Alma Latina is one of those restaurants I often return to and it never disappoints. The food is truly excellent, the service is always impeccable, fast, and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The tacos are literally addictive! It is undoubtedly one of my absolute favorite places in Turin. Highly recommended.

It was the first time I went to this place, chosen because there were people with celiac disease in the group. The food didn't particularly impress me, but what disappointed me the most was the attitude of the waitress, who seemed very haughty and grumpy. On several occasions, she responded arrogantly and, among the various dishes served, she got one wrong. Considering we were a party of 12, that can happen. However, what I found unacceptable was how she handled the mistake: when the guy the dish was meant for pointed out that it was not correct, she rudely insisted she was sure. Regardless of the tone, she could have at least doubted that she had understood it wrong, since she took the order from the other side of such a large table. In reality, we all clearly heard the correct order, especially since the guy chose a dish with shrimp as he doesn’t eat chicken, whereas the one served contained chicken. To avoid any arguments, we decided to keep the wrong dish anyway, but even so, when she brought the correct one, she did it with even more rudeness. I really didn't like this attitude: even if she had been right (which she wasn't), being polite should be fundamental for those who work with the public; she didn't even entertain the doubt that she could be wrong. Obviously, I won't return to this place. I give one star to the service because you can't give zero.

The food is really good, it seems absurd that everything is gluten-free because you can't tell the difference. The menu offers a wide selection, including vegetarian and lactose-free options. Personally, I found the picanha tacos amazing. Fast service and the staff is extremely friendly and available. Suitable for romantic dinners, family gatherings, or with friends, especially thanks to the quiet atmosphere.

Delicious food without gluten and lactose. The friendly staff welcomed us and seated us in the outdoor area, but some time ago I also ate inside and both spaces are comfortable. The menu is varied and very good; I particularly appreciate the tastings that allow you to try as much as possible. The portions are not particularly large and bulky, but they still allow you to leave the restaurant satisfied. The only downside are the two desserts I tried, which did not impress me and I won’t order again. I remember having had a very good crème brûlée some time ago though.

Very nice place, my friend and I went there on a Saturday evening without a reservation and the owner was super kind and got us a table. Excellent service without long waits even though the place was full. Very good dishes (with vegan options). Recommended!

Terrible experience. We waited for more than half an hour, and when the dishes finally arrived, the portions were embarrassing (especially considering the price!!!). I spent €43.50 for two people and we both left the place starving and disappointed. I find it absurd to pay €9 for a barely stuffed fajitas that is definitely small. I expected them to be larger given the price. The €7.50 guacamole that was mentioned in the response was actually recommended to us by the waitress, and according to her, "it's enough for all six of you." And surely, the €7.50 guacamole was not the problem. "Mixed tapas" at €15 for ONE person? Absurd. The quality of the food was also good, but for those prices, I would expect at least decent portions. And anyway, I think there was a mistake because at our table, we all ordered at least 2 dishes, so no one could have spent so little.

Ordered takeaway from here after reading online it was 100% gluten free so was great for celiacs. The food was delicious and fresh and the staff were so friendly and accommodating whilst we waited in the restaurant with a drink. Could not recommend more, best gluten free tortillas I have tasted.

First dinner as a celiac and I felt very good since the entire menu is gluten-free. The only thing I would change is to vary the cuisine a bit more. I would also propose dishes like burritos and other meals that aren't just tacos like all Mexican restaurants.

This restaurant offers truly excellent cuisine. 100% gluten free and affiliated with AIC. I highly recommend trying it. You won't regret it. The place is very nice, with the possibility of dining outside, the staff is trained, competent, very helpful, and incredibly kind. I had a truly excellent culinary experience. I will definitely return to try other dishes. The prices are very reasonable compared to other places, and you leave satisfied. You have to try it to believe it.

Great experience at dinner with some friends. As a celiac, it’s always nice to be able to choose freely from all the items on the menu. We had sangria, a mix of appetizers to share, and the enchiladas. Everything was delicious, including the sweet tacos. It's recommended to make a reservation as it often gets full.

This Mexican restaurant is among our favorites and one of the best in Turin, just 100 meters from the Marconi Metro stop. We love the quality of the food, the fact that there is also fish, the flavorful and tasty combinations, the smiling, kind, and helpful waitresses, and the excellent value for money. Furthermore, the menu is completely gluten-free and suitable for many intolerances. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful time. Very welcoming and prepared staff. The food is really delicious and well presented. The frozen margarita is really good, to be paired with a quesadilla! The portions of the dishes are not excessive, so you'll need to consider more courses if you want to have a complete dinner.

A very colorful place and above all it is all GLUTEN-FREE! Almost all dishes are also lactose-free!! We went for lunch on Sunday, we preferred to book by calling an hour in advance and already from here we could perceive the staff's attention who asked if there were any other allergies to report aside from gluten and lactose. We followed the suggestions of the combinations of dishes proposed in the menu: nachos for 2, three tacos for one person, and a quesadilla + a taco for the other. In the end, we ordered one extra taco to share and two desserts. Overall, a fantastic lunch accompanied by ginger Mojito and a Frozen Margarita. If only we had a place like this close to home!

I love this place, especially because it offers the opportunity to enjoy excellent dishes of Mexican cuisine even for those who, like me, are intolerant to gluten and lactose! You don’t even need to specify it to the waiters when ordering because all the tacos and other delicacies are naturally gluten- and lactose-free. You are fantastic! Both the table service and home delivery are fast.

But yes, the place is very nice, if I had the chance, I would most likely furnish my house in this style 😅, maybe, just maybe, I was more excited by the location than by anything else. Let it be clear, the hospitality and the food were excellent, but I didn't feel that WOW inside me. Still, it remains one of the recommended Mexican restaurants, we will definitely meet again! I decided to take my girlfriend to this place that, at first glance, seemed interesting. The staff that assisted us consisted of a young and very polite guy, another gentleman (whose service was acceptable but a bit over the top), and an extremely rude lady; overall, however, the service turned out to be poor, as just after I ordered a taco, they immediately brought out the dessert, all together, without even giving me time to finish! Anyway, when I asked if I could have cutlery to eat the taco, this lady responded curtly, 'if you need them, yes,' as if I had made a strange request (does the customer not even have the right to ask for cutlery now?!). Finally, while I was paying the bill, this lady addressed my girlfriend, for no apparent reason, in an embarrassingly rude and incomprehensible threatening tone (a disgraceful thing), accusing her and reproaching her for not having informed the restaurant about her allergies before coming to eat there and to do so next time (giving her orders), without even knowing who she was talking to, evidently assuming we were two clueless kids just because we're young. Fortunately, we're used to much higher standards and were certainly taken aback by this waitress’s ignorant behavior (shame!). How dare your staff give us orders? I mean, we bring you money and you treat us like this? Goodbye and never see you again! The irony is that my girlfriend had already informed the waiters that she was allergic to certain foods, even though the menu did not provide information for those with allergies to specific products (just some little symbols to indicate that some dishes are spicy or that others contain lactose...), therefore, even if we had notified them before entering, nothing would have changed. We inform you that any respectable establishment does not put customers in discomfort regarding their food allergies like your waitress did. No establishment has ever posed this kind of problem to us, neither places like McDonald's, nor mid-level restaurants, nor taverns, nor pubs, bars, ethnic restaurants, or Michelin-starred places, since it is the establishment that must adapt to the needs of the customer, not the other way around!! If not, change jobs, as you are the first and the last to present us with this issue. Furthermore, have more respect for young customers, because we are by no means clueless, and the money we pay you is hard-earned, so do not feel too entitled to lecture us or explain things to us, since we may have been to many more places than you. A total disappointment. Obviously, the waitress can rest assured that there will be no next time, as we will never again set foot in this place and will strongly discourage others from going there. My dish, fajitas with chili meat, was quite poor; I even accepted the waiter’s advice on the sauce to pair with it, but I just burned my throat and didn't taste anything particular.

I would say it’s great for an evening with friends. We ate in the outdoor area on the street. The area is not busy, so you can eat peacefully. The tables are well spaced. I found the food excellent, and especially gluten-free! There was a little girl with us, and they made her a special off-menu dish for children. I would definitely return!

Pleasant locale with very courteous and attentive staff, the menu proposals are numerous and varied, and the presentation of the dishes is really well done and enjoyable! The flavors are good... however, I would like to return and find even more exciting flavors: the competition is strong and there is a risk of not being unforgettable in the end, and it would be a shame because you are good!

A VERY PLEASANT EVENING.. A NOT SO BIG PLACE BUT WITH VERY KIND, POLITE AND PREPARED STAFF. WE ATE VERY WELL AND WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE HOUSE DESSERT WITH FRESH MANGO PIECES AND A DIPLOMATIC DESSERT THAT TOOK OUR BREATH AWAY, NOT TO MENTION THE HUGE PORTION.... REALLY DELICIOUS. Gluten-free but truly delicious, very refined, slightly fusion, balanced, and enjoyable. The waitress was very very kind and advised us excellently. A place to absolutely visit (even for lunch reservations) and to return to. Well done!

Terrible guacamole made with avocados as hard as stone. Tasteless sauces. Summer dish made with totally incompatible ingredients. Fajitas presented like lasagna. Small portions. It reminds me nothing of Mexico. Experimentation is fine, but if the result is this, it would be much better to follow tradition.

Better than Alma Latina is only Las Rosas, which is owned by the same owner. But it’s a matter of taste. Elena has been presenting dishes of surprising quality and flavor for years. The real Mexican cuisine is only here. Alma Latina has a more experimental kitchen... Las Rosas has great classics that it combines with the experimental experiences of this place in San Salvario.

The staff is kind and super accommodating. The tacos are one better than the other, starting with the handmade gluten-free corn tortilla and leading to the fillings, each more delicious than the last, a perfect blend of Latin and Italian flavors (the porchettaco with their homemade porchetta is AMAZING)! To conclude, the Gelotaco, a filled tortilla with ice cream covered in chocolate and toasted almonds! Highly recommended even by my celiac friend who enjoyed a fantastic dinner! Reasonable price. We will return :)

The place is very nice inside, equipped with a dehor, like many places in the area. I had dinner there last night, friendly and helpful staff. I had chicken fajitas. The dish wasn’t very rich but sufficient; the quantity is always subjective. A small criticism about the tortillas, two in number, too small and above all I couldn’t pick them up after filling them (a little) because they fell apart. They were overcooked, making them unmanageable. The sangria and Frozen Margarita were good. A bit pricey compared to what I ate. Overall good.
