Delicious gelato with truly genuine and natural ingredients: mint, peach, hazelnut, and pistachio! Great even gluten-free cones and DELICIOUS waffles made by her. If you pass through Ferrara, it's a must-stop!!:-))

I discovered this gelato shop during the classic walk that Ferrara's green-loving locals indulge in when they have a bit of free time: The circuito delle mura. I would recommend this activity to tourists passing through as well. At the height of the Medaglie d'Oro square, I felt like having a nice gelato and the navigator suggested Fiordarancio, just 5 minutes off the sottomura route. The satisfaction of all palates is guaranteed by a good selection of flavors, ranging from the classics (the best cream I have ever tasted) to more refined ones (the Fiordarancio flavor, which gives the shop its name, is a must-try). Sadia, the charming owner, is a fine researcher of gelato artistry and if you are lucky, you might find at the counter the super fresh lime and sage flavor; the delicious peanut butter; the fig swirl or Profumi di Sicilia: just to mention my favorites. The absence of hydrogenated fats, artificial flavors, colorants, and gluten makes this gelato pleasant and highly digestible. Sadia pays maximum attention to selecting natural products, scrupulously avoiding industrial preparations, which certainly speed up gelato production but also make absorption more difficult. In short, it's the healthy gelato of the past, and especially not with those identical copy flavors found in every latitude. The cake on order proposal is also excellent (in the photo, the birthday cake I had prepared for my mother) as well as sweet crepes. It is clear from the effort put into this review that over time I have also become friends with Sadia, but who wouldn't want a talented gelato maker as a friend! ;)
