I had the pleasure of dining at this Michelin-starred restaurant in Terracina and I was pleasantly surprised! The panzanella with tomatoes, burrata, anchovies from Ponza, and Taggiasche olives was an explosion of flavors and freshness. The truffle raviolo was creamy and fragrant, while the gluten-free gnocchi with goat sauce was a smart and tasty choice. The beef cheek with mashed potatoes was cooked to perfection and very tender. Considering the Michelin star, the prices seemed more than fair. But what really made the difference was the staff, extremely kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality cuisine and impeccable service.

The Altobelli Inn in Terracina is a place that truly deserves to be discovered and appreciated, not least because it is recommended by the Michelin Guide. We have been there many times and each time we return with the same enthusiasm, certain that we will experience a top-notch gastronomic experience. The raw materials used are always of excellent quality and one can perceive the great skill of the chef in enhancing them, thanks to precise and never trivial processing techniques. The dishes stand out not only for the goodness of the individual components but especially for the refined pairings of flavors that make each course balanced and surprising. The modern location creates an elegant and welcoming environment where every detail is thoughtfully attended to. The same goes for the service: impeccable, professional, and at the same time warm, with a particular sensitivity towards the customers. From the moment of booking, great attention is paid to any allergies or intolerances, confirming that the customer is always at the center of the experience. Although the menu clearly leans towards meat, there is always a good selection of vegetarian dishes, a consideration that allows for satisfying different tastes and needs, bringing everyone together. Overall, dining at the Altobelli Inn is an experience worth repeating time and time again. A cuisine that convinces, excellent service, and an atmosphere carefully crafted in every detail: five well-deserved stars.

We visited for the first time and appreciated the quality of the dishes and raw materials. The menu had good options, mainly meat-based, including gluten-free options. We ordered beef tartare in two variants, both very good, a panzanella, and slightly salty but good Angus carpaccio. For the first courses, the tonnarelli alla gricia with the chef's seasonal figs were excellent. The cecapreti, a typical local pasta with goat sauce, was also very good. For the second course, we had a tasty beef braised dish. For dessert, we had a semifreddo and a tart, both good and well-presented. The wine list was good; we ordered a red Lazio DOC blend of Montepulciano, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, which I liked very much, but it did not match the description provided by the staff, perhaps they thought they were talking about another wine in the cellar. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dining room is not very spacious, furnished in a simple inn style and well air-conditioned, though service times were not optimal for the clientele served. There was a lack of background music. Overall, we had a good experience, and I recommend it.
