Great pizza. In Parma, among the AIC venues, it is definitely the best gluten-free pizza. They study a lot to perfect the dough. The pizza is very digestible and not at all floury. The cost is higher than average. The owners are very kind. The place gets quite chaotic on weekends because it is very popular.

I have been coming to La Vela for years with my friends. The place is really fantastic: a welcoming atmosphere perfect for an evening with company. We greatly appreciate the fact that La Vela also offers the possibility to eat gluten-free pizzas and desserts (an attention that is not at all taken for granted and makes everyone feel included). We were at this pizzeria restaurant on Monday evening and had a truly pleasant experience. One of the best gluten-free pizzas I've tasted so far. The regular dough is also excellent. Generous toppings and no digestive discomfort. Maybe the place could use a bit of renovation, but otherwise, no criticisms. Courteous and well-prepared staff. Absolutely worth trying.

I met this vendor by chance online because I was looking for a pizzeria that served gluten-free pizzas and, if possible, lactose-free ones. I purchased gluten-free bases online, meaning without gluten, sealed and air-free, to be stored for up to two months in the fridge or freezer, a mix of flours like rice and corn. The minimum order was 5 bases plus shipping costs. I waited some time before leaving a review because I needed to find the right oven temperature for baking. The rise cannot be expected much because it has no gluten; the digestibility of the dough is good, and by managing the cooking with ingredients to our liking, the pizza is good. The service is good; the owner contacts you via WhatsApp to know how it went and if there were any problems of any kind. Overall, it's good to try ordering again even though it's from another region.

A GIGANTIC pizza, the largest I've ever eaten (even before receiving the celiac diagnosis)!!! And this is just one of the many qualities I appreciated; first of all, the extremely high level of safety! The gluten-free pizzas are cooked in a dedicated and well-separated wood-fired oven. The ingredients used are all of excellent quality and the pizza is well topped. It's super digestible, thin, and crunchy. The place is family-run and all the staff are knowledgeable and willing to assist with any request. In conclusion, besides being one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, I'll be back for the size... which in this case really matters!

How I regret moving to Milan. Any other gluten-free pizzeria is not even remotely comparable to La Vela's!!! So good, completely on another level!!! 5⭐ stars also for the name of the owner's cat! Top!! Also for the addition of taggiasche olives which made my gluten-free and lactose-free pizza so much happier!!!! I would come to Parma just for the pizza .. Truly highly recommended!!!

We were on the road and fortunately I found them making gluten-free food. Open for lunch until 3:30 PM. Thin and good pizza. They prepare it safely in-house with a dedicated gluten-free oven. Friendly staff and a very spacious and well-organized environment.

Excellent service, the staff is very friendly and nice. The location is pretty, there is a large parking area across the street, and numerous seats inside. The only downside was the pizza, good, but 3 out of 5 stars (I had the salmon pizza, there was really too much tomato). Needs improvement. All pizzas are also available gluten-free, but not the kitchen.

Great pizza - the list of available pizzas is so long you might be given choice anxiety! Even better is that they can make it gluten free (and safe for coeliacs). I’m a very conservative coeliac but they made me feel safe, and I didn’t get sick. The marscapone desert was also terrific.

Huge pizzeria. They do a lot of takeout but also have plenty of seating. It's a really spacious place, great for large groups. They are extremely fast with their service. The pizza is really good with the option to choose between regular, whole wheat, or thin crust. They are a guarantee for gluten-free pizza for coeliacs, with a dedicated counter and oven to avoid contamination. The gluten-free pizzas are huge but thin. There is a small parking area in front of the venue and another parking lot 100 meters away.

The restaurant is very crowded and despite the reservation, we had to wait several minutes before being seated, and this is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. As for the rest, I had the gluten-free pizza and I must say it was really delicious and arrived very quickly. All the waiters were kind, and despite being busy, they still had time for courtesy and smiles. I will definitely return because it is truly worth it, keep it up! 😁

This is one of my favourite places in Parma. Gluten-free pizza, that is absolutely amazing and enough options for us as Vegans. And then though they tell us every time that "this" is The last time. They let us bring our own Vegan cheese, so we can have the full experience. This quality of Gluten-free and Vegan pizza I haven't found much elsewhere. The place is cutely old-fashioned decorated. The only thing I feel sad about is that the TV is always on. And not just that, the signal seems to bad as well, so it's quite a bit distracting from the amazing food they serve. But I'm sure, I'll find my way back to them anyways.

5 stars aren't enough... For over thirty years, this has been my go-to restaurant and pizzeria, and that of 90% of the neighborhood! The staff is all very friendly and kind! Incredible dishes from the sea and land, as well as options for celiacs! Well done Sabina, Paolo, Raffa, and Dodo. I almost forgot, the prices are as special as they are: special and from another time. Well... you have to try to believe it: Honest people deserve the best!!!

A safe harbor. You can't go wrong, plenty of seating, promotions year-round, quality of raw materials, various doughs and pizzas for celiacs. Staff always available despite the large number of people. Fast service despite also having a lot of takeout activity. Open for lunch with menu and pizza. Fair price. In fact, excellent price, feels like going back in time. A meal with half-meter pizzas, beer, and drinks for 10 of us cost 15 euros each.

The pizzeria/restaurant is nice! I went there during lunch break and ordered a gluten-free verdiane pizza! The pizza was big, thin, and quite good! Too bad about the rather slow service! Those going during their work break don't have much time, so I recommend going in the evening!

Due to a misunderstanding caused by a momentary distraction of an employee, the younger owner took responsibility for the problem and worked to resolve it in the best possible way and as quickly as possible. Very serious and available people, a winning and honest way of working, gluten-free pizza that is very digestible and also very good. We will return soon.
