Tonight family birthday at the FATTORIA IL POGGIO in Montecarlo. The venue, very beautiful and unique, is nestled in the greenery of the Lucca countryside. Excellent food respecting the Lucchese tradition (and more). The generous portions and the option for gluten-free dishes are commendable. Friendly and cheerful staff provided impeccable service. The wine cellar is also great with delicious wines of their own production. There were four of us and we ordered: 4 Tuscan appetizers, two first courses - tordelli lucchese and tagliolini with mushrooms, two second courses - mixed grill with beef and Etruscan rabbit with olives and sides. Water, wine and three desserts. Total price 120 euros.
