By now, on the calendar, holidays such as Ferragosto, Easter, Christmas, All Saints' Day, and so on, or a free weekend have only one name: the Bodeguita. Personally, I love to go in person, driving 110 km, an hour and a half from my home to reach this paradise. Because besides ordering large quantities from their bakery, I also buy other goods when I'm there, as everything tastes homemade. It reminds me of when my mom prepares things that I can't find around, and she surpasses my mother with her incredible creations. There's no gluten-free business that makes bread as soft and similar to the normal one, which can last for days; just heat it up and it always comes back fresh, fragrant, and tender. I always freeze everything and every day I heat up what I consume, and it feels like having her at home baking this goodness. I've tried a lot of businesses here in Puglia where I live and I can say that this is the only one that doesn't use deglutenized wheat starch, especially since I'm allergic to it. They use a variety of flours, all gluten-free, and not supermarket mixes, paying great attention to create magic, and above all, it requires love, dedication, and study because there’s research behind it. I watch my mom, and I know that it’s not easy to blend flours and achieve these results. And especially my mom has a love for cooking, which she possesses as well. If you put love into it, everything becomes easy. I hope to always find you there, and I wish you many more years of business because I always want to find you there every time I come, as you are irreplaceable. Only from you do I feel at home, and when I leave your store, I devour everything. I only bring bread home, while I eat all the focaccia, croissants, arancini, panzerotti, rustic snacks, and everything else right near your window. I don't even have time to sit in my car because I can't see that food anywhere else, and I devour it right away because the craving is strong. I see so many people eating food that I can't have while you make us feel like normal people, and that food that I longed for you produced gluten-free with your hands, and I can finally eat it too. I’ve never told you this, but for 3 years since I became your customer, I discovered you by fate because I was hospitalized for hernioplasty in Conversano, and they served disgusting food that wasn't gluten-free. I did some research, and you came up as a result. The day after I was discharged, I ate what wasn’t available in the hospital, and since then you have been my home. The products are so good that they could easily be mistaken for gluten-containing foods. Everything is top-notch, but I highly recommend the bread and focaccia, they're great! The best store for people with all kinds of intolerances! There's really everything, and every time I find myself overwhelmed with choices for all the delicious foods. They also offer shipping services throughout Italy and abroad and are always available for all kinds of orders, from the smallest to the largest. Discovering the bodeguita has never made me feel so lucky to be celiac!

What can I say? Simply paradise for those who cannot eat gluten. I arrived in Puglia with a fixed idea: "to eat focaccia" and it was a moment of pure enjoyment for my taste buds. I don't remember the name of the sweets I had, I just know they were with French chocolate and shortcrust pastry, and they were delicious. I didn't find the tarallini, but that's okay because as soon as possible, I will place an order, and they will arrive directly at home along with other goodies, so finally a bit of goodness even in the north. Congratulations really for your delights and the care and attention in preparing them.

Since my wife is celiac, we opted for a quick lunch at "La Bodeguita." We had a barese focaccia, a genovese-style focaccia, and some rustic pastries. Some of my friends, who are not celiac, had some rustic pastries and a sandwich with scamorza cheese and prosciutto. Everything was appreciated; however, I must mention that the sandwich was very expensive (€15). In my opinion, that is excessive pricing.
