the venue is large and chaotic on Saturday night, but absolutely prepared and competent. the pizza is not Neapolitan, but it is made like they do in central Italy. nevertheless, excellent dough and ingredients

Finally, a gluten-free pizza that you wouldn’t guess is gluten-free. The others are great too and very varied.

Amazing Italian food, great prices, cozy vibe. : )

I am celiac and I have already returned because the pizza is very good, one of the best I have eaten so far. It is made by them with a special dough, it has no crust, so if you are a fan of pizzas with a crust, you will have to come to terms when you taste the rest. For my friends, the pizzas with regular dough were very much appreciated. I have already tried the sausage and friarielli which I recommend, the quattro formaggi was very good and a gorgonzola with walnuts, mascarpone, and cooked ham addition was excellent! The guys are good and knowledgeable, friendly and professional service. Welcoming atmosphere. An IMPORTANT note, all the desserts are gluten-free and very good, I would also like to mention that even those who are not celiac ate them with me!! So far I have tried the apple pie, Nutella crepes, semifreddo with nougat, and the chocolate cake with a warm heart. Go there!!

Panta Rei - An unforgettable culinary experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Panta Rei restaurant in Cusago is a true culinary gem. The location is welcoming and well-maintained, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, always ready to meet every need with a smile. The cuisine is simply exceptional. Each dish is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the presentation is impeccable. The pizza, both traditional and gluten-free, is among the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend the chocolate tart as a dessert, a true masterpiece! Another strong point is the variety of the menu, which offers options for all tastes, including vegetarian and vegan choices. Additionally, the presence of live music on Sundays makes the experience even more enjoyable and unique. In summary, Panta Rei is the ideal place for a romantic dinner, an evening with friends, or a family celebration. I can’t wait to return!

Restaurant and pizzeria that offers an excellent choice of appetizers, first and second courses from both the sea and land (perhaps even too much!), with a more than decent variety of pizzas. It’s not the usual pizza, more similar to a thin and crispy "Roman" style, with excellent ingredients used, although the dough might not please everyone! Good options for gluten-free products as well. Cold cuts, cheeses, and tartares are good and well presented, with truffle mortadella and fantastic focaccia!!!!😎 Decent risottos (perhaps a bit overcooked and not perfectly creamy), but the kitchen is more than expressive; Cacio e pepe hm… orecchiette with broccoli and shrimp not so good! (The chili wasn’t noted in the broccoli cream and it turned out dry, not creamy enough, and the shrimp were overcooked, too.) The porcini fillet was perfect in both cooking and temperature!!! Decent fried calamari... Good wine list and excellent alternatives offered. Desserts are absolutely to try, especially the drowning nougat, if possible with an addition of Baileys. Friendly, attentive, and available staff, although with some oversight. Cozy but simple place! Recommended.

This is a good example of a place where the locals visit frequently and the food was as good as expected.

The place is nice, there are options for gluten and lactose intolerants, but the service is slow and poorly organized. We ordered 2 rustic pizzas, 1 lactose-free, fortunately with a variation in toppings, and the recipient noticed it because the waiter had not specified and was giving it to someone else. The pizza is more like a topped flatbread, edible but not definable as pizza.

A pleasant discovery! Well-kept location, it's the typical and ancient Milanese trattoria without spending a fortune. Beautiful rural setting of an old Milanese farmhouse. Very professional, kind, and attentive staff. Good cleanliness. Excellent cuisine❗️, I will definitely return!

I wouldn't go back. The staff is friendly, although there were some errors with the pizzas, they were resolved fairly easily. The service was quite slow overall, not so much in the speed of the dishes coming out, which was actually very quick, but more in the little details (drinks/table presence, etc.). The 2 stars are because, considering the overall experience and the dishes themselves, I wouldn't return. The pizza is particular, so it must appeal to its kind, but the ingredients didn't leave me satisfied, and the crust was covered in flour from rolling (I'm not referring to the pizza in the photo as it was subsequently changed). The other dishes (pasta/main courses/desserts) were quite bland. Not to be ruled out if you want a quick pizza :)

A very nice restaurant with real Italian flair! I enjoyed every bite! The waiters and waitresses are so nice. For a true bite of Italy one should come here!

It was my first time going there. I had pizza 🍕 with whole wheat crust. Very good, it's a very thin pizza. The diner who was with me said that after eating it, they were still hungry because it's smaller than the usual pizza of normal size. The green apple ice cream was good. The only downside of the evening: it was hot inside the place - there were some fans on but the air conditioning was only partially working. In fact, many customers were fanning themselves and showed all the symptoms of heat. Prices were average.

To improve. The restaurant is located in a peripheral area of Milan, on a busy street, easily reachable by avoiding traffic, set inside an old farmhouse. The average price is about €45 per head for the restaurant cuisine, while it drops to around €20 for the pizzeria. Inside, there is ample parking, although it can't really be defined as proper parking since it is quite rundown and, in my opinion, needs some fixing. The restaurant has only one room inside during the winter period and a spacious outdoor area in the summer season. However, the venue lacks a well-defined character; it is very sober, with old tables and different chairs, yet still pleasant. The clientele, being a restaurant of this type, is very heterogeneous, favored especially by young people and families, even though the price relative to the quality and venue is a bit high. The welcome is very warm, handled by young women who make you feel at home immediately, advising you on the menu and always ready to offer a smile to make you feel comfortable. The menu is paper-based, a bit dated, well-structured with a wide variety of foods offered, at least on paper, suggesting cuisine of a certain level. The cuisine is Italian, and the raw materials are of decent quality, the dishes well-served although the presentation needs to be reconsidered; it is organized, pleasant, and fairly well looked after. Unfortunately, the temperature of the dishes is not respected; for instance, an excellent first course was served that diminished due to this issue. However, the level of the cuisine is definitely good. It is entrusted to a very young and promising chef who shows a great desire to do and improve. The less positive aspects are that the venue is very dated and would need a refresh along with the furnishings; another aspect to improve is the cuisine—not for taste, but for presentation, which feels very 80s. The chef seems to focus particularly on desserts and first courses, to the detriment of the other dishes, which come across as impersonal and lacking passion. It seems the chef has no room to maneuver, stuck in a direction for the restaurant that fossilizes on an outdated cuisine. This is a shame since the cook has clearly demonstrated having a lot of talent, especially in desserts, enjoying excellent technique; however, he should improve in the second courses. The service is very precise, handled by uniformed young women who are very professional, courteous, and available; the waiting times are normal. The cleanliness of the venue is generally well taken care of, although the structure is too old, like the bathrooms, which are unfortunately too dated, while the atmosphere is a bit noisy and chaotic, not having separate spaces. My rating is 3/5 because the cuisine is undoubtedly noteworthy (4/5), yet everything surrounding it needs improvement. In my modest opinion, a place certainly worth visiting. My advice is to rethink the cuisine, allowing space for the chef, and the furnishings and structure absolutely need to be reviewed, perhaps creating some secluded areas. Chef David H. It is located just outside Milan. In a beautiful farmhouse with a spacious gravel parking lot. Rustic location, suitable for both small and large groups. The idea of having all different chairs is cute. You can also eat outside in the summer. Friendly and super helpful staff. Fast service. Absolutely essential for me, the entire menu is also available gluten-free. All pizzas can be requested with gluten-free dough and ingredients. Thin and tasty pizza. During lockdown, always available for home delivery.

Beautiful location, excellent dishes, unique pizza: thin and soft base with little salt that is a must-try. A good place for gluten-free options. Prices are average. Very kind staff. We will definitely return.

Overall, the food is good, although there could be a bit more choice in the first courses; the pizzas are thin but I would say good. It's a shame about the water, which is not provided for free or at a symbolic price (50 cents) but at 2 euros for half a liter or 75cl, I don't remember. The location in Cusago is nice, spacious, and you can eat outdoors. Informal environment.

Perhaps an unfortunate evening, but apart from the 'appreciable' location, everything else was definitely subpar: unacceptable dishes, overcooked pasta, virtually no flavor, boiling water in the plate, overcooked fish practically dissolved. Waiters were totally absent; over three hours went by without anyone approaching to check if we needed water or anything else, and it was always necessary to get up and find them. Endless waits that were unjustifiable given the half-empty venue. I don’t know if I’ll return to try again, negative experience.

Restaurant near home that for one reason or another we had never frequented. This year we had a class dinner there, and I have to say it was quite lacking. There is not enough parking; the only option is to park illegally on the street outside. There is a significant shortage of service: we arrived at 8:15 PM with a reservation but were not seated until 8:45 PM, our orders were taken at 9:45 PM, and the pizzas were brought at 10:30 PM with great confusion and many wrong pizzas. And then let's talk about the pizzas: a complete disappointment, very low quality, almost raw and too salty. We're in Italy; typically, you can count on at least a decent pizza, but that’s not the case at Panta Rei.

Nice place, terrible pizza... maybe the gluten-free one is good for what gluten-free pizzas can be... the regular ones are definitely made with obviously precooked bases. Definitely an experience I wouldn't repeat for the pizza. I have no idea about the rest of the menu, but I don't feel like trying it. I give it 2 stars only for the country-style place that I like.

Quick and friendly staff. The place is always quite busy and the room can be noisy. Good pizza that is different from the usual. Very thin and seemingly small but... it's hard to finish it. Excellent dough. Coffee not recommended.

Everything flows is the mantra of this restaurant, and then it passes, I add. The staff is really friendly and caring but, in my view, that’s not enough to save the place. From a decor standpoint, it’s a mix of rustic and modern with pseudo-philosophical writings on the walls. The pizza, without a crust, was served on a wooden board covered with a sheet of paper (what's wrong with the old and dear plates?). The dough was well-cooked but lacked character. The menu had a strange layout. Besides the pizza, I didn't honestly venture further, and I'm not sure I would.

Refined lunchtime menu, good at a fair price. Very kind staff. Live music on Sundays. Charming courtyard setting in a farmhouse. Suggestive.

I had dinner here on Saturday night with friends. First of all, if you arrive around 8:30, it's already impossible to park inside; however, you can find a spot on the street. Inside it was very crowded, mostly large tables with many children, where everyone shouts continuously; it's very difficult to have a chat. The guys next to us only shouted and shouted, one even took off his t-shirt, but the waiter said nothing as he was always with them, even drinking lemoncello shots, probably because he was their friend. Another downside is having dinner on the veranda: it took a long time before a waiter passed by. Also, there was a bit of confusion with the orders, but I think that was due to the constant chaos. As for the menu, we all found it good: the platter of cured meats was excellent, the cheese platter a bit lacking, the pappardelle with wild boar good and plentiful, the fassona tartare beautiful and substantial, and even the octopus was not bad. The desserts were good too. The power went out twice, but I think it was only due to the not-so-favorable weather. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for quick meals or romantic dinners.

Very accommodating staff. Great for large parties. Make a reservation before coming. If you're lucky they will have live music. I came here often while working in Via Cusago and was never disappointed. Fair prices and delicious food. Parking can be a bit difficult.
