You must go there: you will find the ice creams of your dreams, the ones that don't leave you feeling heavy, but just satisfied. Why? Because they are made without eggs, gluten, and lactose, but with plenty of taste! Or rather: lots of different flavors, all fresh! Let yourself be advised by the extraordinary owner and ask for your loyalty card. IUPPI, the ice cream shop of the future has landed in Polignano a Mare.

A very interesting place both for the products they offer and from a stylistic point of view. For me, who is lactose intolerant, it was truly a godsend. All products are plant-based, including cream, wafers, etc. The sales assistant was really friendly with everyone. Perhaps the only downside is the area where it is located, a bit out of the way, but fortunately, I parked right in front. I will come back every time I visit Polignano.

Brilliant idea: to obtain ice cream from the fermentation of legumes and cereals for a product that is naturally gluten-free and lactose-free. The result is a TASTY ice cream hard to distinguish from traditional products. Prices? In line with old-style ice cream shops and also includes both whipped cream (strictly plant-based) and a sprinkle of dark chocolate in the cone, obviously soy-based. Recommended if you have intolerances or if you want to try an EXCELLENT ice cream.

A pleasant discovery near the center of Polignano. I was immediately struck by the location, modern, well-kept in details, and it radiates happiness. What positively impressed me is the inclusion toward food intolerances; in fact, all the ice creams are made with natural products, lactose-free and vegan, so it’s definitely an innovation to have all flavors for any need. The ice cream was a breath of fresh air, lightness, and infinite goodness, including the excellent cone. The staff is kind, friendly, and very accommodating. Probably the only downside could be the presence of not very numerous flavors; however, the quality is felt and allows you to fully enjoy the ice cream.

SPACIAL GELATO! After trying almost all the flavors, I can say with absolute certainty that you absolutely must not miss the chance to try the gelato from IUPPI. Besides being gluten and lactose-free, there are several factors that add extra value compared to regular gelato. First and foremost is the consistency: unlike traditional gelato, the creaminess is a major plus! The flavors are 'pure,' and what you immediately notice is the quality of the product (try the pistachio flavor, among others, to believe it!) Coconut, peanut, and magma flavors are also delicious! Besides being a delight for the palate, it's also a feast for the eyes: a venue attended to in every little detail, really cute! Lastly, and not least, the absence of plastic: everything is compostable! Congratulations to the entire staff!
