As usual, I will provide a detailed and honest review in the hope that my suggestions can be taken as cues for improvement. Let's start with the Location: rating 5, very nice and characteristic, well-kept, clean, elegantly balanced without being over the top, romantic especially for an evening dinner. Staff: rating 5, all female waiters, very kind and available, and well-prepared in describing the dishes. Now let's move on to last night's culinary experience.... I will review each dish as, to my taste, some were really well made while others were a bit less so.... Appetizer Tasting de Portista: with excellent fried anchovies, great octopus alla Luciana, and mussels with a really pleasant taste... different from the usual, but very tasty. Unfortunately, I have to reject the seafood appetizer as it was lacking in salt and oil; not seasoned to my taste (and I’m not used to an excess of oil... but a good balance of oil, salt, and pepper). First dish: Risotto with shrimp cream: excellent rice cooking, great aroma upon the dish's arrival, this dish was ordered by my husband, but I tasted it... and I would say the aroma of the shrimp was predominant. My second was Baccalà with citrus, unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it much, but I finished the dish anyway... I didn't feel the baccalà combine well with the surrounding flavors... like the marinated zucchini and the cream on the bottom. Then we tasted the Fried calamari and shrimp. Excellent, 10 and praise. The aroma of well-made fried food upon the dish's arrival intoxicated me... I tasted everything... it was truly excellent. To conclude, we chose a tiramisu that, according to my husband, was excellent (and he is very particular about tiramisu)... and I had the lemon yogurt and chocolate cream... rating 10 because it was a really good, new dessert I had never tasted before. Finally, something different... in a sea of desserts that are always the same, here you find the gem that enriches the end of the dinner. Very pleasant and relaxing background music. Parking available. Suitable for intolerances and allergies as allergens are well specified on the menu. Unfortunately, they did not mention my allergy to nickel... which is not well-known, but unfortunately, there are really many of us. A small suggestion... the chairs outside are a bit uncomfortable... as a customer, I would have preferred something softer. Thank you all for the pleasant evening.
