I tried the gluten-free (and wheat-free) pizza and it is really excellent, probably the best I have ever eaten. The base is light, not greasy, and very digestible. You can tell that there is attention to the ingredients and preparation (they have a separate oven for cooking gluten-free pizzas). The staff is kind and polite, and the atmosphere of the place is pleasant and well-maintained. Highly recommended, especially for those looking for an excellent gluten-free pizza but don't want to compromise on taste. Suitable for vegans and lactose-intolerant individuals as they have both vegan mozzarella and lactose-free mozzarella.

So, the table was reserved, I arrived and didn't wait. At least one thing. We ordered 2 spaghetti allo scoglio, one gluten-free, the pasta was a bit soft, mussels and clams were not of good quality and not very fresh. I eat them often, and if I say this, trust me. There wasn't even a shrimp or a lobster, just clams that were all closed, by the way. Then there were mussels, squid, and small calamari that I don't even like. A very small bottle of wine, 250 ml, just 1.5 glasses per person, I'm not exaggerating, a bottle of sparkling water, one gluten-free cheesecake + 1 coffee and nothing else. Total €58 seems a bit excessive to me. Around 10:45 PM, I asked if it's possible to get mussels marinara as a second dish, and they told me that the kitchen wouldn't make them anymore because they had to close, and by the way, they didn't even give me a receipt. Looking back, I would have asked for it, but I paid and wanted to go to the bathroom right away. What can I say, there are definitely better places, and also in terms of staff, I found a kind young guy, but the others didn't seem very friendly when I tried to chat with them inside. I was looking for a good quality-price ratio since they offered gluten-free food. Now that I know how it is, I would never go back. €60 and we didn't even order a second dish, just two first courses, water, 1 wine, one dessert, not 2! One coffee and a total of €60.

This weekend we had a small reunion with friends, all vegans, one of whom is celiac. The staff was very well-prepared and kind, their pizza with vegan cheese and pesto was spectacular!!! Also, the risotto with artichokes and vegan cheese was very good. We also had a choice for dessert: either a strawberry pudding or an orange cake, I gave in to the cake! It was delicious and fresh, nothing to envy to the "normal" ones. It doesn't seem like these desserts are on the menu, it's always better to call ahead to notify them of your needs and ask. Congratulations, highly recommended place.

We went to eat at this pizzeria with some friends, ordered 6 pizzas of which 2 were gluten-free. Honestly, mine, one of the gluten ones, was the worst, toppings "thrown" on top, sauce not up to par, little taste and terrible digestion. Luckily, I was the only one to suffer from it. Honest price, very long waiting times, over an hour of waiting even for the two children. Not a great experience, but they assured me that it's usually not like this... too bad.

My first gluten-free calzone was eaten here; I didn't think it could be done... and it was truly excellent... 10+ great job, as always... ❤️... The place was full and despite everything, our pizzas (along with everything else) arrived all together and shortly after we got the table... Great job! Class and skill aren't something you can just improvise... 10+

We chose it because it also offers gluten-free options. The place is a bit noisy, but the food is really excellent. One evening we had pizza (regular and gluten-free) and I must say it was great. The second evening we had tagliolini with seafood, curry, and crispy zucchini 😋 absolutely delicious. The pizzas are very reasonably priced, the dishes are a bit more expensive but still worth it.

As a recognized ACI place for celiac people, I wanted to try it since we come to Chiavari every year and have always seen it but never tried! Yesterday, my husband and I ordered. I had gnocco fritto with prosciutto, salami, and stracchino, while my husband had a pizza (normal). My gluten-free gnocco fritto was quite abundant, and as the waitress suggested, if I had eaten it alone, it would have counted as a main dish because it was so generous; she was right! The gnocco was delicious but a bit salty; in fact, I couldn't finish the last two pieces (what a pity about the salt because they were fantastic). As for my husband's pizza, unfortunately, the order hadn't gone through, so we called the waitress's attention to let her know that the pizza hadn't arrived yet. She apologized, and in the end, everything was resolved, and he also got to eat the pizza! I waited for him to finish so I could order desserts, and what can I say… he had tiramisù, and I had an apple pie with vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon… to say that my apple pie with ice cream and cinnamon was sublime is an understatement; I'd come back a thousand times just to eat that pie! Fantastic, you really must try it!

We had dinner with friends, delicious pizza, well-cooked, generous portion, one of the best gluten-free I've had. For dessert, I had an excellent tiramisu, everything was great. A must-stop for celiacs in Chiavari. Definitely worth trying again.

Wide selection of gluten-free dishes, including desserts! Very kind and nice staff! Also try the basil spritz 😋 Super recommended for celiacs.

Great gluten-free pizza and menu: definitely the best pizzeria restaurant in Chiavari for someone with celiac disease. The level of safety is commendable because they have a dedicated oven. It's a shame they don't offer delivery.

The gluten-free pizza is good but it did not satisfy me. I found it small and too lightly seasoned. I liked the gluten-free dessert very much. Unfortunately, the gluten-free pizza party is not available. What I did not like is that on the website of this establishment it says that all the dishes on the menu can be made gluten-free, and instead it’s not really the case. Perhaps it would be more correct to write that most of the dishes are available in gluten-free versions.

La Bitta is a guarantee, and according to celiac friends, the gluten-free pizzas are also fabulous (they cook in a dedicated oven). The service is always courteous, even when crowded, and the pizzas are fabulous, both for the quality of the dough and for the richness of the ingredients. We came from Genoa to eat at this place on the recommendation of a friend of ours, who always has a great experience eating gluten-free. Despite the place being full at the beginning and our group consisting of 16 people plus a small child, the staff was always very professional and up to the task. All dishes came out in the correct order, and the service itself was excellent, without any flaws. There is a wide selection of pizzas, and the craft beer menu is commendable (difficult to find but always highly appreciated, especially if they are Italian beers with a story behind them). My partner and I decided to order fried gnocco, which is served as an appetizer. The portion is huge; it comes with Parma ham, stracchino cheese, and salame di Sant'Olcese. Besides the pleasant discovery of the dish itself, which was greatly appreciated (both the standard and gluten-free versions), commendable is the choice to use quality raw materials, both for the cured meats and for the oils used for frying. I had the chance to taste both versions, and both were light and tasty, well done. We really appreciated that there wasn’t a lengthy menu, but simply a list of main dishes with 4 or 5 choices per course and a menu for the daily specials. Personally, I appreciate this, as it means the restaurant is more focused on selecting and using quality ingredients. Honestly, I don’t like those places that present a lengthy menu and brag about making any type of dish. Better to have a few great options. The ombrina tart with eggplant was also highly rated. The place is located just a few meters from the waterfront, near the railway. Sometimes the noise from the train can be annoying, it’s true, but it’s a negligible detail if the food is good. The price is in line with the quantity of the dishes and the quality of the products. We will return!

It is definitely the best pizzeria in Chiavari. The pizzas are excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven according to tradition, but the kitchen is also great. They offer rich and delicious dishes of fish and meat. It’s worth noting that almost all dishes are also available in a gluten-free version. Recently, there has been an internal restyling that has made the pizzeria more modern and appealing. The menu has also been updated with new cocktails, including those with basil, following the Genoese tradition. Last but not least, the staff is friendly and nice.
