Il Fornaio di Alassio, located in the historic center, offers a corner dedicated to gluten-free products, such as focaccine and pizzette. The variety could be expanded, but it is possible to order bread and other products on request. Noteworthy for its attention to contamination.

availability of fresh gluten-free products, packaged to avoid contamination. a lifesaver in Alassio. The focaccia di Recco was excellent, which I had never found gluten-free before, and also the baci di Alassio.

The best!!! Single portions of focaccias, pizzas with various doughs, brioches, and assorted sweets!!! I found them delicious and super fresh!

Highly recommended for celiacs. AIC certified and with a separate gluten-free production to avoid contamination. Small focaccia, mini pizzas, cheese focaccia, sweet focaccia, apple muffins. Tried everything and everything was delicious. Typical prices for gluten-free products.

Delicious focaccias, especially the one with cheese. The Nutella muffin is also out of this world. A bit pricey but worth it. Everything is fresh but packaged to avoid contamination.

Historic baker also gluten-free. Gluten-free products both sweet and savory, to try.

I have been using this store for years, always well-stocked with various types of bread (I absolutely recommend the olive bread, a real delicacy, and I recently discovered the evening baguettes, baked only in the afternoon after about 5:30 PM, which are very soft). There is a wide selection of fresh and dry pastries, fresh pasta, focaccia, and various types of pizza, as well as baci di Alassio. The section for gluten intolerant people is also very well-stocked, prepared in a dedicated laboratory separate from the rest of the production. The store is always super tidy and clean, the clerks are very quick in service and always friendly and smiling.

Expensive, but good

Arrived at opening time on the advice of locals, as the bakery is AIC certified. The lady before me asks if they have reserved bread. They respond curtly that she must wait because it isn't ready. I ask if the gluten-free products are limited to the 2-3 packaged items on display. They respond irritated that they are still preparing. Either I was very unlucky or it's better to stay away. What a shame.

Great bread, flatbreads, mini-pizzas, brioche, etc. gluten-free. It's worth it! They are always available, but it's better to book. Then, of course, there is the sale of bread and all products with "normal" flour 😊 but unfortunately I can't give a judgment on that 😜ðŸ˜

It is commendable that a "traditional" bakery dedicates space to gluten-free products. If only all bakers would do the same! The mini-pizzas and focaccia are delicious; the lady who served us was very kind. I recommend it!

Finally, after a century, I managed to eat the focacciaðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Highly recommended for both sweet and savory!

If you are in Alassio, you cannot miss a visit to the Forno di Alassio! A historic bakery that offers a wide range of artisanal baked goods, from bread to focaccia, and even the typical sweets of the area. But what really makes it special is the attention to people with food intolerances: the store is included in the AIC list, with a selection of gluten-free products that don’t make you feel the difference compared to traditional ones.

There’s little to say, just one word... Exceptional! Great products, both savory and sweet! Kind and courteous staff!

Wide selection of gluten-free products, especially many savory options that are not easy to find. Fresh and good products, also available for phone reservations.

I have been visiting this store for a few years now when I come on vacation, and I can say that I have tried a bit of everything they have... including panettoni and colombe... I would say that they are of good pastry quality... as for prices, they are in line with gluten-free products... the portions are not huge but... good!

A really large bakery in the center of Alassio. Reading about a certified oven, when you enter you expect to have a choice of everything on display. BUT NO! The gluten-free options are limited to a small side shelf. The production is in-house, but in my opinion, it is insufficient to be considered a certified bakery.

The best gluten free bakery ever! They have a whole section dedicated to gluten free goods. I would highly recommend the focaccia. Everything they make is excellent and I always pick up a couple extra for later. The owners are super friendly and always give my son a grissini and he loves it.

Baker in the center of Alassio. Gluten-free offer marginalized on a small shelf with small focaccias and mini pizzas, but at high prices. The gluten-free proposal thus becomes meaningless.

Bakery with a section dedicated to gluten-free. For several years, they have had a separate lab where they prepare various gluten-free products, both sweet and savory; I liked that when choosing the product, they asked me if I was only celiac or if I had other needs (like lactose), a not-so-common attention. The treats I bought were very good and the prices were in line with gluten-free prices; I will go back!

Thanks to the Aic app, I was able to find this fantastic gluten-free oven. I expected much more to be honest. This is because, having the certification, I would have liked to see all the displays filled with sweet and savory products for celiacs. Instead, the only reserved space was very small and with packaged products (fresh at the moment). The staff was friendly and helpful, the owner even advises on what times to go to find the freshest items possible. Very high prices. Small venue with few seats.

A beautiful bakery in the historic center of Alassio. They have a section with all their gluten-free products like focaccine and pizzette. By order, they also make gluten-free bread. Gluten-free products are priced higher than regular products.

My girlfriend finds everything she desires and even more, and it's all delicious. She couldn't be happier.

Excellent quality of all products. There is also a special shelf for gluten-free foods. Highly recommended.

Good Ligurian focaccia. Compliments for the gluten-free options. Decent organization. Staff rude and not very welcoming.

Great central location in the 'budello' of Alassio, the street of summer shopping, excellent products and appreciated professionalism, with special credit for producing gluten-free products.

It is commendable that a baker dedicates a small corner to gluten-free options, paying close attention to contamination. Unfortunately, there aren't many gluten-free products, but I hope that in the future the gluten-free offering can expand. Anyway, they also make other things on order besides what is available in the store. Appreciable.

Absurd!!!! It's the sixth time in a month that I've tried to buy gluten-free products, but it's been impossible. Once it was too early... Once too late... then the oven was out of order... and so on with various excuses. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff I encountered in the store was anything but friendly. I understand the workload, but customers should always be treated with RESPECT. I will never go back again.
