Dearest!!!! I paid 5€ for a two-flavor ice cream cone. Okay, we are in Assisi, but it doesn’t even cost that much in Rome.

We stopped for a sweet break and then after a few hours for lunch. My child ate an excellent gluten-free crepe with Nutella, and then for lunch, the gluten-free lasagna, prepared by them (not frozen). The gluten dishes were also very good. The friendliness and warmth of the owners are worth noting. I recommend it.

Nice place and friendly and welcoming staff. They have many gluten-free options, but sometimes they don't give the assurance a celiac looks for. In any case, everything is very good.

I was surprised they were AIC certified. Not all flavors are gluten-free, and they take the ice cream from the same tub used for all (including cones with gluten), removing the "top layer" with a scoop to serve from underneath.

We came here for lunch, hoping for a salad and dessert but we could only see sweet options. Not a problem, we ordered some crepes and hot drinks and were completely stuffed by the end of out meal! They have gluten free pancakes and crepes (waffles are on the menu, but cannot be made GF), which I enjoyed. The lady helping us was very friendly and the shop is beautifully decorated.

We basically tried to order items from the menu that in reality did not exist... No pancakes, only some herbal teas, hot chocolate only with milk. There was only the cook serving us, and even then with great difficulty, constantly reminding us that he was the cook and not responsible for serving. A crepe was €6 and gluten-free €9, ridiculous prices, well, I do not recommend it.

Beautiful discovery in Assisi, moreover just a few steps from where we were staying. Excellent cuisine and for us who are celiac, everything was very well cared for with maximum attention, even after the kids had ice cream with cleaning of ice cream scoops and water in unused parts to ensure no contamination. The lady advised us on what to take, and in the end, we had lunch with 4 different dishes that were nothing short of divine. My gluten-free pasta alla norcina is truly addictive, and my son had the gluten-free pinza, which was also excellent. Moreover, for non-celiacs, there were cold tagliatelle with lemon, olives, cherry tomatoes, and pesto, which left my husband Mik very satisfied. Overall, if you go to Assisi, I would say you must make a stop, and we will definitely do it.
