I had been going there for several years as a gluten-free patron, and it was a relief to discover that it is part of the AFC circuit of AIC! A guarantee in terms of contamination and especially excellent quality of the dishes.

Very beautiful location, a short distance from the main road (we were traveling from Rieti to Spoleto). There is parking outside the establishment, which is not very large; in fact, we had some difficulty finding a spot, but it's worth mentioning that we arrived around 2 PM, so it's likely it was already full. The interior is a room, not too big, very nice and rustic, with a large beautiful fireplace. The waiters were very kind and helpful. The food was truly excellent; we had two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two desserts (the polenta cake was really amazing!!), two glasses of wine, and 1 water, all for €130.. in my opinion, a bit expensive! When we got home and looked at the receipt (attached in the photo), I noticed that my pasta dish was charged under "extra second courses" and we paid a whopping €33.. it was truffle tagliatelle (gluten-free) which from the menu would have cost €18 but which, most likely, they made with their own premium black truffle, which definitely costs a lot more!! Very good, for sure.. but no one had requested the premium instead of the "standard" one 😅 Too bad for this "misunderstanding" that cost us an extra €15..
