Unforgettable dinner at L’altra Guancia I discovered L’altra Guancia on Via Pietro Giannone in the heart of Rome and we were thrilled. The venue is elegant and intimate, perfect for a special evening or a relaxed dinner. The staff is super professional and welcoming: they guided us in our choices with expertise and many smiles. The dishes are extraordinary: the veal cheek melts in your mouth, the homemade spaghetti, the carbonara, and the amatriciana are simply perfect. The quality-price ratio is excellent, in line with the refined offering of the venue. There is also great attention for those with food intolerances.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place after visiting the Vatican Museums; there couldn't have been a better way to end the day. We were welcomed by courteous and friendly staff, which made the evening truly enjoyable, along with the delicious dishes that were served to us, including tastings of first courses and tripe. I am lactose intolerant and couldn’t have dessert, but Mr. Fulvio was kind enough to bring me some cookies that paired nicely with a good coffee. The ambiance is well-kept, the food is excellent and high-quality; I will definitely return when I am in Rome. Highly recommended if you want to be sure to eat well in an elegant setting.

Great Roman cuisine with also gluten-free variants. Good meatballs, very tender cheek with cheese and pepper. Desserts could be improved, but overall 5/5
