La Taverna Da Bruno offers quality dishes with a special focus on gluten-free options, certified by AIC. The gluten-free pizza is particularly appreciated, as are the desserts. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensures excellent service. Recommended for celiacs.

I tried a gluten-free pizza, it wasn't bad but it didn't blow me away either; I've had much better. The problem for me is especially their shop, which sells gluten-free products and is located next to the restaurant. Apart from the really outrageous prices, I bought some bread and it was rock hard, gummy, and tasteless; even after heating it a bit in the oven, the texture didn't change... I also got a cream-filled pastry which, besides being hard and gummy, was empty, there wasn't even a trace of the cream... now I have a chocolate pastry left to try, but I don't have high hopes...

Great place, staff and owner are very kind and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. I finally found a restaurant where I can enter and eat with complete confidence having a daughter with celiac disease. I found a reference point for my future visits. I recommend it 100%.

We have been there several times. The menu is vast: meat, fish, pizza. Every single dish can be requested gluten-free. The place is really big, with several rooms both inside and outside. Their must-try is the meat.
5
The entire menu is available gluten-free with dishes of meat, fish, pizza, piadina, and desserts. Great attention is also given to other allergens (e.g., lactose). I had a pizza and in my opinion, it is the best gluten-free pizza I have eaten so far. The dessert was also excellent.
5
Taverna da Bruno is a guarantee if you are looking for a seafood restaurant or pizzeria, the entire menu can be made gluten-free! Spectacular and unique is the grilled pizza! Highly recommended!
5
Everything is very good, it's nice to be able to choose anything from the menu in gluten-free version.
5
a very varied menu and practically almost any dish can be requested in a gluten-free version. I had a pizza and assure you that I did not notice any differences compared to the classic ones. friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere that is always a plus!
5
Delicious food, complete gluten-free menu, fish that makes you lick your fingers and soak the plate, excellent pizzas and, in our celiac daughter's opinion (and Romagnole), "the best gluten-free piadina ever eaten"!! Extremely kind staff, highly recommended place.
5
It is necessary to make a reservation because the venue is very busy, so it's difficult to find a spot if you go there in person at that moment. We arrived a few minutes before the reservation time and the table was already available. The dishes arrived quite quickly. Quality fish, well-cooked, considering that we ordered everything gluten-free, and it's hard to find mixed fried seafood in other places. Highly recommended.

What an incredible restaurant. An entire vegan menu, and what quality! Extraordinary and tasty pizzas, with a care in the combinations that I would never have expected. Places like this in Romagna are unfortunately extremely rare, and my advice for any vegan travelers is to go there even if staying a few kilometers away. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind, providing precise and clear instructions even for those with celiac disease and intolerances. The service is very fast and there are many seats available. I will definitely return.

Everything dedicated to gluten-free, the entire menu is good food for sure, separate kitchen for gluten-free, they have an in-store shop with a wide selection of gluten-free products, fresh pasta, flours, and piadinas. Excellent, I recommend it.

I start by saying that I am very sorry to write this review and that I have nothing to say about the quality of the food, especially the pizza. But I am tired of being taken for a ride. Once, 4 desserts were added to the bill instead of the 3 consumed. Another time, an extra charge was added to the pizza. This is the third time it has happened. As you can see from the receipt (besides the addition of 2 euros for nuts on the pizza with gorgonzola, which seems excessive, but whatever), an extra of 2.50€ was added for lactose-free mozzarella, which I deduce was 'added' on the gluten-free pizza. Too bad that, as can be inferred from the photo, there is no mozzarella on the pizza. In the others, we did not request lactose-free mozzarella, so if it was added, it was done without request. I hope this is just oversight, although unjustifiable, especially since the pizza is the best in the area, especially the gluten-free one for my girlfriend. But it really makes you want to not come back like this.

the best place ever found. It has the entire gluten-free menu and a shop next door to buy homemade pastries, cookies, focaccia, and more
5
Great restaurant in Bellaria, numerous dining rooms and seating areas. Air-conditioned interior and outdoor area. Separate kitchen available for gluten-intolerant meal preparation. Menu available in versions for celiacs and lactose-intolerant individuals. In this case, the dishes will be colorful. Generous portions and friendly staff. Reservation recommended, especially in the case of intolerance to signal it beforehand, as well as upon arrival at the table, to the waiter. Recommended.
5
All good, it's a pity they charge for gluten-free options.
5
Delicious food, I had the gluten-free piadina which had a soft and exquisite dough, also very good gluten-free pizza, abundant fish starters, well seasoned and very tasty (both gluten-free and with gluten). I highly recommend it, also with a shop next door offering fresh products (croissants, biscuits, bomboloni, piadine, pizza and much more) gluten-free made by them and very good.
4
great attention to gluten-free, tried several times the piadine and cassoni to take away don't make me go crazy for the dough, but the rest of the food including first courses and especially devastating fried dishes! huge place and very welcoming
5
We had lunch today, excellent service and great food. We have two coeliac individuals and the care and attention from the staff was outstanding. Fair price, and despite the distance, we will definitely return.
5
Very good food, especially fresh fish; excellent frying. All dishes can also be made gluten-free, including fried and baked items. Very kind and helpful staff. The manager Matteo is very nice and cordial.
5
An 80s locale but really top-notch! We went two consecutive evenings, tried both pizza and seafood, both were delicious. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Everything on the menu is also suitable for celiacs, including desserts! Fair price, we hope to return soon!

the best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten; if they don't tell you, you'd never know it... I've said it all...

Very large and nice place. Very kind staff and fast service. Gluten-free strozzapreti with seafood were amazing: both the pasta and sauce were very good, and the portion was abundant. Gluten-free dishes are marked with a colored plate to avoid any margin of error. I also tried the cream brioche, the bread, and the piadina (all gluten-free). The cream of the brioche was very good, but the dough was quite rubbery, as was the bread. The piadina was good, nothing exceptional.
5
Update: I still think it's the best place for gluten-free pizza. (2024) I had the best gluten-free pizza of my life here. The gluten-free pizzas are made in a separate kitchen. We had Margherita and 4 formaggi pizzas. Very nice staff, fully informed about gluten-free food. Our dog was made welcome and when we sat down they immediately brought him water.
5
Excellent management of the celiac customer, courteous and fast service. The entire menu is also available in gluten-free version. Very good gluten-free pizza.
5
the best gluten-free pizza I have eaten so far! the dough is excellent, the crust is high, and it’s really delicious!! I absolutely recommend it! they also have a small shop attached to the pizzeria for desserts and fresh pasta, of course gluten-free.. fast service and very kind, we had a great experience
5
for us celiacs, it is a guarantee of quality, excellent dishes, and attention.
5
Hello everyone, I've known this place for 10 years now, everything is top-notch gluten-free from pizza to passatelli and more. Fast service, great atmosphere! Everything is really well managed! Even the different plates to distinguish better! Top, I recommend it!!
5
The Must of Bellaria, very fast and punctual. Delicious pizzas and piadinas, superb seafood risotto. The fish soup is also truly worth it.
5
Beautiful location, friendly staff, and super service. The pizza is excellent with dough options of all kinds, even gluten-free. We'll happily return!
5
Really recommended place, I ate very well and spent little. My celiac girlfriend was really surprised by the gluten-free pizza, highly recommended. The fish is also highly recommended, very good, fresh, and of quality. One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at, considering the price.
4
Good food, almost the entire wide menu of sea and land is available gluten-free; they are also attentive to other dietary needs, with a vegan option and low glycemic index protein pasta. Many seats and a small playroom for children. Too bad for the long wait and the not always polite service; however, the girl who served us was very kind. Book in advance.
4
Walked in, and sat at their only unbooked/free table during what was a very busy lunchtime in Bellaria. We were warned of portion sizes.. big. Bowl of mussels is, as they warned, sharing bowl, and their prawn cocktail could be a main course. Enjoyed their Passatelli. Great value with an expansive menu. Notable for their gluten free options. Service was comparable for the region, you can’t rush here!
5
everything was excellent, I was very impressed by the truly varied menu
5
The best gluten-free pizza ever eaten to date.
5
We have been going to Matteo for many years and every time he exceeds our expectations. Excellent both pizza and restaurant!!!
5
The venue is certified with plenty of seating. Excellent food of all types! I recommend the seafood dishes, especially the gluten-free fried options!
5
Everything is great
5
Paradise for celiacs. The entire menu is available in a gluten-free version. Separate kitchen, zero contamination.
4
I had lunch there, good gluten-free piadina, well-filled. Attentive staff. Some products are also available. (To those interested, I was told that the piadinas with gluten are good and not very filled.)

It's really very good!!!

Being practically the only gluten-free certified restaurant in Bellaria, we ate at the restaurant several times during the week. 1. For me, the quality-price ratio is a NO. 2. I find it absurd to impose a surcharge for EACH gluten-free dish ordered; I see it as an unkind way to profit from a person's dietary needs, which in my case are obligations rather than preferences for maintaining my health. 3. One evening we ordered two gluten-free pastas (shrimp and porcini I think), if the second waiter hadn't noticed and rushed to stop me, we would have both eaten them with gluten. (It can happen) 4. It’s true that we could have gotten up and left after seeing the prices, but it’s the only place where we had a guarantee of not feeling unwell. 5. It’s a restaurant for passing tourists; you can draw your own conclusions, this is what we experienced. I don’t know how to respond, so I’m modifying the review. First of all, it’s a pleasure to talk and share opinions with polite people; I absolutely agree with you about the costs of gluten-free options. Unfortunately, probably if our government helped us more instead of trying to destroy every Italian business, you too could keep the prices a bit lower. That said, I really appreciated having this exchange of opinions with you. I changed my rating to three stars for the courtesy and politeness, and I am sure there will be an opportunity to hear from each other and meet again. Thank you for your response and for your fairness. I wish you a good day and hope you read this message.

I found this place on the last evening of the holiday, and I have to say.. DELICIOUS! Little wait, a very good thin crust pizza and a fried dish definitely above expectations.. next to a shop with gluten-free products.. recommended
5
Great experience at Taverna da Bruno, friendly and super fast staff even though the place was full. The pizzas were served together with the dishes from the kitchen. All menu options are also gluten-free with a surcharge of 1.50. A huge selection between pizza, meat, fish, and vegan. The gluten-free bread is made by them in a special wood-fired oven. Regular pizzas can be chosen with different types of dough (whole grain, kamut, spelt, charcoal, light flow). Highly recommended and inclusive for all dietary needs!
5
Exceptional. Extreme care for the celiac customer, the pizza is really the same as the one with gluten. Baked in a wood-fired oven. The dishes and desserts are exceptional. Highly recommended. A must-try for celiacs to eat really well. The entire menu is replicable gluten-free.
5
We have been there twice in the last week. We were pleased both in terms of taste and service. The gluten-free pizza is truly delicious, one of the best I've ever had! Prices are not low, but neither are they excessive (There is a surcharge for gluten-free, which is managed with care. Gluten-free dishes are served on colored plates.)
5
Great pizzeria restaurant... Fantastic pizza and superb first courses... The gluten-free option completes this place... Gluten-free first courses without noticing the difference (really exceptional) the gluten-free pizza dough is truly unrivaled... I have never found a better gluten-free pizza than this one!!! If you are in Bellaria, stop by Taverna di Bruno!!! EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!! My family and I travel a lot and so far I haven't found a restaurant as well-stocked with gluten-free pizza and first courses!!!
5
An absolute guarantee in terms of quality/price and speed of service... A vast and varied menu... from pizza to fish, including piadina... Everything is good and fresh... A destination for those looking for a certified gluten-free establishment in Faenza or attentive to food intolerances... As well as for fans of wood-fired pizza... large and in plain sight even on Ferragosto 😃!

The local place is very large, with indoor rooms and an outdoor area. Rustic yet well-kept decor. Kind and attentive staff. Service within the correct time frame, even considering the number of customers (I do not agree with the recent reviews complaining about slow service). We are a group of three: Excellent mussels cooked in white Romagna, gluten-free passatelli with shrimp, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes are delicious, gluten-free mixed fried seafood with fresh mullet, abundant and not too greasy. Top gluten-free fornarina! A giant hamburger with fries, 3 beers, 1 iced tea, 1 natural water, and a sorbet. 82€. I would say recommended!!
5
Great seafood. We had a really good seafood appetizer anf seafood pasta. The seafood was fresh and tasty. Pretty big portions. The place is quite big as well, there are extra rooms at rear. Good vegan and gluten free menu. Prompt service. Reasonable price
5
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent advice on pairings and dishes. We had dinner with pizza and lunch with a seafood appetizer and mixed fried, all excellent. It is worth mentioning the possibility of eating and drinking everything gluten-free (including beer) and also a vegan menu. Recommended.

I went to this place for the first time tonight with my husband. We had fries, fish risotto, and penne mare e monti, along with a Coca-Cola and a water, totaling 44 euros. The price is, therefore, average with a good quality-price ratio. We specifically came from Imola to try the piadina and a gluten-free first course at this restaurant. The piadina was excellent, the fries were fresh, and the penne mare e monti was wonderful. The penne were a bit too al dente for my taste, but still delicious. The risotto, however, left much to be desired... even though the fish was fresh. I give 3 stars for the risotto not being the best and because we waited half an hour to order, but once ordered, the wait for the dishes was almost average. We will return.

It’s a historic restaurant in Bellaria, where you can taste all the specialties of Romagna cuisine. I chose it for the pizza, for my wife who has been gluten-free for a few months and at the moment it’s the best she’s ever tried. According to her, you can’t notice the difference from traditional ones. It’s also possible to try different flours, kamut and spelt. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The place is cozy, both for a dinner in a couple and with friends. There is no parking nearby but it just takes patience to find some.
5
Beautiful place, very welcoming. Owners and staff are very kind. All dishes are excellent, both the first courses of meat and fish, and the second courses of meat and fish. Great pizza. Variety of choices of different flours. The place is suitable for celiacs. Normal quality-price ratio. Highly recommended.
5
Great place!! Everything is excellent, from the food to the wine!! Great place especially for gluten-free options. For the first time, I found a place where you can eat anything!! The charcuterie board with piadina was amazing, and the paccheri with burrata cream and cherry tomatoes are a must-try. It’s also a great idea to connect the restaurant with the SG store where you can buy gluten-free products.
5
THE GLUTEN FREE PARADISE! The menu offered for all customers can be replicated gluten-free! A welcoming environment rich in the history of the place, friendly staff, and the owner is a true expert in flours! A gluten-free store next door with all the products made by them... I had tears in my eyes to be able to taste the true flavor of bread again! Thank you
5
I have to say that I have never found such a welcoming restaurant with such kind staff as them. First of all... Then the spectacular cuisine is excellent and, above all, of high quality... From the starters to the desserts... A restaurant that offers the entire menu even gluten-free, never found in Italy and even abroad... And I can assure you that I travel a lot... Compliments truly for everything, 5 stars are few... I absolutely recommend it when you are in Bellaria... CONGRATULATIONS 🔝

We tried both the restaurant and the pizzeria. Excellent in both cases. We tried everything gluten-free and the pizza is really great. Fast and courteous service. This summer we have already been here twice and we will definitely return!
