Small venue where both sandwiches and platters are prepared, with or without gluten. Possible contamination risk even though they change gloves and try to limit the risk. I didn't feel sick and appreciated both the (commercial) bread and the high-quality cured meats and cheeses.

A small shop just steps from the Basilica of Santa Chiara where you can taste some typical products, cold cuts, cheeses, and more. Moreover, they can prepare you some superb sandwiches! But it doesn't end there, you can also get a super stuffed gluten-free sandwich! (The place is not certified, but they are very attentive! Besides being kind). What can I say, it's a must-try!!! (PS we went there twice in one day, morning and afternoon... 😁👍🏻)

I went in April, after visiting several places that did not guarantee non-contamination. Once I arrived, I complained, and the very kind owner prepared my sandwich first, changing his gloves and taking the wrapped sandwich, dedicating a simple corner to gluten-free preparation, demonstrating that it really takes very little to offer everyone the possibility to eat. Being very symptomatic, I can say that I didn’t get sick. Highly recommended!! But above all, the owner is super kind and understanding!!!

They use large, very soft packaged hamburger-style buns. They let us taste various cold cuts, all gluten-free to choose from. They also sell flavored olive oils and sauces for pasta. Young, friendly, and kind staff.
