This is the third consecutive year we are returning. It’s a magnificent place in an isolated and uncrowded location. They have a beach reserved only for hotel guests, and it’s a beautiful beach. What has made us return for more years is not just the place but above all the service and the cuisine. They have always been excellent, at least until last year. I am celiac, and they have dedicated breakfast and all dishes in gluten-free versions. However, this year it seems something has changed in the kitchen. Both my girlfriend (who is not celiac) and I have noticed a significant decline, both in the selection of dishes and especially in the quality of the latter. Dishes are more abundant but unfortunately lacking in taste. Since there is not much gluten-free choice on the island, we didn’t have many options. For this reason, it is with regret that I don’t think we will return very soon, hoping that everything can go back to how it was before.
