with courtesy and professionalism, made us forget the reality outside this "frame" in our historic center for two hours. Excellent experience.

The location is very beautiful and the service is excellent. We came because it is part of the AIC circuit for gluten-free dining. The entire menu is available in both regular and gluten-free versions, which is very nice. Unfortunately, some dishes lacked flavor and the frying was terrible. The first courses and also the main courses were good. Not too cheap. For the quality and price, unfortunately, I don't feel it deserves more than 3 stars; they could easily reach more with a little effort.
2
Slow, slow, slow. Unfriendly staff, not attentive to needs. Very picturesque location, located inside the center Rating 8.5. Menu with a wide selection. We had a cold cut platter and piadina, medium-low quality. For the main courses, we had Bolognese cappelletti, and for the second course, fried vegetables that were very chewy. House wine. Rating 6 lost for the hospitality and the quality of the menu.
4
Restaurant in a particularly charming corner of Ravenna in a small square away from traffic. Super menu both for meat and fish. Excellent and very professional service. They observe the right precautions for the post-covid period. Fair price-quality ratio and perfect atmosphere.
5
Superb staff and service, excellent food. I hadn't seen my daughter, who has celiac disease, so happy to eat in a while, the same goes for her celiac friend. Our dishes and theirs were truly good!! Plus, they let us in with two Golden Retrievers and even pampered them!! Really amazing and I highly recommend it for both celiacs and non-celiacs!!!

Charming and welcoming place. Excellent service. Friendly and attentive staff. Outstanding food. Menu includes meat and fish. Great wine selection. Ideal for a romantic dinner. If you want to spend less, they also serve pizza. The bill is average considering the quality and the location, which is practically in the city center.

Unwittingly ended up on a beautiful evening of "Ravenna in Light". Very nice place with fair prices, especially when compared to the goodness of the pizza and the quality of the ingredients for the pasta and assorted cold cuts platter. Professional and very kind staff, as well as sweetly patient with small and somewhat lively children. Recommended, even for a romantic evening.

Dinner with colleagues. We sit down and after a while the waitress, rude, tells us that there wouldn't be pizza because the pizzaiolo had changed his day off (we believe they should have called to inform us). The dinner was okay, the food nothing special, all normal. We ask for the bill, and while I was away for a moment, upon my return (2 minutes) I present a 10% discount voucher and, still the rude one, says that we should have presented it immediately which I can somewhat understand, but itās the way you say things; then she says that the owner made the receipt and left.... Well! In the end, on a total of 422 she gives us the exact amount. Okay. We go to the register to pay our share and she starts saying that we should have arranged to gather the money and that she didnāt have change to give. In the end, we managed to pay and left, concluding that we will never return. Politeness and kindness in a public place are very important, at least according to us.

Good value for money. Friendly staff. Nice location in a beautiful spot of the historical center. Excellent dishes and pizzas. Top desserts. Always full on Saturday evenings, it's better to book ahead.
