I discovered Officina Zero almost by chance, while I was looking for a place to have gluten-free breakfast on a Sunday morning during a weekend in Milan. I have to say I was amazed... I chose a pistachio croissant and I am convinced it was the best I have ever eaten in almost 40 years as a celiac. The counter had a lot of tempting sweet and savory options, I would have liked to try everything... Then I chose to take away a slice of pizza for lunch, and it turned out to be really excellent as well. The staff was kind and quick despite the large crowd (and I understand the reason well). Plus, it’s just a stone's throw from the Metro stop. Without a doubt, I'll return every time I'm in Milan.

Absolute paradise for the gluten-free crowd! We originally stopped by just for a quick coffee and a snack, but the menu looked so good we ended up staying for a full lunch. Best decision ever. Gianluca welcomed me on a gloomy late November day among the discreet messes of Trenitalia. He surprised me with excellent focaccia and two delicious baskets with cream and fried ingredients and lemon, all gluten-free. The cherry on the cake was the panettone: it is the best panettone I had before I encountered my gluten issues, by far. You can feel all the love that he and his team put into it. I recommend both the place and the panettone to everyone ❤️

With my celiac wife, we spent a day in Milan and following Google reviews, we found this wonderful gluten-free café. The staff is friendly and polite, and we were lucky enough to get the last two croissants filled with pistachio cream. I can assure you that I have eaten croissants all over the world, but here they are truly top-notch, crispy and flaky inside, feeling just like a classic croissant. My wife had two, and I settled for two shortcrust pastry tarts with cream and raspberries, which were excellent as well. So, for your gluten-free breakfast in Milan, this is the right place. Congratulations! P.S. And in the end, when we were at the cash register to pay, we also got two slices of pizza and an arancino for a midday snack.

I've been gluten-free for 7 years, and before that, I was a huge fan of panettone. Since then, I have never found gluten-free panettones comparable. Once, after school, I entered with a milkshake in hand, a jacket in hand, and a heavy backpack, and I wanted to quickly grab a small pizza, and the owner almost kicked me out because I couldn't consume the milkshake or other drinks (I wasn't drinking it, I just had it in hand) (people were drinking all sorts of things at the tables).

Officina Zero was an excellent find. You can find everything gluten-free from sweet to savory. You feel free to share everything you eat without contamination worries. We went there for breakfast but also got take-out hot dishes for lunch. The owner GianLuca is very kind, available, and professional. After telling us that the flours are purchased from "Ori di Sicilia" in Mazzarino (CL), he provided further guarantees on the finished product. Everything is super good. The place is small, but just right, like a little bar. Kudos for the products and the service they offer to celiacs.
