Compared to the first times I went (when I thought it was the best gluten-free place in Rome, especially at the first location that then moved here), in my opinion it has worsened, at least based on how I ate today and also two weeks ago. Maybe it depends on the day, though. The sandwiches were slightly drier, with a slightly sour taste; the first time they were exceptional. I found a hair in one of them, I believe it was an arm hair, but that’s not a problem. I understand it can happen at any restaurant; not everyone can cook with gloves all the way up to their arms. The cannoli was very good and crunchy, the brownies were average, in my opinion, as they have remained unchanged. As for the staff, I found them less friendly, both the owner and his brother, who were lovely people during my first visits. Unfortunately, my rating is this today, but maybe if I return in the future I’ll change my mind.

The place is a little gem in the area. They make good quality gluten-free products. The maritozzo is really very good!! I should have taken photos, but my friends had already devoured everything. It's a small but intimate place.

Absolutely recommended gluten-free pasticceria. Both the pastries and coffee were delicious. We could enjoy things while sitting in the nice outdoor seating area, which is located on a walkway slightly elevated from the wide and relatively quiet street. Special mention for the fluffy sponge cake which was amazing; the croissant was nice and dense and could be filled upon demand with chocolate, jam or custard. Friendly personnel who kindly spoke in English to us to explain a couple of things.

Finally, a wonderful place to go eat delicious things, all gluten-free and lactose-free. The place is very cute, spotlessly clean, and the staff is extremely kind. Even the infusions and herbal teas are exceptional, all carefully selected. Thank you, Giorgio, and everyone who created and runs a place where a person like me with health issues can feel happy and face the difficulty of choosing among so many delicious things. Everything is gluten-free and lactose-free, yet everything is surprisingly good – not just the sweets, but also the savory offerings! I have already ordered two birthday cakes from them, and both were a success: beautiful to see, but especially soft, delicious, and well-made, that even those without intolerances had seconds. Every time I stop by, I also find a great selection of savory snacks, focaccia, mini-pizzas, and treats perfect for a quick lunch or an alternative aperitif. Everything is well-presented, tasty, and easily digestible. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and there's a warm and professional atmosphere. A place that proves that eating well, safely, and consciously is absolutely possible – without having to give up anything.

The food is AMAZING! We had a slice of pizza, a bigné, and an apple tart, and it was all utterly delicious 💞. I have celiac, and I loved the food; and my friend without celiac also loved the food. This is a bakery for the whole family! They have a wide selection of freshly prepared pastries, pizzas, and sandwiches, and you can get the food to go or can enjoy it at their inside or outside seating. We also enjoyed our visit because of their wonderful customer service -- he was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Sans De Blé!!!

A small but superb pastry shop in the San Paolo neighborhood of Rome. During a always pleasant and wonderful visit to Rome, we were based about a hundred meters from this pastry shop that we visited for breakfast on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th. The pastry shop specializes in gluten-free desserts, but since we have no intolerance, we appreciated their production as the quality and taste are excellent. Among the various sweet pieces we tasted, there was a superb chiffon cake, and then delicious croissants, filled pastries, and doughnuts. The cappuccinos were excellent too. Family-oriented and friendly service, just how a local place serving a neighborhood should be. Highly recommended.

I can say with utmost sincerity that the Sans de Ble' pastry shop is the best pastry shop (not just for celiacs) I have ever known. Searched online, a real surprise. I got a gluten-free and lactose-free cake, a real delight. The place is small but has a good variety of choices. Pastries and various cakes, as well as tarts and Neapolitan pastiera. In short, highly recommended even for those who have no issues with gluten and lactose.

Great pastry shop without lactose and gluten. Finally, I found one that makes desserts properly. They are very good, tasty, and have an excellent presentation. People who shared the pastries (brought as a small gift to a dinner) couldn’t tell the difference. There are many products of different types, from croissants to classic pastries. The only downside is the price, which, although the products were excellent, seemed a bit high to me (6 small pastries for about 11 euros). Nothing too intrusive or a reason to say I won't return, considering the area and the quality of the ingredients used. The staff is very courteous and kind, available to give advice. I assure you that if you stop by, you will fall in love with the place :)

I have been buying from Sans de Blé for several years and have never been disappointed. The selection of products is very diverse, with sweet and savory treats for all tastes. During the weekends, I often have to wait in line and find many of the usual products unavailable due to the huge crowds... It's better to go during the week or in the morning at opening time! The owners are always very kind, the products are delicious, I highly recommend it!!

I was very happy to have found a place to take my gluten-intolerant friend who came to visit me on vacation in Rome☀️☀️ The pastry shop is very welcoming and professional. Friendly and helpful staff. The gluten-free and lactose-free products we tried (including some vegan options) left us both satisfied (even I, who am not used to eating gluten-free, really enjoyed the delicious strudel). We also took away some savory products for lunch and a pack of cookies. It's a bit of a shame that there are no seating areas or hygiene services for customers... Croissants would also have been appreciated 🥐 as they are always very popular. Anyway, satisfied!

A small, clean place well taken care of in every detail, with a scent of good things that made me feel like a child again. I ordered my birthday cake there: simply excellent! On the palate, there’s no noticeable difference compared to gluten-containing products. Incredible. 2 euros for a filled roll... I'm sorry because I consider it one of the best gluten-free pastry shops... It seems absurd to spend 15 euros for a dove cake that is enough for maybe 3 people... I think it's immoral to propose such prices. I will publish photos of the receipt. Even though I don't have personal financial difficulties to the point of not being able to shop, with such high prices you take away the opportunity for many kids to eat your products regularly... Unfortunately, we will be forced to shop elsewhere.

I still have to taste the purchased products, but I must say that the waiting times have somewhat diminished my curiosity. 20 minutes is too long to serve only 2 customers, especially on a Sunday morning when people go to pick up sweets for lunch! A family-run business that shows attention to the needs of customers with special requirements, but that should improve time management!!!
