Small family-run hotel, excellent location just a few steps from the beach, absolutely exceptional cuisine, mainly gluten-free. The family and staff are very kind, with great attention to gluten-free options, from the kitchen to the service. Separate breakfast buffet for gluten-free while lunch and dinner feature an entire gluten-free buffet, with great choices of first and second courses prepared in both traditional and gluten-free versions. A place definitely worth trying!

I am at Hotel Carlo for a ten-day vacation, I am satisfied and the food is very good. It's family-run right by the sea, the staff is kind and helpful. We are gluten intolerant and we are very comfortable. Great choice, I recommend it.

Hotel Carlo is located by the sea. We went there because my daughter is celiac, and since it's listed in the AIC guide, we decided to visit. They are very attentive to gluten-free management, yes, but they also handle meals with gluten well... I recommend it.

Seeing it from the outside, I wouldn't have chosen it. Instead, the dining and service is well above average. Hospitality service for guests with celiac disease is performed with military precision. Rooms are small (not the strong point), but very clean. Very good. We will return.

My husband and I discovered Hotel Carlo in 2016 and every time we return, the entire staff makes us experience a wonderful stay. Clean and welcoming hotel with a kitchen team that prepares delicious dishes for both celiacs and non-intolerant guests. The important thing is that those with dietary issues do not feel discriminated against here. I stayed in this hotel the first week of August with my girlfriend and what can I say… it was a wonderful discovery! The food is excellent, the desserts are spectacular! Whether gluten-free or not, the result doesn’t change, they are truly delicious! A shout out to the entire Carlo hotel family, very friendly and kind. We will definitely return! See you soon! We stayed for a weekend and had a great time, excellent location with access to the beach, the hotel is a bit old but has all the amenities, very good kitchen dedicated to gluten-free options, excellent value for money... very kind and helpful staff. We will definitely return.

We spent 5 days at this hotel, the owners were always friendly, smiling, and helpful, exuding a sense of relaxation. The food was excellent; you can sense the quality and dedication in its preparation, never overwhelming but with just the right portions. There was a gluten-free section dedicated to breakfast (and more) that was good and varied. Kudos also to the rest of the staff, servers, and cleaning personnel. The location is great as you get direct access to the sea via a short path. The only downsides are the small bathrooms in the rooms (lack of shower cubicles), but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were always impeccably clean. There's also no elevator, but I can understand the logistical challenges of creating one given the hotel's design. I suggest extending the lunch hours (maximum access by 1 PM) and dinner (maximum 8 PM) to 2 PM and 9 PM, respectively. I highly recommend staying at this establishment if you want to enjoy the quality of food and the pleasure of family-run management like in the past. Lastly, one not to overlook, the prices are excellent, truly an outstanding quality-price ratio. As their slogan says, "a small hotel, a big heart"... in the truest sense of the word!

Third time at that place where I feel great!!! It’s a paradise for celiacs. Marco and his family are always kind. The food is excellent, thanks to the talented chef Carlo. It’s also a nice hotel right in front of the sea, and the rooms are always clean! I will definitely return!!!!

I had the pleasure of staying for a week at the Carlo Hotel in Miramare. The experience was exceptional in every aspect. A family-run hotel, located in the front row, it offers direct access to the beach. The owners welcomed me warmly right away, very helpful and attentive to my needs. They were very available to provide advice on places to visit and nearby venues. The hotel is just a few kilometers from the centers of Rimini and Riccione, Mirabilandia, Aquafun, and the Misano go-kart track. They are very attentive in catering, offering many gluten-free dishes. The dining room has a sea view, and I particularly enjoyed the desserts and homemade pasta. The menu featured traditional Romagna dishes. Don't miss the dessert evening on Fridays.

Small seaside hotel from the 70s, not renovated, dining room with a sea view, predominantly gluten-free cuisine, antipasto buffet only with gluten-free foods (chickpeas, beans, salad). Personally, we didn't like the cuisine; most of the dishes were sent back. Beach and drinks not included in the all-inclusive deal. Poor quality/price ratio.

The hotel is in an excellent location, practically facing the sea with direct access to the beach. The food is good. The chef is very skilled in gluten-free cooking. We did not appreciate the room due to its extremely small size and the absence of a shower box, replaced by a kind of rain shower in the middle of the bathroom, which caused flooding of the floor, the sanitary facilities, and everything present each time we showered, due to the lack of a shower box and/or a curtain. Unless it has already happened since 2021, I believe it is necessary to renovate the rooms, if they are all like the one I stayed in.

We had a good time, although there are some negative points that make me stop the evaluation at three stars. Positive points: 1) Seafront in the true sense of the term, there are no busy roads to cross. 2) Cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. 3) Kindness and courtesy. 4) Breakfast with espresso coffee rather than awful vending machines. 5) Overall good cuisine, with a double choice of first and second courses and amazing desserts. 6) Gluten-free kitchen, I am told it was of quality, but we did not take advantage of it. 7) The attached beach service is fabulous. Ample space between sun umbrellas, not crammed like sardines. Negative points: 1) There is no elevator, true, it’s only two floors, but you can feel it with a full suitcase. 2) The rooms DO NOT have a shower box, consequently, the whole bathroom gets flooded and you risk slipping (especially the children). 3) Incredible but true, never happened until now... There is no vegetable buffet (cooked or raw), just a very sad unseasoned salad without tomatoes on each table, always the same every day. I honestly don’t understand why.

I stayed in this hotel with my family for a week and we had a great time. Starting with the owners who welcomed us with kindness and friendliness and all the dining staff. We found ourselves in a very family-like environment. As for the menu, we were more than satisfied. In particular, the gluten-free menu is very varied and excellent. All the numerous types of desserts we had the chance to eat were wonderful. We will definitely return!!

Small family-run hotel, very clean and welcoming rooms (like the rest of the hotel), always available and kind staff, very good food but especially gluten-free, in fact the menu is offered in a "normal" version and in its gluten-free counterpart. In short... I stayed for a few days, but I felt at home, I will definitely return and for a longer time. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Chef Carlo.

Deserved 3-star hotel. Home-style cooking, including gluten-free options. Tidy and clean rooms, and above all, a truly family-friendly atmosphere. Every need is met professionally. Beautiful, the managers are fantastic people, excellent cuisine, even for those who are gluten intolerant, the room is beautiful and the room cleaning is excellent, themed evening in the garden with fabulous desserts, we will definitely return.
