Great and plentiful food. Maximum security, perfect even for an aperitif. The venue is not very large, so reservation is recommended.

I learned about this place through a YouTube channel of a girl with celiac disease named Cecilia (the channel is called Ceciliaca). Excellent recommendation from the content creator. There is a wide selection of dishes from appetizers to the actual dinner. Gluten-free fresh pasta, tartare appetizers to try them all, the balance of flavors ensures that the dish doesn't become cloying. Fried foods that you can't stop eating: the fried dough sandwich is excellent. The menu is very extensive so it will be necessary to return and taste the rest of the culinary offerings. The kindness of the girls and the owner from the welcome to the end of the dinner is definitely an added value. I highly recommend it to everyone, even those who are not celiac.

Found by chance while looking for a place for a gluten-free friend. A well-kept and innovative spot with 'alternative' dishes all worth trying. The fried foods are very crispy and hearty, the batter is suitable for everyone since it's made with corn flour. The pizza dough is very light, the pizzas are topped just right with various ingredient options. The menu also includes appetizers, first and second courses; unfortunately, as a vegetarian, the choice isn’t very wide but the dishes I was able to try are definitely excellent. Young but attentive staff to all needs. Recommended.

My cousin found this restaurant near home that meets the needs of vegetarians, celiacs, and those who eat a bit of everything for dinner. In two weeks, we've been there three times and have had the chance to taste and appreciate various delicacies. I recommend making a reservation; you can call, send a message on WhatsApp, use TheFork, I'm not sure if there are other options. Parking is fairly easy to find. The restrooms are new and clean, there's room to move around; I point this out because when I arrive at a place, I immediately go to wash my hands, and from there, the attention to overall cleanliness is evident. I think I saw high chairs for the little ones. The venue is open, with windows that don’t obstruct the view but rather give a sense of openness; the door is automatic, making access easier for everyone; the lighting is just right and doesn’t disturb. The waitstaff are very attentive, kind, smiling, helpful, always ready to understand the needs of the customers. They notice everything and remember it all; even though they are quite young, they show high professionalism. Usually, when you go to a place, you order, and when the food arrives, you ask who it belongs to; they know exactly who ordered what and serve the dishes to the right person. They come by at the right moment to ask if you need more sauces, and the table is always clear of things that are no longer needed because as soon as a plate is finished, they take it away immediately, without making their presence too noticeable. They know how to suggest the right pairings, are mindful of allergies/intolerances, and always ask specific questions, so there are no misunderstandings or surprises. The fried items are all gluten-free, and the corn-based batter makes them truly delicious, from the classic supplì to its variations, brie, mozzarella balls, potato and provola spheres. The portions are all generous; you won’t find mini tastings, and you won’t leave there thinking you need to eat more. Starters, first courses, second courses, pizzas, raw dishes, everything is delicious; you will have the opportunity to eat classic dishes or foods with very particular flavor combinations. For this reason, it’s wise to ask for recommendations from the staff, who explain simply the contents and aromas, which clarifies what you will be eating without later thinking that it would have been better to choose something else. If they see food left over, they ask if it was to your liking or if you need a container to take it away. One thing I appreciated very much is that the pizzas arrive already cut; just a light move is enough to separate the parts. The dishes are unique and refined; their shape allows you to eat everything with great ease without losing the seasoning. I am a teetotaler, but my dining companions were happy with the glasses of wine they had, from classic and refined wineries. Desserts, I love desserts, but I never order them at dinner; this time I broke the rule. We once had the coconut and ricotta cheesecake with passion fruit jelly, which was a festival for the taste buds. The next time, we had lemon cream with raspberry jelly and meringue; silence reigned at the table, we were in ecstasy, a triumph. It’s worth noting that this cream is served in a glass container with a lid that resembles the cloche of a famous animated film rose. The bill, please! After having eaten often and willingly, dinner can become heavy due to the numbers given at checkout. We were positively astonished because the quality-price ratio is excellent. In fact, we've decided to make the place a regular stop and introduce it to various friends. The owner, with his kindness, always asks if the bill should be split and if we were satisfied with the food and the evening. I haven’t mentioned the kitchen staff because I didn’t see them; I extend my compliments to them too for what they prepared for us; they are truly amazing. I apologize for the hastily taken photos.

We had dinner at this restaurant that offers a truly refined and rich menu, entirely available in a gluten-free version as well. For me, being celiac, it was a dream! The experience exceeded expectations (which were already high, having read excellent reviews), and we left the restaurant very satisfied. The courtesy and attention of our server contributed significantly to the overall experience. It’s rare to find such sensitivity and care, especially when it comes to gluten-free cuisine. I will definitely return!

Finally tried the aperitif that truly deserves it. All gluten-free, friendly waiters, and fast service. Absolutely worth a visit!!

Very nice and well-kept niche place, ideal for a dinner among colleagues! The entire gluten-free menu allowed me, the only celiac, to eat in peace and try everything. The only downside is the music, which was a bit too loud for a restaurant where people dine and would like to chat, sometimes making communication with the waiters difficult, but it's a minor issue! Overall, a great experience and delicious food, definitely worth trying if you're celiac!

I was pleasantly surprised! I went for a gluten-free aperitif. 15 euros for a board of cold cuts and cheeses, some extra dishes, my favorite was the polenta with ragù, and finally a platter of fried foods. Good and tasty dishes. A special mention goes to the spritz, which few know how to make well, but here it is crafted to perfection! Two extremely friendly and nice men welcomed me. The place is intimate and small. At the end of the evening, they also showed me the dinner menu, and I found interesting and alternative proposals. I will definitely return to try dinner too!

Finally, a restaurant where you eat wonderfully and feel pampered! The environment is well-kept and welcoming, the staff attentive and kind. The dishes, to be enjoyed until the last bite, are excellent, refined, and offered at a very honest price. A major strength is the attention to gluten-free options: Alternativo is AIC certified, ensuring safety and quality for those who need to avoid gluten without sacrificing taste. You can immediately sense that it's a special place, created and managed with genuine passion.

Excellent gluten-free dinner!! The fried mortadella was delicious, as were the Ascoli olives.. the pizza was one of the best I've ever had (I had a marinara).. and craft beer too! Even non-celiacs appreciated their gluten pizzas, which were very well topped! What more could you want?! Very nice place and honest prices!!!

Finally, a place to eat gluten-free food with exceptional flavor. I was here for dinner with my three daughters, one of whom is celiac, and we ate wonderfully. The mixed platter for two was abundant, the gluten-free pizza was as delicious as the regular one that I even asked for confirmation it was gluten-free, and the tuna tartare had a mix of exceptional flavors. Fast service and super helpful staff. We will definitely return!

An alternative and undoubtedly courageous choice due to its proximity to less encouraging areas of the city. While the necessary praises are due, it must be said that at times, with only two people, managing all the tables can be a challenge. The culinary offerings are surprisingly extensive, ranging from pizza to meats cooked at low temperatures, and including pasta that is strictly gluten-free. The wine list is suitable for the context; classic choices that are good. The young team running the place has great ideas and puts in a lot of effort with passion. We've already returned and recommend it to everyone, gluten-free or not. Well done!!!
