We often return to this pizzeria because every time it confirms our expectations: a young and welcoming atmosphere, fast and always friendly service, and above all… delicious pizzas! A special mention goes to the gluten-free pizza, which is truly one of the best I’ve ever had: the dough is light, digestible, well-risen, and arrives at the table large and fragrant – a real joy! Oh, and the Cecina is incredibly good! The venue is comfortable in every season: in winter, it’s nice inside, while in summer, you can eat outdoors in Piazza San Francesco, one of the most picturesque squares in Lucca. The context makes the experience even more enjoyable. The variety of flavors is also very interesting: besides the classics, there are seasonal pizzas with unique and never trivial combinations. You can tell there is care in the choice of ingredients and a desire to offer something always new. In short, if you are in Lucca and looking for a pizza that will leave you smiling, you can’t go wrong here!

The place is always full of people, which is a great sign! 👌🏼 We really liked the food and the fact that the restaurant has a gluten-free option on the menu (although I couldn’t find that information on the menu, I asked the waitress). The only thing we didn't like is the fact of how burned the edges of one of our pizzas were and that the second one had a tomato that wasn't super ready to eat yet. 🙈 The staff was super busy and managed the guests very nicely. They forgot about us for quite some time, but it was totally understandable. We would completely recommend it! Try to have a table outside - the climate is amazing there.
