We ordered a margherita pizza costing 13 euros (a bit expensive, but we are in a holiday place). Gluten-free bread was offered by the house, definitely good. We reported our intolerances at the time of booking: good attention to cross-contamination. Recommended venue.

Great location on the bay of Sestri, attentive service, and friendly staff. We are not aware of the gluten-free menu options as they were not mentioned, but we had pizza a couple of times. We appreciate the effort to provide a special service since few offer it, but I expected more care and attention in the preparation and cooking. Since we have had excellent pizzas elsewhere, it means it's possible to make a great product. Pesce Balla, you can certainly do better!

I was looking for a place to eat fresh fish gluten-free as my wife and I are celiacs, and I must say it is not easy to find something in Liguria. I have to say that the staff, although not AIC certified, are very attentive and offer various gluten-free options including pasta, pizza, and truly delicious stuffed focaccia. The fish was fresh and well prepared. The only downside that makes us celiacs dream is that they do not serve gluten-free fried food, but there is really a lot of choice. An experience definitely to be repeated.
