We had a couple hours between trains in Trieste. Walked to Passticceria Da Ily. Walked in and asked the women behind the counter and asked what is gluten free, the women waived her arm and said "all of this!". Perhaps the best 100% all gluten free bakery I've ever been to, we had multiple extremely tasty pastry treats. All were excellent and fun. Coffee was great too. Highly recommend.

Utterly fabulous. Everything gluten-free from savory to sweet, different takes on breads from the usual gluten-free. Locals mob this place for a quick bite and a coffee, the coffee also being excellent. Great service, English-friendly, pleasant space.

Beautiful pastry shop in Trieste, a true paradise for those who are gluten-free! Since everything is gluten-free, there is no risk of contamination. There's an embarrassment of choices: from croissants to cakes, from pastries to pizzas, sandwiches, and rolls. I have been gluten-free for 5 years, and in this pastry shop, I had the best croissant I have ever tasted: excellent raw materials and you could really taste the vanilla in the cream. Prices are really honest despite being gluten-free: for two cappuccinos, one macchiato, two cream croissants, one with Nutella and chantilly cream, and one sandwich to go, we spent only €21.40. If I ever return to Trieste or nearby, I will definitely stop here for another of their delicious croissants!

Simply fantastic! They have a vast range of choices that vary from sweet to savory. They also sell fresh bread and breadsticks, which I tried and can confirm are fantastic! Additionally, I also tried the brioches and pizza slices (I don't want to be repetitive, but I confirm again that they are excellent). I have been gluten intolerant for almost 20 years and I can say that I have never been so happy to have such a varied choice. The kitchen is dedicated to making only gluten-free items, so there is no risk of contamination. I sincerely recommend it to everyone!💞

Very nice place, almost like a romantic movie, clean and tidy, a quiet spot where you can have a chat. Good reception from the staff, although I must say the service was not very quick. The desserts and pastries were good with a wide variety of choices and especially great for those with intolerances. Perhaps the service and reception could be improved a bit. Nevertheless, I recommend it as a stop for anyone passing through that area.

We arrived from Brescia and, to refresh ourselves after the trip, we stopped at this pastry shop for breakfast. Only at the end did we discover that it was gluten-free and lactose-free... well, what can I say: simply phenomenal! Everything was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and with an authentic taste. Everything is gluten-free, many products are also lactose-free and vegan. The pastry shop from Ily is AIC certified, so you can relax, sit comfortably, and enjoy every bite without worries. I had breakfast with my family with pistachio and jam croissants. Never eaten better. Even those who usually don’t eat gluten-free found nothing to complain about. Everything was truly excellent. For a snack, we took bread, pizza, and focaccia to go, and everything was delicious. The staff was very kind and smiling. The pastry chef Ilaria is herself celiac, and you can feel that she puts her heart, experience, and an extra dose of professionalism into it. When the cook genuinely understands the diner… it’s a whole other story. In the display cases, the mignons and cakes seem to say “eat me” with their eyes. Elegant, creative, worth photographing before devouring. Highly recommended for those who want taste, safety, and beauty!

We had a divine meal! They have everything: sweet, savory, and first courses—everything, I mean everything, GLUTEN-FREE!!! For those who need it, it's really wonderful to find a place like this, and for those who don't, the difference is barely noticeable, making it fabulous!!! A joy for the eyes and the palate! So many sweet and savory products. I tried the pistachio and white chocolate croissant (this one is flaky), the sesame bread and the rosetta, the margherita pizza. Everything was delicious! I travel often, and since I became celiac, this is the best bakery/pastry shop I have ever visited. Usually, there is less variety and the places are more bare and anonymous. It felt like I had gone back in time to enter any gluten-filled bar 😃😋

Absolutely exceptional. This gluten-free pastry shop is, without exaggeration, the best I've ever tried. Making gluten-free puff pastries is a challenge that almost no one manages to win, but they seem to be unaware of it... and they simply make them outstanding. My new heart's place! A dream come true for every celiac, and not only, many lactose-free and vegan products are also available. Super kind staff, especially the cute and extremely polite guy who serves at the tables. We tried both their brioche (croissants) available in many flavors, but we also had some excellent lactose-free pizzettes!

Personally, I recommend. I was served a slice of old cake, despite having specifically requested a fresh product. I don't believe it's even of excellent quality, regardless of the freshness of the product, as I was left with the typical tingling in my mouth caused by poorly measured or low-quality baking powder. Lastly, the price, 4 euros for a sample of cake that can't even be defined as a "slice." Failed!

Pastry shop found thanks to this app. I went there in the morning around 8:30. Wide selection of pastries, macarons, at least 4/5 cakes to sample by the slice (chocolate and pears, chocolate and hazelnuts, apple pie, vegan carrot cake, etc.). Croissants for all tastes. Jams. Pistachio, chocolate cream. I tried the pistachio one and it was amazing. No bread or savory items were available at the counter, but perhaps due to the timing.

A really nice and good pastry shop, with everything gluten-free. We stopped for breakfast, and the brioche are really excellent. A little heavier than those with gluten, but that's just how it is. The filling cream is excellent. We liked it so much that, after a couple of hours, we went back to get bread for lunch. The black one is highly recommended.

If you are in Trieste, it is really worth it for everyone.. gluten-free flours and wheat. Pay attention to the lactose and milk issue. The savory options are also excellent. The stuffed sandwiches with cacio e pepe dough and sun-dried tomatoes are special. Gorgeous! The cakes are wonderful.

Ilaria really surprised me, first of all with her preparation and then with her great enthusiasm and desire to please the customer. We tasted various preparations including some amazing, fragrant brioche, practically a miracle using only gluten-free flours. AIC certified, she also has lactose-free desserts. I tried an excellent pear and olive oil cake. You can find various types of bread and... the krapfen! Moreover, she also makes really beautiful and delicious cakes, my guests didn't notice the difference!
