I have eaten there a few times during my work lunch break. It's not AIC, but the staff is informed, although sometimes they may be a bit superficial when taking orders and signaling any potential allergens. The risotto alla milanese is good and plentiful.

Staff is available and well-prepared, it is not a certified local place but they are attentive to contamination (e.g., they suggested cooking in a pot instead of on the grill for the fish I ordered because the grill was contaminated). There are not many options for the first courses, but it is definitely a celiac-friendly restaurant for the second courses and in the staff's preparation.

Although it was early, dinner was already available from 6:30 PM. It didn't seem touristy at all, in a good way. I was able to enjoy typical Milanese dishes with saffron risotto and osso buco for me (excellent) and gluten-free saffron risotto for my companion, a revisited version with braised meat. It was great, the portions and seasoning were not timid at all. A pleasant environment and the waiter was very aware of the celiac disease issue, and very helpful and kind.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!!!!!! In a Milan where everyone is always looking for exclusivity and appearances, I stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant made of "People" and not "things". A big difference that takes this culinary environment to a higher level compared to many renowned places in Modern City. In its simplicity of decor, amid tables and chairs in a humble style, the waitstaff, like the very young Andrea or the lovely and sweet Franchina, gracefully navigate with great Empathy, Attention, and Care. They see, observe, act, and complete their service always with a big Smile. Alma, a name that says it all, shares an important story in her way of being, and she is a wonderful owner. The dishes are well served, plentiful, and, according to everyone, full of flavor in their simplicity, even for those who, like me, have very high intolerance issues. The wine selection is good with some interesting variations. Prices are definitely lower than others, but that doesn’t mean the quality is lacking. Of course, it goes without saying that I will definitely return. Thank you very much. Stefano
