Every time I return to "Al Carbonaio," it’s an experience that warms the heart. The staff is extremely professional and always friendly, making you feel at ease from the very first moment. The atmosphere is intimate, familial, and well-maintained. The owners, Ciro and Gina, are wonderful people: passionate, welcoming, and always attentive to ensuring the best for those sitting at their tables. And the food? A guarantee. Whatever you choose from the menu is superb, from appetizers to pizza, from first courses to second courses. Everything is prepared with quality ingredients and great care. There is also a strong attention to gluten-free options: those with particular dietary needs feel welcomed and protected, without ever sacrificing taste or variety. The wine selection is extensive and well-curated, as is the dessert menu, which always beautifully concludes the meal. Another strong point is the menu, which is always refined and constantly evolving: it changes every three to four months, offering new proposals to those who love to return often. Thank you, Ciro and Gina, for providing excellent cuisine in a place that feels like home. A restaurant that is much more than just a restaurant: it’s an experience.

We were welcomed with kindness, grace, and the natural warmth of a family that runs this typical restaurant of San Severo's antiquities with simplicity, passion, and professionalism, updated with care and elegance and all comforts. In particular, it stands out for its attention and preparation in satisfying every need just to offer varied and respectable dishes to my sister with a severe form of celiac disease. The pizza is truly good, with perfect fermentation and baking, not sparing even the crispy crust on the outside and soft on the inside. All of this at a decidedly fair price. It is with immense pleasure and pride that I write this review to tell about a small gem of my hometown, which has been far away for some time now. Well done indeed!!
