gluten-free my foot. They have single portions of Nutrifree bread, they heat the bread next to the regular one, not even using parchment paper or cleaning the grill. All together, as if gluten-free is a trend and not an intolerance. They throw bread and flour everywhere, on the counter, slicers, etc. Don’t make yourself a sandwich, at most get a salad.

I often go to the Prosciutteria, especially for aperitifs. Everything is very good, but it's definitely all contaminated, which they also make sure to specify immediately.

In this delicatessen located in the center of Perugia, there is an immediately welcoming atmosphere, where quality and passion for products can be seen in every detail. The cured meats offered are many and all very good, served on generous cutting boards, not to mention the focaccias that can be created on the spot with various choices or selected from predefined options, the cheeses are excellent, often accompanied by honey or artisanal jams. The wine selection is curated and designed to best enhance the flavors, with options both local and national. The service is a real strength: the staff is kind, knowledgeable, and always ready to explain the dishes and advise based on the customer's tastes. Great attention is also paid to those with specific requests or intolerances.
